Description : I made a new rumble rack using only Reason devices. These rumbles are all from the RD-9 as source samples, then fed through a rumble chain of reverb, delay, overdrive distortion and filter. Finally I used the Pump device to shape the rumble. I wanted to try to do the same type of rumbles I can do in Ableton in the Reason rack - the results are pretty hard-hitting.

Description : I've gone way back to the old school today, sampling my Yamaha V50 FM synth from the 80s, then chopping up sequences from it in Mimic, then adding FX like space delay, distortion and chorus to the chops to add a bit of modern flavour. These loops can easily be re-chopped in your own sampler and the chops will stay in key.

Description : The old Thor still has potential for good EDM sounds. I made this groove layer with Thor and the new Sentinel Distortion from Vain Audio. Sentinel is cool because you can choose which frequencies to distort with a lot of control. Loop is in B Flat (Looperman doesn't have that option so it says B).
