Puss N Boots Into, Sweep to bring us in. Nice bass though. I love the deep female vox, and you have the snare mixed at the right moment. Added to Fav's Nice progressive sound while holding on to an essence of commercial. Really, nice work, mate! This is what separates the amateurs from the pro's.
Welcome back buddy, I have been taking a break as well after the loss of my Dad in May, sorting out all of the details, but I am back, I have been building a new Workstation as my old one is Windows 10 and I can't upgrade it. Sounds real nice. Keep it coming!
nice to see you Steven sorry to here about your father its nice to know your still out and about with your music and building a new workstation, ive just upgraded all my FL Stuff :))
Yeah. Even made my wife go "who is this" I was almost envisioning you going the Electric callboy route with a massive death thrash bridge, that solo was hot, My only suggestion on that guitar sustain at the end to have it slightly feedback on itself, but otherwise a real banger!
Well, I hope your wife said that because she likes the song smile. I'm truly honored that you compared me to Electric Callboy and even placed us near the dash-trash genrethat's a perspective I hadn't considered before! Are you familiar with Electric Callboy? Did you attend one of their shows during their world tour? Warm wishes, Manuela.
Var ar vi nu, lovely intro mate! Very mellow and dark tube, just as I like. Mon Dieu, you have earned so much. I am eternally proud of how good you have become at understanding musical arrangement. So Proud of you for what you have accomplished and learned. I love to see that when people see your name, they click...because they know what you bring is quality. I think the torch is passed, Loon, my friend. You have done so well.
Enjoy what you are creating.
Also a band called kent but i guess you knew that lol
thanks man i will say it again it all comes down to your cheat sheet and of course ive added to it but its the bases of every tune i do now second nature.

theres a couple of sheep hanging aboot a cliff im about to visit ;)
thank you for your continued support bro its been priceless for sure. :)
Ooh, So Nice. I liked the nice Phrygian Modes. Are you singing in this eh? Very Nice. Here is Norwegian producer/DJ Todd Terje taking an old Turkish Disco Tune and acidizing it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGILR4txS7w
It's what you reminded me of tonight.
Hi and thanx for your compliment.
And yes its me lol but i listen to the song you send...i will never sing like that lol.Great voice she have.
If you like this genre then i have 1 for you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6f9zlN4eFX8
Very Nice. got Avril Lavigne vibes song wise, but a much, much better singer than her Manuela. Very nice song, Fav'd Great Chorus. loved the guitar tones on the solo. Great Job
Awesome work, you should check out the Soundtrack to "Flash Gordon" done by Queen. Very similar sound sets and approach on the instrumentals. Great Job
Back with a vengeance, as they say. Love the dialogue between you and Manuela. Nice synth pad opening, then some nice dissonant chords. I was just reading an excellent article on Judas Priest, when they put out Turbo, and how some fans rejected it for the synth treatments. But let me tell you Brother that shit has stood the test of time. Also, the fact that it was to be a double album called Twin Turbos until the record company said nah, uh.. so ram it down was the second. I love the fact that they always pushed experimentation and genres, like I try to do. This Is an excellent piece of work, my friend. fav'd
I like the dialogue too. It kind of reminds me of the old days here, when we would carry on in a thread. Now it seems like people just comment to get their track to the top. A one and done sort of thing. Oh well, what'cha gonna do? We can't always be like Ponyboy, right?
I was in 6th grade when Turbo came out. It was the first time I was knowingly exposed to Judas Priest. I absolutely loved the synths mixed with the...we'll call it rock. I was going to say metal, but by today's standards, it's not metal at all. But I still love the hell out of that album. In fact, Priest is one of my favorites. Especially their early work.
Thanks for swingin' by, Steve. I always appreciate it when you do.
I hope things are starting to look up for you. Or, at the very least, getting easier. Sincerely, take care brother.
So as a musician, I listened. The Sax harkens back to a time in the seventies when that type of sax was prevalent. The song had a "Thank you for the music" ABBA-like feel to it. And to be fair, that's a great song to be compared to. You have amazing harmonies as two sisters, and your music is divine. Keep at what you do.
Nice work, Sort of Ghost-like (Skeleta) chord Structure in the beginning, Bassnectar when they remixed Reign in Blood. And we get Bro-Step, such an economy of genres. All seriousness, this is a great put-together tune. Ticks off a lot of positive boxes. You get a Fav!
Thank you Stevee!
Our band guitarist makes some experimentations on the guitar tuning and I'm always there in the back to steal those things ... :-)
Fistbump,
Danke
Very Interesting. I would like to hear what the result of this becomes. Do you have mastering software? I would love to separate the instruments more in the mix. Nice work. keep at this one!
Thanks Crucethus! I just use what is stock in ableton, if I add to this I'll do a proper mix down and adjust the levels a bit. I wanted this one to be quiet and more somber, hence the relatively tame wavform. Thank you for the listen and suggestion!
Such a nice Chord Structure. There is a synth you introduced that almost has the feel of a muted bagpipe. That's Brilliant, mate. Added to my Fav's. Really good work, I enjoyed that a lot tonight.
Allo, Manuela et Angelica. I love Minor keys and exploring them. 132BPM is a nice pace for something Danceable. I will Download it and get around to it with my new sense of Vigor. Unfortunately, We lost my 88 yr old Father this morning as he passed peacefully in his sleep. This and my mother's passing last January have been a large reason why I have had difficulty composing recently. It weighs heavily on my heart. But he passed peacefully as I suspect all of us would want to go (In our sleep). I may take some time with this but I am hearing something interesting in my head, and not as disjointed as my last attempt at your Vocals. I kind of feel a kindredness to this tune. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2k5TwoHtKU
Hello my friend, I know how painful and overwhelming it can be to lose a loved one. It would be too simple to say that time heals the wound caused by their passing. I believe it is so important to hold the person youve lost close in your heart and create a picture in your mind that truly reflects who they were. When you think of them, let it be with warmth, comfort, and the love they radiated. Keep this picture alive! Sending you warm regards and my heartfelt sympathy, Manuela
P.S.: The song from the link is beautiful. Wonderful lyrics!
Manuela has a point. I don't make my music to make $$$, I make the music I want to hear. Is that the right approach? IDK. But it's my approach. If you like my music. Great, If you Don't. So be it, art is subjective. If I make some money from it. Great. If I don't. I have songs I like to listen to and make me happy. Music will never be the thing that makes me compromise in my life. That's what my Day job is for. And to be honest, I get to be creative in that as well. But you my friend ...we see eye to eye on the dark stuff. I enjoy your music and creativity, and look forwards to hearing new stuff from yah.
It absolutely IS the right approach. That's why my original tagline here was "I'm here to get good, not famous". Admittedly, it would be nice to make enough money with it to be able quit my day job, but either way, it brings me joy, so, meh...whatev's. I'm good.
Yeah, we do see eye to eye on the dark stuff. Our approach to making it are two completely different methods, though. Yours has always been a lurking darkness brilliantly hidden behind brighter elements. It's there, you know it's there, but you can't pinpoint it creating a certain level of unease. Mine, well, it's just right there.
I have a few new things posted that I don't think you've heard. Drip Christ is one of them. I think my darkest, and most raw, aggressive yet. Check it out if you get the time.
Always good to hear from you, brother.
Take care.
