on Whenever Your Around - Jill Scott Cover - UPDATE by Mykael
Wow, I commented on this one 8 years ago! (I feel old) I love how you have improved the vocal mix mate! Your voice is like a comfortable couch that after a long day at work you just want to fall into and be comforted. And of course with a Martini. ;-) We should do something together one day ehh? Great job, love to hear the evolution.

My First records as a kid were Bee Gees albums that my sis bought me. I love your take on this cover.

Thanks cru!

I remember their songs as a young child on the radio and singing along. They were always having hits played on radio as I grew up until they all started dying. I do like their earlier music tho.

on NuGroove Featuring BaoBou Remastered by kingmt77
Nice filtered intro. cool entrance. love the g-tar, cute synth underneath then the organ with that brass is sublime. Cool Mix. percussion add-ons are a treat, this is a masterclass. After that old school synth solo, the guitar tone was awesome. was it a vst amp? Cool waka wakas at the end, and then gone. I like that ending. great job as usual.

on Dreams In The Hangar by StarTravels
Ahh, guys, you need an animated video for this one. I love that Bass, nice impact to lead to the eighties synth brass stabs., cool percussion, and a really nice slap bass with some well-phased pads. I hear Micky's voice nicely ethereal-like. This is a cool track mates.

on Aguai zua -A song on women empowerment by Mayuriraj1302
Beautiful Song. The Mix and Mastering are spectacular and such a nice melange of Assamese spirit using the pentatonic scale with the electronic but in a very tasteful way. Which do you prefer, Borgeet, or Ojapali?
Mayuriraj1302
Mayuriraj1302 replied 9th Aug 2022 - 3 years ago
Wow, I am so glad to read your comment and to know about your knowledge of Assamese music. I prefer Borgeet as I have received a national scholarship in Borgeet and have little more knowledge than Ojapali. please connect on my email id mentioned in my profile.

on EndLessLoop by Jynxz
Wow, what an intro. The time sig choices you have made, have enabled my head to twitch for a few minutes, but I got over it as the song settled in with that piano and some cool spatial sounds giving you that acid-like experience sort of like Mushroom does. This is a very well-creative composition you have made. I had to listen twice, fav'd
Jynxz
Jynxz replied 7th Aug 2022 - 3 years ago
I was pretty sure you would be disappointed with this old track. I can't believe you survived listening to it twice.:-)

Your Fave means a lot to me Cru.

Perhaps I can disappoint you with my next track. It's guaranteed to be "Craptacular" LOL

on Millenium by Danke
Cool Mate. I like how the early part has a Drudge or Sledge metal feel to it. But it builds and ebbs, so cool mate! 2:00 on is a nice tone on the high to mid-high rage. love the double bass drums after that section.
Danke
Danke replied 31st Jul 2022 - 3 years ago
We thank you Steve!

This recording is the result of polished studio work ... obviously we play much rougher and dirtier live than this ... and a completely different kind of metal ... I'll show you:

The "Neanderthal" has the right idea! I love those two guys from Striking Daggers, they have been good sources of info from the Hip Hop World. That being said, this is freaking insane and freaking awesome mate. Did Shatner just say scuse me while I kiss this (guy) I mean sky...!!!!! Great mix, and very creative, nice work!

on Walk Away by nyd868
Very cool, I respectfully disagree with my esteemed friend Danke, I like that synth solo sound, but then again I am a synth player and may have a bias, and have done squelched sounds like that in the past. Overall a nice chill tune, well done!

on Twilight by Zootman
There is an eno-esque quality about this one from two eras. His early Evening Star, but also "An Ending Ascent".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VC6FEfQaO0

You kind of melded the aesthetic of both works!
good work a pleasant journey

Pretty hard to do ambient and not reference Brian Eno (One Brain) in some way. Thanks for the links, I listened to both, wasn't familiar with either though I have listened to a reasonable amount of Eno's ambient stuff (Ambient 4 and Before/After Science) were a bit of a fav. Thanks for the listen and commented man, much appreciated.

on MeMyself AndI ish by Jynxz
I think you were baiting all of us with your master guitar and synth playing ;-). This sounds like a fun jam that you did. I used to do stuff like that back in the day for practice and sometimes those jams could turn into songs. Whether you were manually overriding the sounds or Lone rangering the drum parts. I mean playing all those instruments you were literally playing five on one and taking the self guided tour. All you needed was a singing soprano you old downstairs DJ. ;-)
Jynxz
Jynxz replied 6th Jul 2022 - 3 years ago
What's up Cru,

You're right, this is kind of a Jam session with Myself.
I think every now and then we should just "let er rip".
for instance I would have enjoyed a whole track of the Guitar
that you did on your last track but... You sprinkled teasers
of the Guitar throughout the track (Cool & tasteful). I wondered how some of your Guitar takes that didn't appear on the track sounded, awesome I'm sure.
Thanks for giving my track a listen and for your continued encouraging comments.

PEACE from the Southeast...
