Hello crucethus, just listened to your track and found it as pounding and progressive from beginning to end, the bass and percussions never broke stride alongside the keys, guitars and various other instruments taking part in this hard hitting track...great track.

My wife is an electro/trance/dance fan. (poor one) :-)
Imagine the situation when a rocker tries to embrace this type of music... :-)
BUT ALL JOKE AWAY, YOUR CREATIONS ALWAYS TRANSFORM THE GENRE!!!
Because of your brilliant progressivity ... as the guitar chop at around 2.50 ...
great track Steve!
fistbump,
Danke

Dude!, I love Rock and metal just as much as I love the electronic world. I love melding the genres (you know that about me already). Music does not need to be gate-keeped by taste sometimes. Thanks as always!

No Worries mate. That bass was from Music Radars Samples I believe bass Boutique. I have had that particular sound in my arsenal for many years. So it's Royalty free and you can enjoy and use with no worries, and no permissions from me mate!

I like it, lots of variations but can't specify like the musicians among us.
Now sorry for my comment: I listened with studio speakers and audio headset and heard something strange. From 00:23 to 01:24 I experienced a distortion. So I took the studio headset and heard a sub bass. After running the sound through an EQ I found a 20-35 Hz frequency that is considerably louder than the rest.
Again sorry if this was intentional and my equipment is simply not up to par :-)

crucethus replied 27th Mar 2025 - 5 months ago
You were not wrong. There was a distorted Sub bass. Leftover Lasagne's Push Tech was the culprit. I used The Eighties Monster Kick Prest which pushed it over the edge. Also I usually listen on Multiple audio units (headphones and speakers) I did not do that. (Lazy, lazy, Lazy.) So I remastered it. Good ears mate and I appreciate you fo that.

That intro makes me imagine a scene where the good guy is sneaking into a huge building and taking out bad guys along the way! A true visionary you have always been, welcome back old man!

Pretty wild man, so much going on and ever evolving. Fantastic synth work and like Dennel I was thinking funk when I heard that bass line at the start. All the best Zoot.

Euro -techno to the max indeed! This track was slammin' big time, I like how you opened up the track with some funky bass accents. From 0:53 to about 1:09 that thunderous kick drum was working out my headphones lol! A very fun and enjoyable track to groove to. I also like that you did several musical change ups heading towards the end part of the track.

Very nice production and sound quality.

Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.

Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.

Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
