Bonjour, raw and authentic. The subjects close to our hearts and soul will always make the most passionate music. I am sorry for your struggles. Not everyone in this world understands the diversity of us as human beings. And it is ever the more painful when intolerance comes from your own family. Consider us your second family that will embrace your talent with no strings and no judgment, we like you just the way you are. Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
Oh my, that bassline was so Penthouse and Pavement (heaven 17). White boy funk (era tag)! So many good things going on in this one. nice Phased Pad. Catchy Chorus! Good solid tune mate!
Believe it or not, I've been trying unsuccessfully to get permission for a (non-commercial) cover version of (WE DON'T NEED THIS) FASCIST GROOVE THANG from their company for years...
I do get a Zappa vibe on the vocals.
but it's that synth solo in the background that I love. Hypnotic and psychedelic as always, ever-changing and ever interesting. Great work my friend (PS nice use of the bongos, subtle but fitting) You get 5 Mushrooms for this one
Hey man I appreciate you continuing to encourage
me to "Express Myself" in my own way.
(PS I didn't think anyone would notice the Bongo's)
It's real easy for me to fall down the Percussion rabbit hole never to be seen again. LOL.
Thank you for your listen and encouraging comments.
It's like two different songs, beautifully chill in the beginning, and then it's like you had that double espresso, but it wears off and your chill again. Kind of a good musical metaphor for many people's lives on a daily basis my friend. Well done.
Thank you sir! means a lot, do u mean Valhalla Supermassive? no, but I do have Valhalla Vintage Verb also using Shimmer from time to time. but il check out the supermassive reviews for sure.
Dude!! here's what I like about this one. You have combined two sounds that I like, one being from Bulgaria (deep zone project) for the bass, and the Phrygian melodies and traditional middle eastern melodies like (Acid Arab) which are French. I almost wanted to hear the vocals with less auto-tune and a more natural sound as I love the mix of technology with tradition. very good, and I will keep my eye on you . 3 songs to give u an idea of what I am saying: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ruq-Td7wy0

For Funk's sake! this is awesome mate! Twisty and turn ''sey'' at the right moments. you have the pulse on post-post psychedelic mate! That keys-solo is amazing and very Jordan Rudess-like. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome mate!
very very cool Mate. I love experimental sounds. But this has a cool cohesion. To be honest. I could not come to an equivalent artist's work to compare. This is unique and captures many of the ambient's world styles, but you have put it together in a unique solitary sound that stands on its own. congrats on that. Fav`d, a really poignant work my friend capturing the true nature of Ambient.
Beautiful. I haven't seen you around for a bit so welcome back first and foremost. This is the perfect bittersweet tune. I really like all the elements of this one.
Thank you for a warm welcome on my return Crucethus. I've been working hard at general life stuff, but I feel very blessed to come back to such an amazing community.
Thank you for your kind words. I hope you are keeping well?
Very good, reminds me of early Ultravox with John Foxx (not Midge Ure). haunting maudlin emotional and very central-eastern European sounding. You nailed it right on the head Mate.
Paz y salud.
I fav`d this 15 seconds in. minimalism at its best. Builds brilliantly. Vox sounds evil and emo. From the master-baiter of clicks in the cabaret ( I may have dyslexia) has created a new wave Goth opus. great job.
More a funk-disco song, with a British rap ethos. you need to do some FX on those vocals which are good and dated to 80`s early rap. I love your guitar work, (as always). here is an idea of what I would expect for FX on the vox https://youtu.be/Jf78lmt-808?t=196. play with this one mate, it has great potential.
The vocals are by Melvatron: https://www.looperman.com/acapellas/detail/19311/disco-tribute-123bpm-house-acapella and they have a lot of reverb. That's his choice, and I decided to work with that :)
The Deee-lite sound is certainly an interesting idea, I will give that a go!
(The backgrond vocals by Charlotte are "cleaner", as you probably noticed. I generally try not to use too many effects)
Yeah, it's maybe more funk than disco, but that's my thing :) Thanks as always for your critical thinking and positive advice, it's much appreciated!
The key changes freaked me out a bit in the beginning and throughout, but this is such a solid euro-house track overall. reminds me of a sound long lost in dance music, but you executed it eloquently. good work.
