Description : Update: Finally me and Erik found the time to add his vocals to this country tune. I remixed it and added more of Allens country pickin' guitar. It's hard to make it more country than this... :)

My son Erik (kruus @ looper) had an idea about a rock/country song (more country than rock maybe). We started to jam, had a blast and started recording. My vocals are an adlib as ususal, to be replaced by Eriks voice. My friend Allen heard the tune and added some country style pickin' . Recorded on a Macbook with garageband, a slide, strat, precision and tolerant neigbours, here's a first rough draft of in my country. Enjoy.

Description : In light of the growing tensions in this country over the past few years, I attempted to create a socially conscious groove as a reminder to us all especially our younger followers, just how important it is to keep in mind (as the Obama sample states WE ARE EACH OTHERS KEEPER) hence the Sweet dreams. Meaning we need to be aware that crimes and aggression towards ourselves only assists the current state of mind of those who now run this country. Lord knows THEY DO NOT NEED ANY FURTHER HELP FROM US. We are about to enter into a long hot summer with many questions as to how our country will now be led, over the next few years by the newly appointed heads of state. I thank you for taking time to read this as I rarely post any writings. Enjoy, listen and most of all be safe!....(All Unarmed)

Description : Here attached is a new country tune I put together using several loops I bought off a disk set. I call it 'Old Tyme Country' as it is close to being Bluegrass as well. (Bluegrass usually has a Mandoline, Fiddle and a 5-string Banjo, and a rhythm guitar at least).

This instrumental features no guitars or regular drums. Rhythm here is provided by a Dulcimer, a Shaker and a drum like instrument called a Djembe. (An instrument from Africa, looking like a tall Bongo drum)

An acoustic stand-up Bass is used along with a 4 string Banjo, and the Fiddle is the main instrument.
Put all these together and this is the sound you can have. Hope you'll like it.

Description : Well, this is rather hard to explain. I wrote the lyrics to this a year or two ago but it sounded too much like a country music song, and I don't make country music. So, the song got shelved. I finally decided to put her together and this track kinda took off. The acoustic guitar credit goes to InsaneSmilie, for his Insane Acoustic loops. The beat was made in FL Studio 10 And all the vox are me. I really tried to make this as little country music sounding as possible, but let me know what you think. Enjoy and peace.

Description : This collab is with the OCR Boys, (Bobby & Steve), DJ's at KickinCountry101.com. I got the bass, acoustic tracks and drums and Bobbys vocals. I dusted off the harmonica, brought out the oldFender Strat, the pedal steel and the midi-guitar for the fiddle parts for this one. Not my usual fare but I had been in a few country bands back when country was cool in the 90's. Description : This short tune is part One of the last country song that I uploaded. (Country Tyme) The big difference is that a fellow 'Looperwoman' named 'Muzicizmee4ever' liked the tune and wrote lyrics for it, and is singing the vocals and harmonies for it. Very nice indeed.

Description : Two country songs in one. Both songs are in the key of 'D'. A number of different loops used along with my own playing and arranging.
The first song includes, Slide guitar, Banjo, Piano, Fiddle, and the normal assortment of guitars, bass and drums.

Second song contains Mandolin and guitar with the front and rear pickups switched out of phase to give it a unique sound.

Description : started as country - turned a bit reggae ! ? changed as i experimented and added differant loops, i have a limited selection of guitar and keyboard leads so i tried to cut and patch them to give a melody to the tune, i f anyone can realy play and can think of a better lead or melody for this i would be very pleased to share, get in touch, or if you can add vocals i would welcome them. take a listen and let me know what you think, cheers

Description : Just a simple country waltz featuring a number of instruments, and the main instrument...Pedal Steel guitar. Not an easy instrument to play and certainly not a cheap instrument to buy. Decent new ones start out at around $2,500, but like everything else, if you have the desire, 'you can do it'.
Drums, Fiddle are sample loops. Contains 2 rhythm guitars..one with tremelo. Piano, and the usual Lead, Bass guitar.
Near the end.....they all play at once together.
