hallo Leon!
already loving this after 10 seconds and can say these will be some yummy strings. going to F# instead of C# was a pleasant surprise.
guitar fits very well, did you record this guitar phrase? it's constant rhythm is guiding the rest nicely as we wait for the percussions.
the solo bowed instrument is insane, what is it? did you have to program this or even play it?
here comes the beat now, digging the flow.
i am sitting in my chair comfortably at 1:40 AM and getting carried away by your lovely music. it has a meditative effect and helps me relax and focus - thanks.
oh also, is it possible to see the picture this was based on? i already was creating an image in my head and it could be fun to compare it to the actual thing you used as inspiration.
andreas vollenweider the harp player also used to hang images and paintings in the studio when they were in a creative phase and looking for inspiration. and clearly it worked like a charm. :)
glad to catch up slowly. this is already super nice and i can't wait to listen to more if it's all of such high quality.
impressive work my friend, very well done indeed
Incredibly relaxing and beautiful. I particularly loved the violin, specially the part just before the middle of the song. But the whole thing was a journey.
Wow, totally breathtaking! This is a very rich musical presentation. All the instruments sound spectacular. Nice progression. You are definitely a top guy here. Well done!
Whoa, I usually don't even consider listening to a track longer than 5min. I'm glad I let that go. This is an excellent composition, the drive of the track really keeps you engaged.
This is a beautiful track from beginning to end. Faved.
Great track.
Stunning intro. Leon this is such a beautiful piece of work. 3:08 kicks in some power, but you pull it back. nice use of power and restraint, adds emotional value. Well done, you are one of the best composers on this site and I enjoy listening to your Work.
Ciao
Steven
Hey Steve my friend...always a pleasure to hear from you ! AS you probably noticed I'm not much around here lately, but I'm still kicking..:) Thank you so much for this generous feedback...means alot !
Leon! Hello my friend! Damn. I knew I dropped by The Loop today for a reason. It's been quite awhile. I hope all is well with you and yours.
The intro in this has no specific realm. Meaning, it leaves it open to go in any direction. My imagination was already starting to go one way, and then you came in from a completely different direction with the beautiful guitar arpeggios, accompanied by the spacious piano.
When the strings come in they sound as if they're Celtic strings that have been kissed by the middle east.
A nice simple drum beat. But that's what it needs to be. Any more and they would overstep their boundaries. The other percussive elements fill in the spaces perfectly.
Leon, I have always been a fan of your layering and overlapping transitions. You do not disappoint here.
But, then again, you never do.
Beautiful work as always, sir. Once again, I find myself wishing I could tap into the peaceful part of myself and create something that isn't so...aggressive.
Until next time, my friend, as always...Take care.
Aaron.
Hey Aaron my friend...so nice to meet you again...it's been awhile. I'm not much around here in recent times for a number of reasons, but I still jump in from time to time.
Thank you so kindly for your positive feedback which as always means alot...but wait...my previous upload could be much closer to your musical preferences...and in case you would like to check it out, here it is: https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/227964#1223585
Hey Leon! Hope things are going well for you and yours.
Beautiful track, acoustic guitar and piano make such a nice sound together. Then add some strings and a few sound effects, pads and such and the song blossoms into an expansive soundscape for the ears to swallow up, digest and enjoy!
Hey Wayne...how's going? In terms of these weird times things are going relatively (and surprisingly) well over here...catching some more composing time lately..:))
Thank you so much for your supportive feedback and a 'fav'...always a pleasure !
absolutely your style ... recognizable from afar ... and it's good ... art at the highest level ... I'm glad it's only a few hundred kilometers away from you ... :-)
thanx for the upload, dl, fav and hail instantly ...
handshake, Danke
Hi my dear neighbour...always a pleasure to hear from you !
I'm really glad you approve my new stuff which is ofcouese in very classic orlandesque style. As much as I like to try different things sometimes (previous track for example) there is also a nice feeling of coming back to my more obvious self...:)) Thank you so much for your positive thoughts and a 'fav' ! Also accept my apologize for late reply...:)
Stunning my friend, what a warm empathetic soundtrack, the keys are beautiful, the accoustic guitar adds the gentle touch, the strings heighten the feeling, the drum beat adds an urgency in the second phase, really good listen and fav
You've come along way on these songs [loops]. This was magnificent and filled with empathy and pain, in living colors. Way to go 'Man' Keep em' comin' Orlando51 Peace and good health DDC
Sound is amazing - every instrument is crisp and crystal clear. The guitar arpeggio is dominant but somehow reminds me of a harpsichord (or maybe that is in there too)and the violin (?) is beautiful. Quite forlorn and very atmospheric. Chill out chamber music : )
Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd
Description : That's something i worked out lately
a swing 3/4 hip hop Chill ?? Don't know how to describe this kind of music.
Anyway VOICE NEEDED

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...
Description : This is a pretty chill track with a certain vibe. I really enjoyed making it.
Hope you guys enjoy it and let me know what you think, any feedback is appreciated.
Description : A little 30 seconds snippet of a beat which I made out of a sample I found on the site, so I decided to upload it here and share it everyone.
Sampled used by me *SampleMADE now SouthWaveBeats* and uploaded by "kingmswati" check him out!
