Description : Cosmic Eastern chillout atmospheric shuffle blues with loads of bluesy/Eastern electric guitar playing and warm sub bass (the same synth patch I've used in about 20 tracks). No drum loops and just two programmed acoustic kits - probably the simplest drum setup I've ever used. One day I hope to make a track containing only one drum kit. Also: a few female vocal samples (including a heavily timestretched one), one section of bass guitar, a few sample-based string instruments, a few notes of organ and two synth pad instruments. So, quite a minimal instrument lineup for me. It goes uptempo around 4:31 into a grooving, stomping bit of shuffle blues and I wonder if I should have brought this section back at the end for a triumphant finale. But I'm trying hard these days not to make things too long and this is already a decent length. Also contains some darker, Eastern sections but nothing too dark. Have a listen and leave me some interesting feedback - the more detail, the better.

Description : Hiphop with real instruments (the third one we did)We all got someone that we want to say thank you for believing in us in the past, related to music or otherwise. I recently had the opportunity to say "thank you" to a friend that I lost contact with for almost 30 years - so when I saw those lyrics from HEMANIFEZT I liked them immediately
bass by bhunt1........drums by rp3drums....guitars by me (background+solo)......background female singing by SoleilxLune (loop "Vocal 27").....and of course rap by the one and only HEMANIFEZT....
So thank you for listening, love a comment, especially if you feel like contributing advice about the mix, volume, anything, all appreciated. Thanks :)

Description : Psychedelic chillout stoner/doom epic. Badass heavy riffage and drumming plus big chillout vibes. Heavy electric guitar plus slow attack lead parts. Other beauty and ambience from filter swept violins, two synth pads and some subtle female vocal samples. Also bass guitar and sub bass. Two programmed, heavy drum kits and one lighter one, to fatten up the sound.

Description : Every now and then I make a track with a male vocal, where as I usually use female vocals. I think that Know Kontorl's vocal is great and I wish it was a lot longer so that I could have used a lot more of his material. The track has some Massive Attack influences, but sounds like a love song every now and then too.
Please let me know what you would have done differently or what you like about the track. Open to comments as always!
Best, Doc

Description : I wanted to do something in a LL Cool J/Puff Daddy/Faith Evans-style. Sentimental/romantic but from a female perspective. Luckily I found Patricia and Janis and it all fell into place, I used a Ibiza-style housestagger as a basis for this hommage to all the supercommercial hiphop-remakes of the eighties that made a lot of rappers Mercedes Benz-owners.

Description : Short little track using some guitar loops I was working on and Isaiah's acapella which fitted perfectly.I'd love to expand on it, because I definitely think there's scope to do more. I haven't had a good think about where to go with it, but I'm leaning towards getting a contrasting female vocal in the mix for verses (still soulful, but a little more lively than Isaiah's vocal). If anyone's interested in working on the vocals or has another idea, then let me know.
