I respect the artistry but do not respect the unfriendly banter. This site has been a staple in my life of music and i've encountered only a handful of bad spirits on my own work in the 5+ years of using the site... the only thing I dont get is ; why?
never the less, all i ask of you is respect for others craft.
shouldnt need to have been said but theres a time and place , and this site isnt filled with polished grammy award winning artists.... it is the place for them to grow. so why, when everyone else around you is working on bettering their craft, would you down that person? no need. help is all we need, all we give.

    anyways...
with all due respect, much love

First of my comments wasn't rude or gross. I have just recommended Vadim Taranov supression, which is really magic tool for free, then I just ask:
    1. Was it captured by phone?
    2. How old is she?

Where is the foundation to all of that flame she and her friends bring here in comment section of MY song, I have just put one comment that I really think is useful, a I just get that in return.

Well and thats me the bad guy? Hmmm

It is my comment section is burnt by hate and personal insults of me, like my nick name and so on.

Well, I have just putmy oppinion and advice and ask some questions (non is answered still). Why me to want "knock" you from somewhere??? Look at my music, then yours, we are just in way different leagues.

Nothing personal. Just phone recordings, and old voice. And if you dont want any opinion other then "wow", why posting something? I post here to get feedback of any kind (even tryed to record some orchestral percussion, after one guy's comment).

And Yeah, special THANK YOU for "the coke", haha.
You know my nickname is the second thing people trying to get me offended. The first one is my English (forth by frequency of use language for me). But, you know what? Surprise- surprise: never my music.

Well, so there are some hard to swallow pills then. But try not to flame on it, I am really trying to help.
    1. You do sounds like you really 55-65 yo. (You wont answer, so it is highly likely the thruth, but once again it is COMPLETELY OK, I am not agist at all).
    2. The basics of using noise suppressor+ EQ is really easy to learn in every DAW (in every age, EVERY), so even you can do it, I believe.
3.Once you learn this simple stuff, there will be no need to put this HUUUUGE amounts of delay on your mix (and the great news you still can use your phone as main recording device).
    4. I really sorry for that band that think your vox is good idea, but, once again, how can I judge someone's taste. If it works-fine, is there any physical copies or any traces of "two albums"? Really interested.

    5. Sorry I was hurt you, my first message was just advice and question, really:)) There was no need to flame like that.

You have left a lot of nasty things on my song about my voice without any reason if you didn't like my voice, no need for the hatred for someone who doesn't need pity you are very sad and bitter! stay off my track, i left it open so everyone can see what and who you are, know the tree by it's fruit, rotten to the core. Can you sing?

    thechockehold
    Reply by thechockehold

Since when asking the questions is something nasty? So in case i have no answer... Are you 60+yo? You just sounds like that, and its ok, really, it will explain a lot of things: this karaoke effects, phone recording and especially fun fact that you cant use simple plugins like noise gate\ reduction and EQ.

Cool track, well produced, fun, timeless. Lots of breathing room in the mix, not over compressed leaving the instruments to have their space in the mix.

Description : This song highlights a few different styles of jazz. First it starts with a kinda early 20s and 30s groove. Than it melds into a New Orleans style. Than into a sort of Maynard Ferguson big band jazz/rock groove, and finishing off with the 20s and 30s style again, all held together with some cool horns and bass. All n all, it's...Pretty Cool! Hope you like

Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...

Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : Music by Antonio Carlos Jobim. This particular piano arrangement is from one of jazz sheet piano books I found on scribd. The electric piano is MrRay22 plugin which I played on Casio CDP220 digital piano. This is also a new piece that I learned today so it was quite tricky to get a proper touch at places and overall make the entire thing sound anywhere realistic. I tried many times and this was probably the best take. Also I am relatively new to playing latin piano music. I didn't manipulate any notes after recording - instead I added few virtual vintage amps. I choose jazz but it is a bossa nova latin style. Enjoy and feel free to comment and download.

Description : "Oh no - not jazz metal! You're not supposed to mix those genres together." Yes, but someone's got to and the musical gods have chosen me for the difficult task. 9 mins of instrumental jazz metal - damn I sure know how to write a hit song - US No 1 here I come. Anyway - there's some dark, swinging groovy jazz, with Rhodes and guitar as the main instruments, for a few minutes and then some haunting, thumping evil breaks loose. Look out for the powerful synth horn sound. And then it just gets heavier and heavier before returning to some nice chillgroove funky mystery jazz. Instruments played and/or programmed: electric guitar, bass guitar, electric cello, multiple programmed acoustic drumkits, filtered strings, Rhodes, big synth bass, evil synth horn and a few other assorted synths. I assume this has too much jazz for metallers and too much metal for jazzers. So, only for weirdoes like me who enjoy both. This will surely be too odd for most people but I like to think it's pretty interesting and powerful. Let me know how its weirdness worked for you...
