Listen To Fire Ant Fandango Fusion Song By Bcway At Looperman.com

1st Nov 2009 21:58 - 15 years ago
Description : Looking outside after finishing his morning tea, Little Robbie the fire ant exclaimed, “Good God almighty, what a splendid day for a walk in the glorious woods”. So he grabbed his hat, stuck it on his head at a jaunty angle (not backwards like the village idiot) between his two fully erect antennae, and strode outside - where he was immediately eaten by a greasy arsed ant eater. The end.

I had fun again with this one, a great escape for me from the maddening world.
Magix, my creation, a couple of ambient loops from Looperman.

Poor little Robbie, haha, great description for the track! I've run into those fire ants before, viscious little buggers!! Liked the walk up notes with the synths and organ. Fun track, had me nodding my head and tapping my toes.

Great track, it's fast, busy, and somewhat annoying, but all in a good way. Sort of reminds me of going to a carnival as an adult and already knowing what the clowns under the big top are going to do but the musical pace brings the magic back enough to still sit through it.

A new fav for sure, I'll have to remember to download it when I'm at home on MY computer.

LOL As I was putting it together, that is just what I was thinking - "somewhat annoying", and I thought if I should change it or not.......not.
Thank you for the review.

why can i see robbie so clearly in my mind? and the anteater? lol this track is SUCH a fun ride. i covet your ability to stay ambient, while also moving your lil creature thru the musical forest you created for him. it reminds me so much a cartoon i used to love as a kid. great job!

Ah!!!! I love descrips like that. Lol. This is good stuff man, it kinda feels more technically organized than - well wait what am I saying? ants are like instinctively organized by like smells and dancings - no, that's bees - but yeh this exudes a sophistication of being and circumstance way above the ant. This is like the Matrix's architects younger, cooler brother playing this while he prepares a new energy budget analysis for the meyer of machine city. Cool work bud. Cheers.

==============
Inspired by a track of Pseudoble. I was noodling along to his track "I wish I didn't know" (which is awesome) and had the words "Snow in Athens" in my head. This with the smooth jazz/fusion atmosphere led me to this track with a sort of Steely Dan feel.

Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^

Description : Psychedelic blues hip hop with lead banjo and acoustic resonator slide guitar. Acoustic drum kits, fat basslines, soaring filtered strings, some strong Eastern elements (from guitar and strings), some dub and funk from the bass and drums and a bit of rocking electric guitar. Very unusual piece of music and a trip like no other I've heard. Some of it is like a dark, deep Southern delta blues track over a hip hop and dub backing. All played and programmed by me, no loops used.

After a quite turbulent long travel we’ve reached a totally unknown planet which is mostly covered with clouds. As we pass over it we can see parts of rivers through the clouds that come out of the dark rocky surface in some places. So the whole scene is alternating textures of white, dark gray and silver flashes. Unfortunately there’s no chance to land anywhere so we just pass, wonder and travel on …
