Description : I wrote this song for Sunny War to sing and the blues great brought her guitar as well. It's one of my faves that we made together, and we made a big pile of them. It's far from perfect though. There's a rhythmic glitch at one point that we couldn't figure out in the studio. And 4 musical breaks? What was I thinking? The song is a meandering river of melancholy, taking its sweet time. But I love it anyway, problems and all. Sunny's guitar and voice, as always, transcendent.

Description : Billy, aka "Sweet Willy", wanted to record a blues song written by Dave Von Ronk so he stopped by with his Gibson re-issue 1942 Southern Jumbo which was only 1 of 10 made for the Dallas guitar show the year he bought it. It even has the classic banner on the headstock and it sounded and recorded great! He sang a lead vocal track and a couple backups. The tracking took about 15 minutes and I did a couple mixes. I dig the tune and Billy's rendition, hope you do too!
