on Post War Etude by Orlando51
Nice little post war etude :)
You play the guitar, like always, very well my friend. Very nice stuff. Dreamy and in a way chilly. I like the last part of the second part most but all the others are also really good for sure.
Just for a little practicing it is really cool stuff and the mix sounds very well.

Nice work here! I enjoyed the listening.

on LEAVING MOTOWN by Planetjazzbass
This is very cool stuff Dave.
Nice groove dynamics and kind off chilly bass. Very well played and mixed.
The solo part is a bit funny kind of soul music :) and like someone said before - the brass is a little strange but in a way also very cool (cause it is just like something that says hey i am a vst but have all the rights to be in a modern soul like song) :) The trumpet is excellent, same the sax. Really nice work and very good to relax and enjoy.

great track!

Hey Joe, thanks man!..yeah I was arranging this to suit the impressions I had of James Jamerson and it never was meant to be a straight soul tune, though I did try and squeeze it into a soul cake tin, what came out of the oven was indeed a little weird! thanks for taking the time to listen mate...cheers Dave :)

on Come And Find Me After Death by DijamMusic
Hello Jamid
This is a really nice piece of music and i enjoyed the listen very much.
Beside this philosophic thing around it, it is an extremely cool one. I love the way all this well sounding sounds work together. You have a hand for nice productions and music writing for sure.
Maybe we came out of the nothing and go back into the nothing. Or we was something befor and being something later, who knows and who cares?
In the now we can create.
And you done it, with this one here, really well.
Really good work my friend!!

on Upwelling Ice by Burtsbluesboxes
Very well done Burt
This is truely something in a style i love.
And it cries in me ears for some deep dark and warm vocals.
the sound of your new CBG creation is excellent.
We should do something in this style when we do our next collab

I definitely want to record more like this. I'll send you the stems for this to play with, I was thinking vocals be cool addition. In the next few days I'll try and get more recordings done as well. My newest one I need to change the bridge to a thinner bolt to lower the action, works great for slide but I get sharp notes when fretting them. Watch for some stems :p

on 8 000 BC by Anubis
This is truely very cinematic music.
And i bet it put many different movies into the heads of all the listeners.
The flute sounds with this wild drums gives some kind of animalistic tribes power and i really enjoyed that. Everything here sounds wild and dangerous and deep deep green.
Great sounds for sure and a well made mix.

I really enjoyed the listen!

Hey, my friend.

"The flute sounds with this wild drums gives some kind of animalistic tribes power and I really enjoyed that."

The interesting thing is how these tools get along well with each other.
Smooth of the flutes and the heavy of the drums, is something very cool to merge.
This song was on a low bpm, I'm testing other tracks with bpm faster, they seem to work fine too.

Thank you for leaving your thoughts.

on LITTLE DREAD by Planetjazzbass
Sehr schön!
Yeah this is great. Really like this old style reggae mixed with the ethno and jazzy things. The sound is really well and the same can be said to the play skill.
This was a pleasure to listen to. I bet that this one is something where a talented singer could do some nice vocals on.

A really good reggae song.

on Writing In The Reverse by 7landsmusic
Great one.
To bad that you think you should stop make music, cause it is really like swindla said. If you need something beside the stress you should relax in makeing music. No need for recording anything :)
Hopefully you will get all you need for a great life and so i wish all the best in the next month.
Then come back and show us what cool music a man with a real good life do create.

Wuha!
Great sound and very nice dynamic.
The mix is really good. I really like what you done here. This tune is so powerful and in a way agressive that it goes straight into the body.

Good to have you back on Looperman.

We never seen us before, cause i came here when you already had left the house. But when i looked the first times on the loop section i found some really great stuff there made by yours. I made a track with them and some people told me that a guy called Anubis would like what i had done but like already said i never meet you. Would be nice if you check it out

Hey
Thank you for taking the time to listen to this song, your words are appreciated.
Soon I will be posting new loops and songs.
Actually, I ran out of time, and for almost 3 years I did not visit the site to keep up with the news.
I left a message on your track, and once again, thank you for supporting.
joecramer
:) Hey DJ The Observer
This is in a way cool. I like the real aggressive power of this track. No time to dream or sit still in the corner.
If you found now someone like H.P.Baxter to sing (or lets better say scream) to it, then you would have a really wild tune to fill up the dance floor. Cause the song crys - Jump, jump jump jump jump jump jump ......

I enjoyed the wild listen!

on Music of Drama by Darknives
I saw myself driving thru the night.
Great one for sure! Only thing i found bad was that it has an end :) could listen to this much much longer for sure.
Sounds, samples, FX and all is really well made and the mix has some real nice breaks and fine melodies. The mastering is also very fine made work.
I have to say that this one was a real pleasure to listen to.

Well done.

on FiveCar SmileUp by Spivkurl
Hello Spivkurl,
this sounds really like -back in time-
If i had heard this one in the beginning of the 80's i bet that it would played by many of my friends and me very often and very loud.
This tune has this special feeling of a need for changes on so many levels in the system. The vocals/lyrics is a kind of a war cry against everything and all. That is something i really love.
Very wild, very free and sure very unique.
Good to know that this kind of revolution against -normality- is still alive! The fact that you played it all live brings all a level higher......

Really great stuff. And with the words of -die Antwoord- i have to say:
I fink u freeky but i really like it!

Joe, thank you for your kind words! It seems like you definitely understand where I was coming from while recording this song. Seems that I can always count on you for support, and I appreciate that! "This tune has this special feeling of a need for changes on so many levels in the system." - That really said it all for me, as this "need" is part of all of my days. Life has become so strange and artificial feeling... I can't even imagine how much worse it is in a larger city! I will continue to work (too) hard, in my own (small) way to change things for the better. I just can't seem to get this experience of a convergence of energy from DAW based work lately... and computers are starting to just be an annoyance in general, at least much of the time. Stay tuned for something off my cassette EP, hopefully later today! Thanks much!

on Visions Of Sorrow by Crypt
Yo, this is really 80's stuff.
I am a child of the 80's but i never was a friend of this mostly main stream sound back in that days. But with getting older i start to look more friendly on music from that days and you really got everything it need to bring people into this special feeling.
Very well done and if you found a singer you will have something really great!!

I enjoyed the listen

Thanks a lot for your words Joe! I've always liked the style but generally I make more..."evil" sounding music. I wanted to do something outside of my usual sound and figured this would be a nice challenge to my writing.

Nice one. Very trippy and hypnotic beat.
Cool rap also. Nice work with mixing and mastering.
I really enjoyed the listen.
Something without any deep meaning from my side is that there are some samples that ends with a little click sound. Maybe it is just what you wanted to do that way or it is from the downmix .... who cares really :)
But i really like what you done here!

well - that video blows me away in all respects. One thing I noticed in the very first part were some one-shots - that is what I think this track needs - little hits here and there to create more ambience, more story. But anyway - thanks Joe. Glad you had a chance to listen to this. Please do stop by the site at the link I shared and see if you like one of the art pieces for Halloween. I'm sure Burt will be up to collab on something, as would I. Regards - Dan
