Description : This is a powerful song with a tragic backstory. Many here on LM know of my brother, Pnnywze, and this is more his story than mine, at least at first. Anyway, I HAVE PLACED THE BACKSTORY IN THE "LYRICS" SECTION, AS IT WOULD NOT FIT HERE.
When I started listening to this, the piano stuck out. It loosely reminded me of the piano from Hellraiser when they open the box.
We all know that when they open the box, real bad shit happens. They think they can escape their own reality to a better one, but ultimately leading to suffering, and worse.
You could almost use "the box" as a metaphor for addiction.
Now, like I said, the piano reminded me of the music whenever they showed the box, which, coincidentally enough, and as we learn in the 4th movie, is actually called "The Lament Configuration".
Lament.
This is a good track, and it certainly is a fine homage to your friend. I'm sorry to hear that things turned out as they did. Speaking from experience, that shit is a hard one to watch and accept.
I'm so sorry for the late reply, sometimes I'll be so busy for days or even weeks in a row and find it hard to even check my email - but to be honest its more my poor time management skills than being busy that keeps me tied up.
All of us most definitely appreciate your tactful comment, and the smooth way u provide a distraction from something that causes my brother and I pain. (I also kno my brother really admires u and ur work, I remember him telling me he wanted to try and bring some similar stuff to your work to the songs in the big project we were starting to put together 7,8 months ago....on that I think he mostly succeeded.
I also have felt Yungin's presence a lot lately, so I kno hes definitely happy with our tribute here. Thanks for giving us ur time dude.
Hello guys
It is so painful to learn about youngsters that give end to their life and it is so promising to meet young people like you that feel the need to communicate their story, believing in this human chain that can strengthen things up and make life a little better. Yes it is so nice to keep your friend's memory alive, as Kay wrote encased in your beautiful music. Great job, powerful 808/bass lines. Very, very well done.
My best regards, Anthony
Thank you Anthony. I Know Yungin is around, his spirit has been making it known in many ways how happy he Is that we were able to pull this off. He deserves to be remembered, and nothing carries memories better than music. And of course, there must be listeners. We appreciate the support so much.
Thank you! I kno ur my brother's best friend, and times have been hard on you both. I kno there doesnt seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel, but there is. And I kno My brother would do anything for u. Thanks for the support. Im truly sorry for your loss.
Yea, my brother used it for the chorus. It does say that in the track description which most people don't seem to read for some reason. That's not a knock on u or anything, its something I've noticed over the years, and I think it's the way the LM is set up visually. These days in general people need something that draws their attention to the information u want them to have, and the track description here ain't it lol. Thanks for listening and commenting man, we really appreciate it for real.
Yungin sure has serious flow in this. Clearly the speaker story shows a playful energy from him coming thru. A hearfelt, poignant story and the music you have encased it with fits perfectly. I bet it will be electric when you do those vocals tonight - there is such a strong energy between u all. You are the kings of Trap for sure. Big love. Kay(0s) PS - Don't leave - it's so good having u here!
Hello Kay! Thank u so much for the kind words - we all appreciate it. Times are hard, sometimes it doesn't feel like the same world I grew up in. And my me and brother have lost so much, our families, many of our friends. Its hard not to feel like they just left us here; I know it's not the truth but the world has been a Cold place to us, having to overcome huge obstacles to even feel worthy of love and respect. I know how yungin felt, and I wish I could tell him that. I know he's with us, I just wish I could truly speak to him one more time. But for now, he's right here speaking to us and that's enough. Thank u for always supporting us. Don't worry, we're still gonna be around - even though the first big project is done, we will still be on some of Pnnywze's stuff, and we're always down for some collaborations like the one we did with Rita, that was a fun experience for those of us that were involved. It convinced us to be open to anything if we can do it justice. We feel at home here now, we'll be around. - TMS
Hey man, thanks for always being there to support us, it means alot! All 5 of us are at Pnnywze's recording vocals tonight, first time ever with all of us at the same time lol. We'll be here tomorrow night too, we definitely wanted to show some support to those who have supported us. But we've heard the songs of yours and Pnnywze's project, so we knew how talented you are already. we'll give ur songs some love on here before we leave. - Vizzio, Infamous, Pnnywze, J-Holmes, & SamHayn - The Monzder Squadd
It feels so much like listening to a ghost, man - it gives me chills. Thanks for telling our story in such a heartfelt way. Yungin lives on in our hearts. He is smiling on us right now.
Description : This song is my first attempt at trap(?) and was made ENTIRELY with Looperman loops in honor of this awesome site and also to demonstrate what you can do with Looperman loops :P. Compiled, edited/processed, mixed and roughly mastered in about 16 hours. I am collaborating with a Looperman rapper right now who will lay some verses on this and I will do the hook. In other words this is not a finished product just yet, but wanted y'alls opinions on it.

Description : so me and Aaron finally collabed, as i do with all producers on close collabs, i do the vocal and processing then its up to the producer, i give them carte blanche, i don't tell them their job, they do as they wish edit drop lyrics etc
my first attempt at trap, the vocal layout was down to me, and all the bells and whistles Pnnywse, im extremely proud to promote this and show whats possible when you make good links here on the loop, we have an abundance of talent, thanks for your hard work Bro
Description : Exploration of music genres!
As I'm helping local metal band with production on their album,
we found some time to make this monstrosity LOL
I put it in Trap genre but more accurate would be
INDUSTRIAL HORRORCORE TRAP.
Love and peace.
Description : Step 1) Make a really repetitive beat (No Distortion).
Step 2) Make sure there's a long segment at the end of the beat of JUST THE BEAT because the actual song will only be like a min and 40 secs.
Step 3) For the "distortion", don't actually distort the beat. Most people think you distort the 808 to get the the XXXTENTACION sound, but that's wrong. Make sure the beat is PROPERLY mixed/mastered and THEN boost the bass frequencies until you reach your desired amount of distortion.
We all know that when they open the box, real bad shit happens. They think they can escape their own reality to a better one, but ultimately leading to suffering, and worse.
You could almost use "the box" as a metaphor for addiction.
