Thanks alot for your delicious compliments:) For all our fans:
Our first record will be out in March next year, and the "SCCM
World Tour" begins on 17th of May at Madison Square Garden NY!
Hi Midiman!
What a crazy track!! And sounding really good - a mixture of a lot of things. The drums are to die for and I loved that piano and also the very very cool bass line.
A truly stunning piece.
I'm hearing that you love what you do.
A lot of passion gone in to this track.
Thanks so much, SJ. So glad you like it. Just going back in time, again! Glad you like the giggling at the end. I thought it was a cute touch.
Our international band, Musicante, just did a cute one with some cool Portuguese dialogue and singing. You may get into the guitar. Check it out if you like. http://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/162371
This is lovely, with an oldschool flavour to it all the way! Great production and arrangement - which daw are you using by the way? I'm guessing Ableton.
Really digging the first part to 6:30. The second track (I think of them as two different tracks..) is sounding more slick and polished. I think I prefer the first one though, it's more dynamic.
Thanks. I was going for an old school kind of a vibe so mission accomplished I guess. As for which DAW i'm using it's FL studio. I use a lot of loopmasters/prime loops packs these days as they contain sounds that I can't make with the equipment I've got.
Thanks for stopping by and lending your ears.

A great instrumental to this Acapella. Very minimalistic in some way which allows Patricias voice to shine even more.
This is actually the same vox I used snippets from in the "People" song you listened to.
This is the great thing about Looperman, that you get to hear how others use the same material and make something completely different of it.
This one became a very nice unique piece of music.
Cheers!
/ SJ =)
I can see that I am going to have to learn how to think about pieces to which I listen on Looperman. I see comments are thoughtful and willing to provide some criticism. This is very different than the (almost unconditional) praise I have found on other sites.
Yes my back drop was minimal. I tried adding more and I found it either buried the vocals or became a blur. This felt right to me.
I liked the intro.
Keep developing the melody some more, after the drop maybe? It sounds a bit..unmelodic or messy? And add some sweeping pads and drums.
Hahaha! This is great!
It has this slippery, smoshy feeling over the lyris and all over your voice - as there should be in a love song.
I think your vox could benefit from having a little more distance, at the moment it's very close to the ear somehow. Maybe a touch of reverb and delay and maybe layering it a few times also in between the chorus.
The instrumental it self is one of my favourites here.
Hi!
You took me by surprise with that great energetic intro. I also think this is more house than DnB.
Really feeling the automation going on in he beginning but then it starts to get overwhelmingly too many melodies upon each other - if you bring some of the sounds back a little and keep others in front and choose one or two main lead melodies then you got a super cool song here!
Right now it's good and fun to listen to but it gets a little messy at times.
This is of course just my personal opinion and nothing more, take it or leave it. =)
I'm amazed of how you manage to bring all those sounds together without drowning any of them in the process - it's sounding crispy clean and evenly...compressed?
thanks man, I very rarely use compressors on individual channels. They're tricky things to get right and you can end up loosing all the dynamics and completely f'ing it up so I use tube pre amp emulations to get things loud and eq to separate the various frequencies whilst checking things on a spectrum analyzer. I do use a maximizer/limiter on the master throughout the whole process, seems to work.
Very nice sound quality and great use of the backing vocals to complement Janis here.
The drums/the beat I don't know about, I like to dance or at least to move to music and do find it a bit hard with a jazzy kind of rhythm that isn't consistent. But that's just my poor brain wanting to control things, I guess.
Good stuff anyhow! Very innovative and creative.
Cheers / SJ =)
thank you for your nice comments SJ.
I can only say that there is a snare on 2 and 4 beat so you could dance and move to it anyway... Thanks again and all the best to you,
Alex
So you are 11 years old?
This is sounding pretty good, I like the intro.
The drums are maybe drowning a bit and the vocal is a little out of key but I like what you have done here.
Keep at it and you will be producing hit music in no time!
I listened to some of the other entries and this would be the winner in my book so far.
(But one thing though, some of the guitar chords sound a little out of key at some points - don't know if that is suppose to be or not.)
well alright.. thanks.. yeah there is a lil bangin going on but I didn't think I was suppose to adjust that, what if they wrote it like that?? My biggest problem was working with the eq, to much reverb then it was heavily compressed. Its very difficult to get the detail out of the instrument. If the tracks were dry, (comp. eq verb ect) I would have had alot more fun designing the verbs and DDL for some really cool imaging, but was all good, like the track too. :) thanks for checking it out.
HI Steve!
What a great pick of vocal sample from the acapella by Jenny Mayhem - you got a good ear for putting great sounds together.
I liked this song a lot, thanks for the DL. Still listening to Two Seasons on my way to work by the way, almost daily, and it's still amazing. This one has the same flavour in it!
Hi Destero!
You have some mad producing skills! I've been listening to some of your work here just now and liked it all, this one is a really great tune for instance.
I'll keep listening to more of your production later on - nice to get to know yet an other incredibly creative Looperman member!
Hi SJ,
first up thank you for the nice review, next i have to say is that all tracks not made with live instruments so i think that i did not earn that much praise for ,music is my life and i can´t imagen what happens if i musst exist without, nice to know that there is someone listen to my earlier tracks, but beware some of them very special in different way´s, thanks again for turn by and have a listen :)all the best,DRO
I always feel like my brain is boiling when listening to jazz-type of music. It tries very hard to find melody patterns that doesn't exist...or do exist but just for the one moment.
This is cool! Especially the piano going crazy in the outro. Loved it!
Thanks a lot SeriouslyJoking!
So it's a kind of a jazzy music not 'jazz' really:)
I agree: - it ends up far away from the all what it suppose to be at the beginning and in the midde:)
Nice day:)

Hi - what a track! So loveable.
Greetings to Pauline and her excellent voice!
Also enjoyed the airy feel of the music and just loved the outro with that guitar, simply outstanding. It's great to have real musicians here like you!!
Thank you so much for your comments - much appreciated. I will make sure I pass on your compliments and greetings to Pauline. She will be knocked out with your kind words. Glad you enjoyed the guitar solo too and I am extremely flattered you think I'm a "real musician". Very rewarding indeed.

So happy you enjoyed it! Thanks for listening/commenting. Longer piece would be nice, but doubt I will extend this, fear of breaking it.
