Description : The other day, I recorded my drive home from work, and used the sounds from my pickup truck to recreate the into song from the first gen Pokemon games (red/blue/green). A lot of cutting and re-sampling, and for the sub-bass I tossed a sound of my door closing into Serum and picked a nice sine-like single cycle from it and used that to synthesize the bass. I cut the sound of the horn into super-small pieces and repeated them really fast to build the lead. My pickup is a diesel, so the exhaust has a lot of noise in it and covers a good portion of the frequency spectrum, so i used it as a kind of wide-stereo pad. sound of my keys layered with the door for a snare, and the ding from the dashboard and the horn made up a couple more instruments. No sampler plugins, just pitch-shifting everything on the timeline and EQing and other FX etc... Tell me what you think of this experiment!

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!

Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Creating in Logic Pro 9 using the ES2 Synthesizer, the Ultrabeat drum machine with a sampled kick from inklewinkle2's 'Liquid Drum and Bass Break' and kenzo409's snare, the ES E ensemble synth and of course, the 'New World' acapella by RomyHarmony, which was once again, a first class acapella.

Description : First Of all I'd like to thank All the contributors of samples to this site much Appreciated. In this traQ I used 2 beats one at the beginning and one is the foundation of the traQ, I never use one beat I layer my traQs with about 3,4 or more beats to get a different sound plus effectsin Logic. A big fan of Pat Metheny I was learning a guitar part from the way up album. Wanted to color way out the box so the foundation beat here I couldn't resist (Thank U looperman-l-0373650-0057551-gman15-killer-drum-loop.wav and looperman-l-0676737-0065505-dontrale1-clockwork-snare-and-clap.wav) I felt the Pat part I learned didn't go so I put it at the end and came up with a different guitar part that fit perfectly with this traQ. I'm an Instrumentalist who's goal is to create not just for radio but for movies/TV etc. I listen to all genres especially jazz but when I create I fuze sounds together.....I'm not pop or R&B country jazz...I just like creating good music. The timing is a little odd and there are a couple of 3/4 bars in there to keep you on your toes. Acoustic guitar on one side and my Godin Xtsa on it's acoustic setting on the other. Electric down the middle picking out the chords, acoustic piano, strings, EZdrums with a tam mirroring the snare, an arpeggio thing going on in the background and a self indulgent guitar solo. I had a great time putting this together!!

Description : Probably one of several people to use this pella. Anyway coming at you hard and heavy for that day when your neighbours have irked you somewhat. Be gentle with the bass boost won't you. If you twist the volume to the right far enough you'll land up roughly inside the snare drum if the effects work out right. Let me know what you think.. love or loathe this one is going to be a bit like that.
