Description : I composed this base thinkin' about my sister. In facts, the title is nothing but her name (in english "Scarlet"). In this mix you maybe could recognise something-heard-somewhere, as the bassline or the drum arrangement in center part. Description : Far out, cello-based, deep grooving, progressive, powerful and sometimes aggressive sci fi epic with lots of electronic elements and some dubstep craziness towards the end. Electric cello, slow attack guitar, resonator guitar, a little bit of bass guitar, 5 synths, lots of effects and drum loops and a few programmed drum kits. It all began with the first couple of cello riffs (one pizzicato bassline, one bowed main riff) and the hip hop beats and then grew and grew as I added more synths and drums and worked in some old, leftover guitar parts. It's very detailed and complex and the mix and sculpting of the sounds are as important as the composition. Have a good listen then come back and let me know what you thought of this twisting, turning journey into outer space. Feel free to criticise and/or tell me your favourite parts...

But slow, then tape stops after that some lp fades in the beat and the best 808 bassline. The drums are unusual but the flute is muffled to sound something else the bass is good

Description : This song is a remake of Nothing Here and Øfdreams song; Black Hole (the_ eternal battle).The original song is kinda short, but pretty amazing in my opinion. Its very atmospheric and has a heavy bassline. My remake tries to remake as much as possible, but keep it to my own style, kinda. The original song is within the 'Witch House' genre, or slightly within the 'trap' genre. I've tried my best to keep it that way.

Description : Here is my new genre and I call it 'electrocellometallo', or just 'cellometallo' though this is also a dance track. My aim was to make some dirty groove metal without using any guitar. Instead, all of what sounds like heavy guitar is actually distorted, bowed cello (yes, it's my cello playing). There are also no bass instruments (eg bass guitar, synth bass) as that's cello, yet again. I only played one proper cello bassline - the rest of the bass is incorporated within the dirty cello riffage. Other instruments: Fender Rhodes (clean and then distorted) a few synth arps, a synth pad and soaring, sample-based strings. Lots of fat beat drum loops and two programmed hard rock kits. I enjoyed making this but let me know what you think. Interesting and intelligent analysis appreciated. Humour is also permitted...

Description : Finally worked out how to write my very own "amen break" (woohoo - via midi, not sampling!!!), dropped a bassline and an acapella by RomyHarmony, and we have a fairly raw track, maybe it could do with more, but....we'll see!

Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
