Description : An 80BPM psychedelic, chillout, deep groove electric cello spectacular. It mostly consists of multiple layers of my heavily edited cello playing techniques (harmonics, pizzicato, bowing, tremoloing and a little spiccato) plus drums. Other instruments: bass guitar, 8 bars of electric guitar, Fender Rhodes, a trancey synth, one occasional bass synth and a processed chimey guitar synth. It's fairly minimal instrumentation for me as this is all about my cello explorations as I learn how to play the instrument and what sort of sounds I can get out of it. Drums are programmed hip hop and hard rock kits (2 of each), plus some fun glitch processing on one kit in a middle section. No drum loops. This was quite difficult to make and I've had to show real restraint in not making it longer and not adding any guitar in the rocking last 2 minutes. That just seemed too predictable so I chose not to do it at all. Shimmering, high, bowed, funky cello all the way instead! Have a listen and leave me some interesting thoughts and/or suggestions.

This track was made in FL Studio, the basses were made using massive and a mixture of fx.

Description : This track is a sorta homage to the song "Spanish Sahara" by the band Foals. And by extension, a homage to the game Life is Strange who's finale moved me tremendously.

Featuring drums by Alividlife. I wanted realistic sounding drums, and my skill set to create realistic sounding drums out of virtual is... well the skill isn't there. I also don't have a drum set myself. So thank you so much Alividlife. Also, I assumed it was "A Livid Life" or even "Alivid Life" but I didn't wanna take any chances.

Description : I hope we got your attention on this one :), this is another hiphop flavoured track we did. All 4 Guitar parts by me, bass by Bhunt1, drums by rp3drums (he did all the work by combining live drum tracks to a single track). In addition to that there is a little synth part in the background, a looperman scratch loop by moe46 and the acapella track by HEMANIFEZT.

So we are trying to do tracks which are hiphop based but done with real instruments as well as traditional hiphop elements. So it is not 100% hiphop but this is the tag that most fits it. Also, the excellent rap "makes" this song, so it has to be hiphop.

If you have any comments or advice, let's hear it. Thanks to the guys for letting me have their tracks, thanks to HEMANIFEZT for letting everyone use his acapellas. Hope you enjoy it. Peace, TG

Description : This piece is an ambient thing I'm working on. Recording the guitars, vocals and bass myself. Then programmed the electronic and acoustic drum samples. Also used a few glitch samples in the background for the drums. I also added a soprano choir section over top of me for a harmony. Really could see a standoff going down on this track, fingers twitching and whanot lol. Enjoy
