I've heard on Tv about those terrible things that happened, but those who did it will be defeated in the end and the light of humanity will prevail, and so your piece of music shows alot of optimism for the future. Very nicely done!:)

Wow...Looperman obviously has it's share of ladies who rock, mostly thanks to you Elena. This one is a stunner and you're undobtedly wrong when saying this is one of your good works...no,no...it's much more than good...it's pretty darn excellent!:) Adventourous mix of electronics and
fully energetic electric guitars is a winner ticket here ! Do you play all those guitars? They sound punchy and merciless! Excellent work !

Thanks for dropping by friend! I am glad you like it. Took a long time to start up FL Studio again with some fresh ideas. Sometimes you just have to hold a break instead of proceed with 'forced' tracks. I am happy to be back now!

on Overmyth I - Inception Of The Truth by ValveDriver
Wow...Aaron, this must be one of your best works if not the best! To achieve such an acomplished sound only with vst's is just incredible! This is beyond any doubt class A metal stuff, so masterfully arranged and produced and the most important it also shows ValveDriver's recognisable identity. I would download this if i could...so the only thing that's left is giving this a FAV...and it's a big one and well deserved !

Orlando! How are you?

That's some pretty high praise, my friend. I thank you for that!

I think you may be right about it being one of my best yet. I really like the way this one turned out. Which is a good thing. This is the first track of the Overmyth Trilogy. It would have sucked if I didn't like it!

I'm glad the ValveDriver calling card sound is still present. I was afraid it may have gotten lost in the lack of synths.

Again, sir, I thank you for your kind words!

Skol!

on Come And Find Me After Death by DijamMusic
Who knows, my friend...not an easy one to say but if there's life after death, what's the point of death then? And on the other hand I don't think that the energy by itself makes a consciousness. Yet nothing is certain and maybe we meet beyond this reality one day...somewhere...with wine and music ofcourse...and maybe in company of some nice ladies..haha!
And this piece of music is very fine one...somehow mysterious and tense...fits the subject matter very well...so yeah, very cool work again
my friend and I'm very happy to see you in highly productive phase...

Hello Orrie,
Thank you very much for your wonderful feedback and the enlightening thoughts.
I find it very interesting and I do hope that we will meet after our death.
Otherwise as Pete said “What is our agenda for living.”
According to our scientific community
The experiment raises difficult questions about when someone is dead and therefore when it is medically and ethically correct to use them for organ donation.
As many as a fifth of people who survive cardiac arrests report having had an other-worldly experience while being 'clinically' dead.
However, scientists say it's far too early to be talking about what this could mean for the post-death experience - especially considering it was only seen in one patient, according to Science Alert.

Mate I really like to thank you for the fav’s too

on Onward Toward Golgotha by ValveDriver
And so, the one and only master of dark industrial atmosphere is back in full form. What a treat! This really attacks all the senses...attacks physical body even. Constantly threatening tones and merciless brutality
is not a joke...and it's done and executed brilliantly...just the way
we've all been used to get the lesson from Valve Driver. I hope this
masterpiece forecasts much more to come...Excellent!

Orlando, Hello!

First of all, thank you for checking this one out. I know it's not exactly your kind of music, so it means a lot that you did.

There is definitely more to come. Some will be like this one, some will be straight up heavy metal, and there's even a few that I don't know what the hell you'd call it. Just....Valvedriver.

Take care, my friend. I hope life is treating you well.

on Skyscaper by StaticNomad
I was pretty surprised when I saw in description there's no guitar there,
cause some sounds appear quite guitarish and it's amazing you achieve it
with other instruments. You do wonders with that cello thing...it's truly
fantastic and it blends very well within the whole sound picture. by the way, if I may ask, which violin vst do you use?...sounds cool as well !
Well done mate and thanks for uploading !:)

StaticNomad replied 21st Feb 2017 - 9 years ago
Hi.

Yes,I know a lot of people will find it hard to believe that there's no guitar in this but it's true. That's what guitar distortion does - it fools you into thinking that what is being put through it is a guitar. Just because that sort of distortion is so closely associated with guitar.

The violin VST is just a patch that you'll find in Propellerheads' Reason DAW. So, not a violin VST you can buy for use in other software. I've used it in so many tracks. Could be as many as 40!

"You do wonders with that cello thing"

Cello thing? It's just a cello - an electric rather than acoustic one. I have to do wonders with it as there's not much other instrumentation in here though there is a rather cool organ that perhaps no one has yet noticed that arrives at 2:14.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Wow Burt...swampy as it gets! The cinematic opening puts me right there in the center. Fantastic environmental effects....everything is so real!
Guitars are splendid again even though I would put them a tad lower in the mix, particularly the main one, but that's just personal preference and so it's no big deal....all in all fabulous work and production !

Real field recordings used from freesound, I love how it puts you right there while safely NOT there hahaha! Yeah that lead is a tad too loud, I'll have to adjust that. I'm going to make a better video instead of just a still frame picture. Loving this swampy slide guitar playing, never got it down on a six string. Thanks Orlando :D Watch out for those man eating leaches! They'll suck you dry if the mosquitoes don't carry you off first!
