Hey Alex...love the space in this piece,it definitely shows your broad perceptive vision and tonal grasp, not to mention your keyboard skills...love it!...I will be going through your tracks diligently very shortly, and I know it's going to be a wonderful experience...ok,with reference to your review of my track,at the moment I am putting a new body on a custom fretless bass that I made, which will make it a totally acoustic toned instrument,no magnetic pickups, just a piezo saddle,I hope we can then collaborate on some music together as I know we have a few things in common...again this is a superb composition!.....a splendid collaborative effort with Ferryterry!...cheers Dave :)
thanks a lot Dave! I really appreciate that.
would be great to make some music with you. I will spend some moments tomorrow thinking of what I can share with you and eventually let you know about the ideas if only anything will appear of course.
thanks again for your nice comments.
Greetings, Alex
Don't you just love the Rhodes? It always gives so much emotion and atmosphere to any track. Guitar and sax are both nice touches. Gotta love that groove too. Nice use of that percussion loop (Nexus?).
Judging from the different upload dates, it seems you are very productive :-). Mixing is still quite OK for this track.
hi again and thanks for your time and listening. Glad you enjoyed this one as well!
I love Rhodes and using them a lot. Here it's MrRay22 free plugin. Really nice to hear you liked the groove eventhough it's a bit odd meter here as well.
There's some nice ehnic percussion loop from ferryterry and some congas also jazz drums. The fill loop are probably 2x faster played here but I do not remember the source.
Thanks again for your interest in my music and comments on production and mixing - much appreciated! and I am glad that I can somehow inspire you.
Greetings, Alex
hi and many thanks for nice comments on this track! Really glad you enjoyed it. A bit weird and crazy fusion but it's really nice to hear that it could be perceived also as a kind of relaxing song. Thanks again!
Greetings, Alex
Very soothing track here. Promenade very impressive emotional melodies and transitions to help the listener feel almost lost in your sound. I see how u can turn that skill to help others see your emotions in this type of music. keep up the positive work so that we can all develop that same type of skill. Thank you for your awesome composition . Definitely favoring this one! Take care my friend :) -EazyBeatz-
thanks EazyBeatz for your kind words. I really appreciate your nice comments. It is so nice to hear that you can feel some connection with this music. All the best, Alex
If my musician friends would be able to do this live at one of the regular jam sessions(it would last 15 minutes for sure)the crowd would go nuts afterwards and cheering like crazy!!! Beautiful and complex.
hi Peter and many thanks for such a nice comment!
this would be difficult for a band for sure but I think it is still possible cause all the instruments are just 'live' recorded here - with some adjustments though but still playable by some band. my longer tracks like this coming soon.
again thanks for your time and kind words. really glad you liked the song.
Alex
hi Livingsoulsdie, glad you enjoyed the track.
Basically 'fusion' genre combines elements of different genres together. Here you can find the Rhodes piano improvised lines as well Moog lines and Moog bass, jazz sax improv and jazzy acoustic guitar, some 'talking' tribal drums, congas and of course jazz drums. Also some Rhodes fuzz synth pad. I used 'MrRay22' for Rhodes and 'MiniMogueVA' plugins for Moog synth. I do not make el. dance music at the moment but still everything is possibe as I experiment a lot with genres. Anyway this song is the most 'fusion'-like one so far. Thanks again for your time and comment, Alex
hi, really glad you enjoyed this song. I am fascinated by a fusion genre where everything is possible. especially the 80's fusion style like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JCCjuNDOERs
hope you like it too. Many thanks for your time, listening and nice comments - always appreciated!. Alex
Stunning work. Has different feels mixed into one. The beat is very complex and indie-like. The Sax solo and Acoustic solo were absolutely on point. I enjoyed this!
Thanks a lot for your nice comment! Glad you liked this track. For some reason the bass range is quite low in my latest productions - thanks for pointing this! Greetings, Alex
Thanks a lot Scott,
I am happy you liked some of the jazz vibes in here. I hope I will be able to record music using real Rhodes or Wurli in the future.
Really glad you liked the track. Thanks for your comment,
Alex
Right from the start, this has a sweet live improv sort of feel to it! Loving the percussion so much! Classic sounds you've incorporated in this number. ferryterry has contributed some awesome parts to the jam! Digging the outro, very stylish. Great work! Fave!
thanks a lot for nice words! Glad you enjoyed the percussion work - I tried to create some colours as well just like you can find it in the jazz-drumming. thanks again for your time and listening to my music! Alex
hi. sorry for my slow reply. I am glad you liked the track! The idea here was to combine some improvised jazz lines, jazz and ethinc percussions all together also with my e piano playing and create some 'fusion' song. I wish I could create more tracks like this soon. The groove is a bit odd here but still it works and it is quite fluent. My inspirations for fusion is 'Mahavishnu Orchestra' or 'Wheather Report' and the jazz/rock/funk fusion from 70's and early 80's. I listened a lot to jazz as well. Still trying to get more into jazz keyboard playing.
Thanks again, Alex

==============
Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.
Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^
Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.
After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
Description : I had to go in on this track. This is a future bass, electrofusion song. I posted the full version here full the Looperfam because you guys give me sooooo much support. I can never thank you all enough.
Description : A spoopy song, early for Halloween. This was a collaboration with Micky, who did most of the work.
A musical realization of a poem by Thomas Hardy
Idea: Spearcarrier
Voices: Spearcarrier & Micky
Music: Micky
Genre: We don't know yet. Suggestions welcome. LOL
Description : Messing around with my midi keyboard (I am no pianist as you will hear). Just a bunch ideas put together with guitar and keys. Don't miss the end :-) it shows the obvious lack of inspiration to find a decent ending of the so called musician! This track is work in progress all ideas are welcome!
would be great to make some music with you. I will spend some moments tomorrow thinking of what I can share with you and eventually let you know about the ideas if only anything will appear of course.

I'll let others do the long, drawn out, cliched reviews. I'll just sit back and enjoy the music.
Excellent work! Another fav from me.
