Description : This is a pretty fat phat bass line intended for psy or goa trance. The sounds come from my analog modular synth, and I sidechained it with a beat to enhance dynamics.

Description : This is a fun frequency modulation acid bass synth sort of sequence, with a good pace to it. Could be good for things like trance as well. This loop is in the key of C minor.

Description : A grimey bass line that I'm putting under acid for a genre, just because it fits the style of the related set of loops. This is a sidechained version of the other bass loop in this series. Could be good for electro, dubstep, whatever... This loop is in the key of C minor.

Description : Just finished a new module for the Eat Lead Copper modular synth, it's called the VCM-1 or voltage controlled mixer. This series of loops is made using all four channels fed with four different waveforms from a VCO. Different voltage sources control the amplitude of the different waveforms. A repeating bass stab reminiscent of hardcore dance.

This series of loops is made using all four channels fed with four different waveforms from a VCO. Different voltage sources control the amplitude of the different waveforms. Just a simple bass line, but it should be good for something.

This series of loops is made using all four channels fed with four different waveforms from a VCO. Different voltage sources control the amplitude of the different waveforms. This is a pretty basic wave, with a little delay after the beat. Gives a little syncopation I think.

A not so low bass sound, demonstrating the diode clipping on some waveforms.

Description : I did a couple of before and after loops, to demonstrate the benefits of EQ'ing synth sounds. This is a sync bass which is a massive preset.

Here are the EQ changes I made:
50 Hz low cut brought all the way down
87 Hz raised 5 Db with a fairly narrow Q
600 Hz lowered 3 Db with a fairly wide Q
1295 Hz raised 8 Db with a moderate Q
6324 Hz high cut lowered 5 Db

Description : I like this one, it's got good bass to it. Would sound nice with a sweeping filter I think. Good for acid and stuff.
