Haha, well technically it was, as it's in my living room :D
I'm trying to learn how to make it more studio, but I'm finding out that's also going to cost a couple thousands more in equipment - not to mention invaluable skills ;)
Thanks buddy!
Awesome as always ED! I love that sinister bass underneath it all. Always love it when U produce music. Guitars as always are sublime Someday I will make my way out to Manitoba.....Somewhere down that crazy river ehh!
Big thanks mate...don`t go to Manitoba...come to Saskatchewan (I wasn`t even sure how to say it when we moved over here) and look me up.Appreciate the generous comments,,,always good to hear from you...Ed
My word, just now. A rainbow-colored mushroom exploded out of my head. 1:26 we go all prog. This is Genius mate, prob one of my faves from u. 3:12 TO 3:16 NICE LEAD IN AND THEN ITS FREAKING GENISIS (PG era) meets Rush. Great Work
Thanks for the comment and the fave. I've been leaning more towards complexity lately, but avoiding metal and rock (for some reason), which leaves fusion and progressive elements (and a little IDM) to get my complexity fix.
Nothing worse than having to apologize for getting bass all over someone's face ehh? The vox is cool at the end. The mushrooms must have been extra good when u did this mate!. Wow. Creatively done as usual.
I started to name it "Bass in the face".
Bass all over your face would have been a
good title. Back to the drawing board.
Thanks for giving the track a listen.
I remember their songs as a young child on the radio and singing along. They were always having hits played on radio as I grew up until they all started dying. I do like their earlier music tho.
Nice filtered intro. cool entrance. love the g-tar, cute synth underneath then the organ with that brass is sublime. Cool Mix. percussion add-ons are a treat, this is a masterclass. After that old school synth solo, the guitar tone was awesome. was it a vst amp? Cool waka wakas at the end, and then gone. I like that ending. great job as usual.
Cru, music is one of life's simple pleasures that causes us
to fall in love with it over and over again. I'm thankful every time you stop by and share your thoughts. Everything you heard is what I intended to convey. I'm glad you enjoyed the listen. Be safe.
Ahh, guys, you need an animated video for this one. I love that Bass, nice impact to lead to the eighties synth brass stabs., cool percussion, and a really nice slap bass with some well-phased pads. I hear Micky's voice nicely ethereal-like. This is a cool track mates.
Beautiful Song. The Mix and Mastering are spectacular and such a nice melange of Assamese spirit using the pentatonic scale with the electronic but in a very tasteful way. Which do you prefer, Borgeet, or Ojapali?
Wow, I am so glad to read your comment and to know about your knowledge of Assamese music. I prefer Borgeet as I have received a national scholarship in Borgeet and have little more knowledge than Ojapali. please connect on my email id mentioned in my profile.
Wow, what an intro. The time sig choices you have made, have enabled my head to twitch for a few minutes, but I got over it as the song settled in with that piano and some cool spatial sounds giving you that acid-like experience sort of like Mushroom does. This is a very well-creative composition you have made. I had to listen twice, fav'd
Cool Mate. I like how the early part has a Drudge or Sledge metal feel to it. But it builds and ebbs, so cool mate! 2:00 on is a nice tone on the high to mid-high rage. love the double bass drums after that section.
This recording is the result of polished studio work ... obviously we play much rougher and dirtier live than this ... and a completely different kind of metal ... I'll show you:

But I'm glad you like the EQ. I remember spending a lot of time fiddling with knobs that I wasn't sure where to point them to.
Haven't made much music in the past, but I hope that this will change soon.
If I make tracks I will definitely post them here - thanks!
