    Hi,
some good guitar playing going on here, some distortion which most of the others have covered. I think if you re-did this and cleaned it, there is a lot of potential to develop this into a really good track and I would certainly be interested in working on it. Good work so far.
    Best wishes,

Hey this is pretty nice playing! You definitely overdrove the input at times, so it might be worth recording again at a lower level. Filters would probably just ruin your tone. I enjoyed listening though! Keep it up!

Reply by KAMPUTERA Thank you Spivkurl. I put a lot of time into practicing it and I doubt I'll be able to play it as good again. If I did, it would evolve into a new song. So I'll probably start on something new in the near future. Thanks for listening. :)

Reply by KAMPUTERA Super Thanks Benham! I appreciate your time to comment and I agree my recording could be better. Because of the environment I spueeze it in where I can and make do with what time and ingenuital arrangements I can create to get a sound of something I like. I'm stubborn and lack certain characteristics that may be considered normal. Life is Brutal! Sometimes...

Regardless of overall quality of recording...i really like your guitar playing...its very good.

? Can you play Funk or Disco style riffs ?

I'm in great need of live disco style guitaring riffs/loops.

    Let me know

    Reply by KAMPUTERA A Dj,

I'm interested in what you're looking for. I can do sound byte riffs as loops or a continuous flow. I'm gonna have a listen to your tracks and get back to you. The earliest would be later today and for sure tomorrow. I have to catch up on some sleep.

Thanks for the review and I appreciate your comments. Being liked is always a bonus. I figuring you're looking for some scratch type runs over a bass rhythm. Similar to record scratching back in the hey day only on guitar. I can definitely do some whip or whoop style type of thing. I'll need to know tempo. Make it fun and easy.

I'm going to listen to your music and get a feel of where you are going. Of course, later. My rest is first. Later on.

Interesting experiment. The chord progression is "standard" but it is well played and the sound comes out surprisingly good (I am assuming you used the built-in microphone of your android device).
As Ed already pointed out, some clips here and there, but I am sure that "slicing" out the clipping parts it should still be possible to extract the loops you need to make a song out of this recording.
I hope you'll find someone to sing on it.
    Ciao, Domenico

Reply by KAMPUTERA Yep! Straight through the Droid's mic. The owner recently downgraded the recording quality because initially I was getting some awesome recordings. Of course, that was natural unamplified sounds. It's quiye possible the fidelity of the amp's speaker was producing overtones that the Droid couldn't handle. "LiveN'Learn!" I was ticked when I listened to what I got. I'll try runnig it through some filters to see what I can get out of it. Some mid and high pass filters should do the trick. Anyways... Good thoughts and thanks. :)

Hi Kamputera.....interesting that you found an android app the can actually record without more latency than acceptable...I gave up looking after reading that the system just wouldnt work for audio at any decent specs....notice some distortion in the track...likely just overdrove the inputs capability a bit but if you discount that it sounds surprisingly good....I got tired of spending hours trying to do stuff with the major software years ago...and I have used most of them over the years (they all work fine if you want to spend a lot of time at it I guess)....been using Acid Pro for about the last 8 years...does everything I could do on anything else...just easier & most stuff on the fly.....keep on......Ed

Reply by KAMPUTERA Thanks TW for your review. I believe this track was recorded live with my ANDROID device on record near a Roland Micro Cube. My levels were a bit too high and my Droid, possibly, too close to the amp. Tape-A-Talk records in .wav, but there's another app. called ASR that records to .mp3. I'll be giving that one a try. The computer that had my recording software on it crashed and I'm hesitant to resurrect it. I appreciate the listen Ed and Take Care, Mario.

Description : This is an acoustic cover of the song "Come As You Are" by David Crowder. I recorded, mixed, and mastered this one in two days! Almost done burned me out haha! Hope you enjoy! My older brother does the lead vocals and I do everything else, from instrumentation to harmonies. No vocal-editing whatsoever in this one. The guitars were all one-take recordings. Updated the audio - I added tambourine hits in the 2nd and 3rd choruses; just helps make for a more moving song.

Description : Just an acoustic/piano piece I threw together a few nights ago when coming home from university. My brother and I were doing some acoustic music together in my room, just having fun; came out with this; I immediately got on my DAW and recorded it before I forgot how ti went lol. Hoping to get some strings on it soon as well as some vocals from the bro! :P In the meantime, enjoy this instrumental.

Description : Here's a lil' acoustic instrumental I never wrote words to. Used a Guild acoustic guitar mic'd with an AKG C214 and my trusty ol' Yamaha MOX8 for other instruments (excluding shaker - that was real ;). You can find the guitar loops to this song on my profile page. Maybe one of you looperpeeps can come up with something for words on this. Otherwise, enjoy le moosic :3

Description : A track I did with a friend ages ago. I play the guitar and he sang and wrote the lyrics. The lyrics came mostly from headlines in the newspaper that sunday. Recorded using a crappy old microphone direct into cubase with a few overdubs

Description : There were two separate tracks in work, but who knows why I got tired with them and then decided to merge them (or at least what left from them) into one piece hence they originate out of same musical purpose. No worries...no world war was ment here, except my recent personal one...haha...and you don't want to know about it.:) It's not real etude by any means, yet it's quite alot about practicing...practicing...

Description : This is my attempt at the one-hour challenge for LM (finished at 57 min 48 sec). I had to mix/master on the go and this was the result. Some bad chords here and there that I did my best to conceal, one-takes on guitar and piano and used an awesome acapella from a1000times, who wrote the words that Dikaiko sang over. I really like her voice. Anyhoo yea, I like this one a lot so probably gonna come back to this in the near future. Comments welcome. I got the acapella here: https://www.looperman.com/acapellas/detail/7656/marauder-feat-dikaiko-by-a1000times-132bpm-dance-acapella EDIT: This track has been updated. I think I'm going to call it finished :)

Description : I put this under acoustic even though I did use a couple midi tracks. I felt they sounded acoustic enough to put the track in that category. Suppose it could be chill out as well, however you want to label it, do so. I used an Indian flute and an electric guitar sounding plugin with some tremolo added along with acoustic guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Nothing too complicated here and I felt it sounded good enough to upload so enjoy!

Description : Although I don't consider myself a religious person I can't escape the cultural bonds with christianity, and so I'm well aware of the forthcoming christian feasts like 'Good Friday' and ofcourse the 'Easter' when christians all over the world are remembering the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. For this occasion I remembered I still have something special in my musical archive..:) Quite some years ago, in fact before I even started to compose my own music, I did this rendition of 'Pilate's Dream' which is an acoustic number from Andrew Lloyd Weber's famous musical 'JC Superstar' ! The timing couldn't be better to upload such a thing...but what is so special about it you may ask.....Well, I guess this was my first and probably the last attempt to record myself "singing"...haha...but don't worry, it's more about story telling than proper singing...but then again it's frankly embarrassing either way, so it should be dawning on you that I had to gather alot of courage to even think of putting this in front of you...haha...However this is your first and the last chance to hear Orlando "sing"..:)^^ Happy Easter folks !:)

Description : This was actually my first attempt at recording an acoustic guitar, almost two years ago. I had just learned at the time that STEREO sounds so much more immersive than MONO. I was too inexperienced enough before to think that panning was all that important :P This was my attempt at getting a wider sound with acoustic guitars. The guitars and vocals are all done by me. I did most of these vocal recordings in one take - hence the wobbliness in some parts :P But feel free to comment and let me know what you think of it. - EpicRecord
