They both have their perks, but I'd have to say I like FL better. Logic is very good when it comes to sounding as professional as possible and they do a good job of making sure everything is readily available to you, but, from someone who knows FL like the back of their hand, getting to understand exactly where everything is gets a little tricky.
In my experience, I would prefer FL Studio over Logic.
Very good question! Can't wait to hear more of your work! :D
Love the wave-y intro! Hooks me up to listen up to the last bit.
The percussion is mixed and mastered well. The synths fit well to the whole track. Those chords are so smooth, and it goes well with the hats. The rise is cool and lit. That filter cutoff is well made! As well as it transitions to the drop itself. Neatly done and your track is a well mixed single!
But seriously, the drop was fucking good and those wobbles hit the floor hard. Your track has a LOT of potential. The vocal chops were amazing I must say.
I like the detail of the track. The pingpong effect on the start captivated and hookes me up to the song, which is very nice! The beat and the chords are so good, it gives me positive vibes. Anyone can jump into this. The rise gives very good transition also. I'm guessing this will be a rave track? I was hoping for the drop xD
Your track deserves to be published with a label, so nice track and keep on mixing!
Cheers
thank you very much! It will be a club banger incl. drop lol. I've changed some things, imo it sounds a little tó friendly here. The track will come out very soon. Finishing touches on mixing/mastering.
- Wobbin
Nice 8-bit-ish tune with some cute little finky wobbles in the intro till the rest of the track! Your vocals fit so well and the style and format used is so clean and really attractive. Really cool and unique sounds that I usually not hear!
You never fail to suprise the whole community, cheers!
Rhythmic percussions makes me dance xD
I wish I could do that too...
The vocals fit well, and the little bit of middle eastern guitars and drums fits the theme of the vocals xD
A mix of natural and electronically made instruments are well made!
When the vocals started, I thought there was an Ad playing on my other tabs xD
Nice bar lines, I really wanna go out and find some awesome rap bars like on this one!
And damn! The beat dropped hard on this one! The fast percussions, wobbles, growls and those sick beats really makes me enjoy it. It's a VIP, so this would surpass anyone's expectation
Thanks, the bars are from the Here It Comes sample trap soundpool for MAGIX. I used some of them in the original Raster so I decided to center the VIP song around the full selection.
I was inspired a little by All Is Fair In Love And Brostep for the structure of the vocals and how they're arranged.
It gives me the feel of going home. I feel like I'm home, from all the adventures and hardships you've been through, through the friends and enemies you've encountered, it's like your time to go home. Relaxing, soothing, and very remarkable. I imagine myself riding on a roofless car, staring at the green fields in the afternoon whilst going home.
Very great track! The piano makes me jealous since (is it live recorded?) I can't really achieve that piece of excellent work at this time :/
Thanks for stopping by and taking a a listen and review. Appreciated. I agree when I listen to this with no one around talking I never know where I end up in thought. If you go to my website I have this as a free download until the end of the month. Again Thanks! Filaofsoul
This is the type of song that I very like. The tune and the synths used is so perfect, that it should be displayed on so many labels. The track deserves popularity.
Going on the meaning part, for me it's like you're chasing someone you want to be (and thats the shadow), you keep trying but then people would try to discourage you. Some would support you but you already know that it's only you that can change what you want to change and be what you wanna be. It's like going through depression, emotions, deep drama, and stress so that you could achieve the dream you've always thought about. It's been an experience even though I'm still young. I may not have experienced much more pain than the guys older than me, but I do know how it feels for them knowing that I've talked to much more people with the same anxiety, depression, and the pain they're going through. If you still read this part of my essay, well thanks xD
A very remarkable track I must say. The top one in my favorite tracks on looperman.
Thank you so much 2D2R, first off I am glad you think so highly of what I produce. Also, I love the analysis you wrote up for this track, it is very compelling and deep. In truth it is a failed love story XD Instead of someone chasing after a guy or girl they are chasing a shadow. In their eyes they see a real life human being with soul and character. But in truth you are only chasing a shadow, never to be caught. It is kind of a sad story really, but the uplifting synths represent that chase and the rush you can get when pursuing what you want, but in the end everything disappears in the wind.
I have to admit, the piano chords in the start told me it's going to be an awesome song. And sadly for me, this is the effect I'm trying to discover (that intro piano part).
The track gives a sci-fi feel for the vocals. I agree with Dennel, the track has a great mix between Trance and House!
The piano was a bitch to get sounding right. I had to fuck around with the note volumes for quite a while to get it sounding how it is. Thanks for the encouraging words man. I appreciate it
It's cute in the start. As it goes longer, it gets catchy, and very enjoyable. That little xylophone like music box is very nice I must say. There's nothing wrong for me, since I rarely listen to Chillsteps but upon hearing this, it gives me more positive insights about it.
Thanks, and CHEERS
Thanks 2d2R! Glad you enjoyed this track. I agree, I too enjoyed the music box like sound. I'm happy this track gave off positive vibes. Its always great to know that.
I like it's "Chaos" feel, which commonly dubsteps are pretty much is. Those vocal chops fits in perfectly! Those drums are also good, like those snares makes me eargazm (O_O)
Cool wobbles, and very nice growls!
Godamn when I played, the intro really hooked me up!
Those vocals shouting "HEY" is really good! Those growls and damn those wobbles!
I wouldn't say it's simple, for me, it would be complex, in a very good way!
This is a very neat track, since I was a fan of Dubstep!
Cheers!
(This some A-Class shiz right there :3)
God damn! I love the DRUMS and how the bass mixes with it! The growls and the drop is so satisfying that it gives me the eargazm xD
Anyway, for me, criticisms are not really needed but all I have to say is that there's no cooldown or whatever. It's like too "continous" if you know what I meant.
Awesome track! The creativity in this track is overwhelming! Adding the vocals of both father and daughter mixes very well to the track!
I admire your imagination, and your professionalism.
--The crashes are a bit noisy though--
By the track you have created, you have perfected and have truly depicted the true meaning and to whom the track is dedicated to, and I applause to that!
Cheers my friend! This track can also be used in documentaries, exploration movies, and such in my perspective.
yes mate it is dvs :) its the best "raw sounding" sax ive come across which allows decent effecting upon it ;) lol the vocals are saying "get your fucking hands off" chipmunk style lol :) thx for checking it out mate!!!
