Description : So... I incorporated the early synth treatments of Talk Talk, With the Duran Duran sounds on Rio. The distorted vox is the depressed voice, and the Clean Vox is the outward shell many of us present even if underneath we feel like shit. Very rarely do I sing, but I tried to use the distorted sound under the clean sound as sort of a counterpoint, weak (often out of key, depressed voice), While Showcasing the veneer we tend to present daily to each other.

Hello crucethus, out of my usual genres but on occasion I like to check out other works, love the guitars and vocals are pretty solid.....very good rock sound as well. This reminds me a little of the Duran Duran sound, very good track.
BRILLIANT Steve!
Those changes between minor and major parts are fantastic. Distorted sound of yours is outstanding as thee instrumental solo part.
Huge progrock!
Thanx for the upload, faved of course.
Hats off,
Danke
Thank you so much, I love being able to add my influences with a modern production sound. But at the end of the day I just like making music I like to listen to (Call me selfish ehh!)
Great track. A real mixing pot of genres, which keeps it interesting. I'm hearing bits of classic rock guitar, drums and synths reminded me of Massive Attack at times and I loved the distorted vocals, had a hint of Trent Reznor/NIN with the vocal delivery. You should sing more. This is a great song.
I liked it from the beginning, and it hasn't diminished throughout. To my ears, it's very well produced, and while I recognize the influences, I still see it as a standalone work. You have something to say and you execute it artistically very well. I find things like that difficult, which is why I don't even attempt it, but you clearly succeed. Aside from the message, it's simply a beautiful piece of music. Do you play those guitars yourself? Hats off, man!
Thank you so much, Mickey. I wish I could play Guitar like that, but I come close with my Synths, and a Nice Roland Me-30 Guiar Processor. Been doing that since 98!
Amazing track, with beautiful vocals (you should sing, it's a singers voice), great drum work, the synths, that awesome guitar solo. Overall as I already wrote, sn amazing track.
Best regards, Anthony
Zoot said that you should use your voice more. I agree. It's like Dave Gahan had a kid with SImon Le Bon, and then sent it to grow up with Richard Patrick.
I had completely forgotten about Talk Talk. I was never that deep into them, but I never complained when they would come on. However, Rio is a great album! You were right to use them for influence. This track has a great mix of the 80s/early 90s sound. Listening again, I'm willing to guess there's some influence from Uncle Al J. via the Twitch era, too.
I like this, man. I'd love to hear more from you like it.
Definitely going into the fav's for sure.
Take care, mister.
Aaron.
Aye mate! Talk Talk burned through New Wave synth to eventually create this thing called Post Rock. Duran Duran is so underrated musically. I have no Idea who Richard Patrick is, I will explore. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKtp3SOQE6I
that's a fun creative track (even with the 'depressed' voice!). I felts a bit of nostalgia while listening to it, 80s/90s syndrome probably! thanks for the sharing.
Very unique. You actually have nice voice. Synths are great, and i really like guitar solo at 2.24. Good job, I love fusion of everything you done here. Good job!
Man I liked this from the get go with that kind of loping bass line. It's also pretty cool to hear you sing, I think maybe you should do more of that cause it's really very good. And a serious topic too, I can relate. Well done man, nice work.
Been a long time ive seen talk talk added in a convo great band in there day, this is a very cool tune man like your vocals man. the synth work is amazing loving the lead. Day at a time man.
Foo're ye deein?, Talk Talks career has always been on my radar. I love how they were New Wave synth and morphed into a Genre they created, "Post Rock." I also have a great respect for Duran Duran, because underneath all the model looks are some talented musicians and songwriters. I don't sing too often, but I have re-discovered some songs in the past (This one is not that old).

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.
Description : Feel free to check out the lyrics video on YT as well :) This is a new track based on the great vocals by Ashes and Dreams! Again, a mix of electronic/progressive/rock, any feedback is welcome
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : Produced by me. Vocal by singer from Croatia.
It will be released in few months.
I wanted to offer this song to a singer from LM community but she refused me before i even offered it to her.
I was actually inspired by Richard Shekaris work in here few months ago for this song.
It was meant to be in Latin at first but we found up it's much easier to do it in Italian with almost same effect.
This is all made in FL, no live instruments played , it's all electronic.
Love and peace.
Description : This song was not supposed to be the fourth track of "Diverse waves", but it finally is. Anyway it's a rock oriented track with some interesting sounds. I hope you like it. Worked in zenbeats DAW, by Roland.
Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
Description : This track was like the inhale after an exhale of aggressive industrial-electro-sludge tracks that I had put out that summer and fall. This was the more reserved, and introspective winter track. It's nothing spectacular, but I still really enjoy it. I hope you do too. Take care. V.
