Description : This was a track that JFW and I completed in July 2011. It is the culmination of us both bouncing several piano ideas about. We initially composed it as a vocal track. Jamie is an incredible artist. He added the Guitar and some of his signature synth lines and percussion. I did Piano, Drums, Bassline and Rhodes. Looking for a vocalist to complete this. Description : Bit of writers' block on this one but I am very pleased with the tame robot's take on the bassline and beat. Bit stuck on how to make the robot voice not stick out so much, I guess a proper bit of software is needed.

Description : This track started off completely different from it's finish state...I had a completely different sound before I create synths that had the wrong set of notes...but I actually like the mistaken synth better so I re-built the track. I put this up as a fusion track. It has hip-hop instrumentation with some trance, piano, violin synths infused...The main synth also doubles as the bassline...which sounds kinda like a mix between dub-step & grime. I've been working on this for a few months and think i'm finally done.I used the following VST's for my synths: Edirol Orchestral, Superwave-8, Sawer & Morphine.
Give the whole track a listen and let me know what you like/dislike and what could be improved...comments & critiques always appreciated, thanks for listening!!

Description : This is a dancey drum and bass tune i came up with in like, two hours. It's melodic but heavy, it's pretty relaxing too. Lotta pads. a piano. Nice bassline with the typical variations of tempo and bass that are always found in dnb and dubstep.

Description : some pretty minimal but funky piece of music with a very strong bassline (at least I feel it this way) and only two synth lines ... on top of it you hear a poem by Effluence (a million thx for your wonderful voice!!!) ... drums from sony 8packs and from betamonkey ... synths and bass, composition and arrangement by me ... and bad news for my regular listeners: NO guitar from me this time ... I hope you enjoy this sweet and hypnotic track ... peace, rei4real

Description : Was tinkering on piano, created the melody, thought to myself, this needs a beat and a bassline of sorts, so wrote them too and sprinkled a little bit of string into the mix and you have what you hear, but i can't rhyme, can you?

Description : the indian flute makes a welcome return in this one - it's more a conversation than a tune. i used a slow beat - which stops and goes at abrupt intervals. i've also used a very 'synthetic' analog voice in the back (doubling as the bassline).just felt like messing around and this girl showed up on the pc screen.

Description : Thought i should get more organic and write a track featuring my voice and my guitar . I sat down worked out a bassline on the guitar that sounded good with an electro synth riff I created and the lyrics came naturally after that. Actually this whole track's a massive departure for me since it's the first time I've written anything at house tempo and first time i've recorded myself singing.... I'm massively out of my D and B comfort zone with this track but the whole process has been nothing but fun . Tell me what you think even if you think it stinks!

Description : This was on my tracklist for a period of time, but I obviously deleted it.. I remember it was something weird with the bassline at that time.. But I'm uploading it again, since I feel it deserves to be one of the 50 songs I have here.Hardware is a Jackson RR5, Line 6 Pod X3 and my laptop.
Software is Reaper, Addictive Drums, Gearbox.
Guitars, bass and drums by Steinaa - cant remember who did the piano parts.. My apologies..!

Description : A lil neo/r&b throwback flava....Entry to my homies comp...On this track I played just about all the melodies on my keyboard,which were the flutes(nnxt), falling blared trumpet melody(nnxt), bassline melody(subtractor/down south bass), piano melody(nnxt), strings melody(nnxt), vocal scale melody (I played the scale in Thor/Synthetic Mezzo F Vox) using the pitch bend bar and last but least the synth in the very beginning was supplied live by a friend, looperman member lflat heres his page... https://www.looperman.com/users/tracks/278262

Description : I was inspired by the Black Moon album "Warzone". Filtered bassline, jazzy samples, chopped breaks.I've tried to re-create classic E-MU sp1200 "stardust" sound with my s950, using different sampling/EQ/pitching techniques. Not quite got it, but I think I was close.
Feel free to use it, just don't forget to send me the result.

Description : So, I started this Instrumental track about a week ago and finished it at work last night. I have to say with each track I do, I love them even more and this one is no exception. I wanted to switch it up a little bit and try more string synths verses my norm which would be infusing electronic/trance synths in all my work...but I couldn't help my self and had to add a trance synth or two lol! Anywho, I used Edirol Orchestral for all my string synths & the following VST's for the rest: PoiZone, Analog Warfare 3, Sytrus & Anawave. I experimented with the bassline as that has been something I need to work on, I tried to make a slow groove type of r&b track with the instrumentation but still sound as if it came from 2011...so please take a full listen and let me know what you may or may not like about this track, all comments and critiques are appreciated!!-David
UPDATE: I tweaked the volume levels a bit, removed and added a synth and did a little EQ-ing.

All the negativity... All the news... horrible stories... It makes you lead to believe the worlds coming to an end... Imagine if you were God seeing this...
