Description : Here it is: the quintessential drum groove that underpinned many a 1970's Disco hit. This groove emulated from the hit "TSOP" by MFSB (1974). Basic kit, the TSS-ing hi-hats, and a conga player in the background. Some sub-bass frequencies added to the kick, and a light reverb added to it all.

Description : Here's 4 loopable bars of a drum ensemble with shakers, group claps and congas, playing a 1970's Disco groove which resembles that great dance hit "Shame" by Evelyn "Champagne" King. Sub-bass frequencies added to the kick, and a light reverb added to it all. I did not compress or maximize, as I wanted lots of dynamics.

This is a LFO modulated atonal acid groove, which I designed on my analog modular synth. I'm putting this under drum and bass because of the tempo, but it would be useful for drumstep, glitch, techno, and stuff like that.
