Description : Hey I know it's been quite a while...
Real life you know...
Well here's some french hip-hop I made for In10gene a few years ago.
Title means "on my way".
Description : I found this file on an old hard drive. It's a beat I wrote for In10gene, french rapper, in 2008. I know it needs a good mixing, but I don't have the separate wav anymore so... It'll be left as it is...
The title of the song can be translated as "I'm the one who draws my own life"...
Contains a sample from Nneka ( don't remember the song though )
and a loop from Jordan Ruddess ( don't remember neither ).
Description : Hi everybody and HAPPY NEW YEAAH-R !!
I've just searched through the incredible mess I have in my computer and found this track I wanted to share with you .
It's part of an album called "WYN" which I made with PAUL KISS, a French music producer, composer and great guitarist with whom I used to work in the past .
I hope you'll enjoy,
Take care, folks,
Bises,
Janis
Description : Typical south of France HipHop so... Sorry, it's in French... Collab with In10gene and Cynthia... This track is the intro of In10gene's debut album "Second Souffle". 2010.
Description : Rafting theme for Sami documentary film.
Volume is mixed down.
Lars Levi Læstadius (January 10, 1800 - February 21, 1861) was a Swedish Lutheran pastor of partly Sami ancestry.
Laestadius was invited by the French Admiralty to participate in the La Recherche Expedition of 1838-40. He was recognized for his knowledge in botany and of the Sami languages that the expedition would undertake. Laestadius was a field guide for the islands and in the interior of Northern Norway and Sweden, studying both plant life and the culture of the Sami inhabitants for the expedition. During this project and long afterward, Laestadius started his manuscript Fragments of Lappish Mythology which described a snapshot of the Sami traditional religious beliefs that were passing into history due to the Christianization program in full swing at that time

Description : I start it off with some Pygmies chanting... and then load it up on the "Epic" beats from PlanetJazzbass. (Thanks!)
I threw in some tremolo strings and a French horn, which reminds me a lot of "Putting the damage on" by Tori Amos off the "Boys For Pele" album.
I can go on and on about the subject matter for days. As always, I get to say here what I haven't the nerve/courage/balls to say in real life. He won't know it's about him.
Description : About French Pre$idenT Nicolas Sarkozy, who is my favourite nightmare. In my dreams I'm running behind him with a bazooka, but he's too small as a target... AHAHAHAHAHAhahahahahah

Description : Some Edits**Super Filtered for a smoother taste. This a bit of a different direction for me, going for that french filtered house vibe something I really love. I knocked this up last night and have just been working with it trying to get the right sound. Not sure entirely about the structure, but it has some nice parts in there that Im enjoying. I put a filter and some chorus on my main samples to add some depth and magic. Was looking for a nice vocal to help with the structure but not come across anything that really works. Have a listen people and see what you think. If you have any comments please leave a review.
Description : She's playing her cards, close to her chest...
Not sure what I did with the levels in this one, but instead of fiddling with it, I thought I'd upload and get some feedback. Dorothy's in there... and she ain't in Kansas no more.
A bit of French Horn... and the ever-present twinkly piano bits.
Description : The new comer in the gallery of portraits.Poppy Rawson is a friend of my sister and I felt she had something of a Western character...or maybe it's just me seeing western character everywhere, lol!
It's pretty much a demo for the moment,I might be adding some more percussions later

Description : Heres another one of me.
If you like mellow Instrumentals listen to this Track.
Its the normal Ciko stuff what you ever can expected!
I used a little bit of a piano, some strings, some french horns for accent in the hook. And some usual drumz and also some Orchestral Drumz!
Everything is composed by myself. No samples.
Hope you will enjoy your flight with Just Clownz Productions Airline
