Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...Search Rating : 5.56

Description : Truly one of my greatest tracks. An intense, constantly changing psychedelic deep groove journey through reggae, rock, metal, funk, blues, electronica, deep chillout and more. Slow, fast, funky, beautiful, weird, fun plus a few more adjectives. Big arpeggiated strings, slide resonator guitar, electric guitars, detuned guitar playing massive funky basslines, wicked wah, squelchy synth bass + other synths, acoustic metal and brush drumkits, hip hop drum hits and no loops. Very complex structure and mix so maybe I haven't got it right. Full track is 13 mins 55, link is in comments. Let me know if you don't think it's as good as I do. Or better. Or self-indulgent rubbish. Now get ready to rock. And then write a 10,000 word essay describing it all...Search Rating : 5.56

Description : Far out mid-tempo fat beat deep chillout grooves with Eastern/Arabic and slightly menacing vibes, huge delayed synth bass and a great palette of psychedelic layered and intricate sounds (mostly synths) and a stirring, epic feel. Even has guitar solo section reminiscent of some 80s power rock which is then followed by a brief synth harp solo. I began making it straight after staying round the flat of the flute player from the legendary Ozric Tentacles - easily the greatest ever space rock band. I made this in about 2001 and still think it might be my best track (and it's nice and short, for a change). My production skills were much weaker in those days (no EQ, compression or mastering used here) but, somehow, this one turned out pretty much just right. Feel free to disagree. Now sit back and get ready to trip extremely far out. If you manage to return, let me know how that trip was...Search Rating : 5.56
Description : Update: Finally me and Erik found the time to add his vocals to this country tune. I remixed it and added more of Allens country pickin' guitar. It's hard to make it more country than this... :)My son Erik (kruus @ looper) had an idea about a rock/country song (more country than rock maybe). We started to jam, had a blast and started recording. My vocals are an adlib as ususal, to be replaced by Eriks voice. My friend Allen heard the tune and added some country style pickin' . Recorded on a Macbook with garageband, a slide, strat, precision and tolerant neigbours, here's a first rough draft of in my country. Enjoy.
Minor update: adjusted volumes, still waiting for the big one.

Description : 25 years ago I had this pop rock reggae band called Grenserasta and one of the members was Jens ComÃÂn – an excellent sax player. We have re-recorded three songs from that era. Damen med hunden means The lady with the dog and is about a women who longs for a different life where the rain is warm, the breeze is soothing and the sun shines.Since I've used all the fifty slots, I am replacing old songs and I hope you forgive me for that. So take it easy and enjoy this little pop rock reggae song with amazing saxophone playing by Jens.

Description : This is a track that I am not all the way finished with. I am placing it on here for feedback though. It is a combo (R'n'B-Rock-Hip-Hop) Track. Used a Nylon Guitar and a Disto Guitar. I am still trying to figure out how and what I wanna use for the Bassline though. That is if I decide to add one. P.S.- It isn't finished!!!Search Rating : 5.56
Description : So I have re-uploaded this again....The last time I took It down as I wasn't that confident with it as a whole...this was a song I wrote a few years ago when I had spent some time lodging with some mates after a difficult period in my life! It does reflect how I felt at that time, and I thought I would share that fact it with you loopers! I have put it in blues, although it is a mixture of blues and rock really...but i suppose the lyrics are more blues than rock...I dunno...I am goin to leave it up on here now coz I suppose it is my best vocal i have done..and as I'm not in a band anymore..I might as well!Any opinions or comments are appreciated!

Description : This tracks owes alot to the music of both Sonic Youth and Girls Against Boys, two bands that I hold in high regard. Overall the song has a Noise-Rock meets Garage-Rock feel to it. At least 3 guitar tracks on this, possibly 4, and a heavy bass track, all parts played by me except for the drums which come courtesy of an SR-16. All tracks were recorded direct to an FD8.Search Rating : 5.56
Description : This is a Altern-rock type song made entirely of a sample loops library disk, from either Sony or Bigfishaudio, royalty free....as I buy and use both companies loops and other companies as well. Since I just found this site, I'll try some loops from here as well. :)I made the song using Protools 7.4 as the main software engine. I added in compression, reverb and some EQ.
I did it all myself from loops and this is my second song ever. The first song I made is an upbeat country one if anyone wants to hear it.

Description : A hard driving Instrumental Techno/Acid/Rock/Folk fusion track (I've given birth to another bastard song without a main genre). I used the Silver Synth (emulates the Roland TB-303 Bassline) used in ACID music. Same thang I used in "Never Here". I Love the TB-303 sound. Anyways, I used a lot of different loops on this one be it for percussion or sound FX (loops used Techo). Drum loops are Dance/rock style... There's a crafty breakdown near the end, where things transition from different loop styles. I have three electric guitar tracks playing a hard driving scotish-irish folk dirge hook, just cranked with distortion and a little chorus. This is totally a fusion of styles thing. This was something I was experimenting with and was not trying to make into a full length song. Enjoy! BTW, the song is named after somebody who was the inspiration behind me learning to play anything Irish/Scotish/Celtic sounding... Again, another song I can't figure out where it best falls under....Search Rating : 5.56
Description : Alternative Country Rock Fusion Disco does not exist as a Genre on here, so I've stuck this under 'Rock'.... This is a work in progress... Getting a lot more practice in using Drum loops......This Done up in Magix Music Maker (Basic Edition), with Drum loops. Everything else I either created the loops or played live tracks (vocals, guitar, bass). The Intro a bit by accident when I was adding effects on one of the vocal takes.. The Bridge is rather unique, opted to stay away from doing the expected. Enjoy.Search Rating : 2.78
