I haven't seen the new movie yet, I have seen the previous film. This is a very cool production, certainly suites the first one and sure it works for the new one too. Great emotion and tension throughout the track, the arrangement lets it build and fall and tells quite a story.

Now I can't wait to see the new one!

Neat track. Mix sounds pretty clear, sounded good. Kept stopping during playback, not sure why, my internet connection, site updates, i dunno. Good trippy stoner music...man. he Like others mentioned I liked the piano intro too, nice buildup. Familiar style and instrument choices that separates your music from others.

Good music to listen to when I do a painting to or a chore, rhythmic and abstract and interesting to let the mind wander. World music sorta, kinda, a bit...

I watched all the seasons of Gold Rush, found it interesting, learned a lot. I'm not remembering the theme song being quite like this. ;) It's fun when you start with a plan and you end up with something totally different. I paint too and sometimes the peaceful meadow landscape scene in my mind turns into a bustling cityscapes, he. To me, that is the wonder and surprise of being creative and letting yourself take chances, letting the music or artistic endeavor take you in a certain direction rather than force it to go where you want it to go.

I give people a lot of credit who use loops and can create real interesting and unique pieces of music out of them. I thought the track was as good as any other electronic or loop based songs here. I'm not well versed in dance music so I can't get all technical with you about that but I thought this was pretty good. Sounds like something I would hear in an 80's Eddie Murphy movie, it has a cinematic aspect to it, in my opinion.

Not enough guitar music on the loop these days so this is a cool rockin' track to fill the void here. I read your reply to Neo about how certain movie soundtracks like the ones you mentioned influenced you. I totally get what you are saying about music in those flicks. The song Sabotage by the Beastie Boys in the first Star Trek film(in the new series)when the young Kirk steals the convertible car and takes it on a joyride, I was so pumped when that song started! lol Harold and Maude, A Nightmare Before Christmas both have music in them that I enjoy hearing as much as I like to watch the movie. Too many to mention with great meaningful soundtracks.

The song rocks, nice tone on the git, thick and meaty. I think this idea has a cinematic aspect to it, has a passage of time feeling to it to me. Mix sounds pretty darn good as well!

Yup, I concur with all the comments so far. Wonderful concept going with a classical approach and what you've done so far would be considered a final project to most people. Can't wait to hear it finished! Maybe some timpani drums, you can never have enough of them! lol

To me this genre suites you and the loop misses your contributions in this style of music. Some very cool effect and vocoded vocals. With my early morning coffee kicking in and this music playing almost makes me want to pick up around here and do some cleaning. Almost! lol

Nice practice recording Domenico, we miss you're music around here! I like the song, it reminds me of a song from the 90's and like Spiv I can't put my finger on it. That must mean it has a professional sound, the real deal.

I've been down my friends house recording his band live a few times. His room is an echo chamber so the drums are big and lost, they sound awful when we record them. We use a set of mics designed for the small kit using 3 mics, one at the kick, one under the ride/above floor tom, one near the snare/hihat/crash. How important to you is making the rehearsal space sound proofed and a bit dead sounding to get the drums better? Any help would be appreciated!

From reading all the comments, this track has gone through several changes in it's short life. Good to see your spirit rising to work out any issues and make your productions better. I lack that quality, lol.

I like the idea and feel of the song. There is something to this idea. I often tend to do a lot of shorter compositions by taking an interesting idea and doing a 1-2 min musical treatment rather than a full length track. It keeps from repeating loops and musical phrases, I can add leads, pads, rhythm instruments just like any long song and the listener can get in and out quickly and hear interesting things all through the short but full production song. Plus you don't spend hours mixing many verses and chorus parts, bridges and all that and get all the benefits of learning production skills as you do it. I feel maybe if you took this approach here it might benefit the idea. Take the cool riffs and changes, sounds and any midi instruments and effects and rearrange it but shorten it up. Just my 2 cents. :)

Cool, dark themed song, certainly with lots of energy. Club music for ghouls and creatures that lurk in scary places on Halloween. A monstrously good listen! Makes me want to go trick, no treats this year!

This genre is certainly not something I usually listen to but I give all the music here a listen. Gotta say this was fun and well worth playing a few times!

To me, to get in and out of a complete musical idea in under a minute or two is fun to do. A lot can be done in such a short time, you can tell a story even. Distinctive arrangement parts with different musical feels and textures in each part make it a neat track, even if it's 1:10 long. This would be cool for an animation short!

Your unique approach to your music along side your poetry, voice and use of effects is very cool. Female vox add another layer and fit the song well. The parts without the drums were very dramatic, the stabs set an imposing vibe. The parts with the drums come alive creating great dynamics. Powerful song overall, gave it several listens, nice creation!

This is great, the sax is awesome(great reverb) and the entire song was a pleasure all the way through, totally enjoyed it! It's early in the morning here and what a way to get my day going. :) I'm not familiar with the original so to me this was something new and cool.

The electronic synths and sounds were interesting, made me stop and listen as to how they worked with the more organic sax. No complaints, just smiles!

Sounds good enough to me to be in a sci-fi movie. Very dramatic piece of music. Emotional highs and lows as the music changes and evolves.

Great build up at the beginning like something big and menacing was approaching. Then the big clash as the music gets more intense and builds. The ending seemed to resolve the crisis and some hopeful sounding piano sends the message of renewal and peace! The music tells a great story!

I really like the changes in the song, good dynamics. At the beginning and again at 1:47 I liked the organ that gets louder. Wished the vocals were a bit louder in the mix, they were quite good. Catchy electronic pop song, very radio friendly sound!

Great atmosphere you created, drew me in immediately. For someone who likes short, to the point musical ideas, I kinda wished this one was longer. World music feel, cinematic for sure and sets the mind on a journey, although a shorter one than I wanted.

I did like the upbeat change at around 1:40, unexpected and appreciated. Gave the song a cool lift, Some big boomy sub bass, my rokit 8's were sounding big!

Cool transition at 3:30 with the "glass bells", if I could call them that. The cello is cool in places, I'm not a nut for it generally speaking but can appreciate all the work you are putting into learning to play it. My friend Jim plays the stand up bass and he is taking orchestra classes this summer to learn to bow and also learning to read music. He is excited to learn but says it's tough.

Cool chillout track, I'd listen to this while painting, good music to let the mind wander and explore new creative ideas. Mix sounds good, nice job!

Very cool! I lived outside Boston and weekdays they had a 4 hour reggae show(and all it's associated genres) that I used to listen to. Music like this was thrown in the mix and this brings me back to those days, good times. Great vocal track and I liked the percussion too.

I couldn't tell you one thing about dancehall but good music is good music. Surprised this doesn't have more comments.

This one is quite easy on the ears Bob, what a peaceful and enjoyable trip I just took in the span of a few minutes. Even mix all around, no complaints or suggestions. Eb is a nice key. The rise around 1:35 was a good transition. It's chillin' me out but my morning coffee is fighting it in a bad way!;)
