Rapper reminds me of Eminem.I like the beat also, very chill vibe. You could put some vocalist to fill in the empty spaces or use the same one, but honestly the beat itself is pretty entertaining.

You know, I didn't even look at the genre when pressing play, and it was funny because I was hearing circa 2009-2010 hip hop until I looked. However I do understand your choice here. The sax was killer, and the mix sounded very good! I'm not even sure what is going on with dub, since my real influences in the genre were all back when the lines were blurred between reggae, punk, and ska. I don't know if that is the case anymore. Very cool sound here though!

    Hello Spivkurl,

each time i read you i discover some common ground with you! Last time it was cure!

you can't imagine how i'm happy to see you like ska, reggae or punk. I tried to do a ska track but without any claim of course :)

About your comment on my track: you're right, the sax brings shine in the sound. When i started to work on this track, i was playing my bass guitar in my home studio and i was looking for a bassline without any idea of genre. Suddenly, when notes were linked, i realised that i needed to go in the dub direction.
I was looking for voices sample to add in the track whan i discover Ade1980. I listened his flow (i didn't understand all the words) and i said: wow, that's incredible! i must try it with dub.

I'm really happy to see that you liked the track, it's always a pleasure to read you and you're welcome :)

Right off I'll tell you, Dub is not something I ever will seek out, but figured I'd give you a listen. This is really very good. Everything is clear as hell and there are no cheap feeling sounds. Too short, but man I really enjoyed this track. Vocals are clear and not negative, and for some reason made me think a bit of Ed Sheeran in the phrasing.

Really, some of the more professional sounding stuff I've heard here. Good stuff!

    Take care.

Wow!! all these kind words honor me! thank you very much Evan!
It's all the more pleasant as on the base you tell not to be a follower of this musical genre!

I think that Ad1980 (the rapper) will be proud to be compared to Ed Sheeran!

    thanks a lot Evan!

Catchy track, by the end I was all in! Cool effects on the vocals. Classic sounding keys. Plenty of space in the track, nothing is cluttered and everything shines through. Well done Bleep!

I'm french and sometimes i don't catch the meaning of ideas. Here, i don't understand "plenty of space"... like silences?

    Anyway, thank you again :)

Hi man. Really like the flow and the feel of this track. You've given the vox some great grooves to play over. That sax is fantastic. I'd personally add some pads to fill the empty spaces, but that is just personal taste. It's beautifully arranged either way and a joy to listen to.

    Very much enjoyed.

Description : Here is my most recent song, and one which I considered keeping under wraps until my album was released. With the Halloween thread, I thought this may be a chance to raise up the "funny ha ha" or "funny strange" vibe, and tuck under the nervous laughter. It was not made for this holiday or the related thread, but simply to express something which I think about regularly. I'm sure you'll get the impression!

Any masking, distortion or cross modulation is entirely intentional. This is, after all, intentional electronic brain manipulation.

Description : Here is my initial contribution to the Loop Challenge started by FreeRadical. Here's the thread; https://www.looperman.com/forum/thread/182711/loop-challenge Thanks to him and all that are getting involved! The full quality wave version is available here https://soundcloud.com/spivkurl/breaking-blue-16-master-c

I used all three loops given to me by M8TN -

https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/6081

https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/4356

https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/57619

All three were made by the excellent MrRobot! I ended up using this track as an opportunity to try out the Parallel Killer Guitar that I finished putting together not long ago. These are amongst the first recordings of the guitar. So I guess this turned out like what I would call "hard dub" or maybe it's just dub-glitch... totally not dubstep...heh. I was going for a tape recorded feel on this one for the most part. Hope you enjoy it!

Description : Here is the long overdue "culmination" of a collaboration between Promenade2239 and myself. Not too long ago he uploaded an inspiring finished version based on this song idea, and it is located here... https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/171320

Included here is Promenade on synthesizers and samples, as well as quite a bit of rhythmic, vocal and arrangement manipulation. The vocals and guitars (classical and electric) were recorded by me, and I did some synthesis and the initial drum loops.

We spent a lot of time and effort developing the idea together. This became especially apparent when I gathered all of the stems I wished to incorporate into this version, and they totalled 85! All in all, it was an extremely valuable experience for me, and I learned so many things (even about myself).

Please leave your comments if you have any, and I will try to reply as I get caught up! Thank you for listening!
