Description : Ever wanted to build a monument for love, like the Taj Mahal? That's what this song's about. It's another case of less = more, production-wise. Was heavily orchestrated then I stripped it down to basically drum & voice, which I'm doing a lot these days. Back to basics. Loops remaining are from leosmg, LankFrampard, CosmicRayBeats, dxedlxrd, Travis Scott, BlackMansta10, SoleilxLune and Centrist. I wrote it, sang it, recorded it in my noisy living room. Thank you.

A personal and unique musical idea. It's different and I think different stands out from the pack. It's raw, meaningful and a bit in your face.

Cool track!

Less is more for sure (a concept that I have trouble following often unfortunately...)
Your track works well this way. I really dig your voice and the disturbing mood of the track
Well done mate !

I love the minimalist approach. Your vocals with the drums and choir is awesome. The track is effortlessly massive. It feels sluggish and heavy which is perfect for building a monument. The opening percussion reminds me of something Noisia or Ivy Lab would use. Great work.

Thank you. I really appreciate the comment. I've hated my singing voice my whole life and only recently decided screw it, let's just get the most out of it. So your comment is really encouraging. I don't know those bands you mentioned so I'll check them out. Again, thank you!

The percussion is certainly complex. Powerful chorus & break too. Great work.

Thank you. Basically it's just three beats layered. I love to play with looperman beats and loops. It's the funnest thing on earth, and inevitably leads to orchestration and songs. And then when I get a great groove, I just hop on and ride it. So thank you!

This is intense! I love it. The synth hits and the vocals have a tension between them that really adds to the mood. That eerie choir around 2:03 is sick too.

Thank you! Yeah, that synth loop is nice. So much great stuff on this smorgasbord of loops to choose from, and you can always find exactly the perfect thing you need, I've found, if you look hard enough. Thank you, I really appreciate the comment and encouragement!

Thank you, sweetcherries. Y'know, I have very much enjoyed the songs you've posted recently - I've only started coming back to the site recently (even though it's amazing). And I went to your page and listened to some there, WISHING I COULD COMMENT (as I'm sure a lot of others do, too) but it seems they're always disabled. You have a wonderful, wonderful voice and a beautiful way with music - so now I can tell you that in my own comment. Thank you for your wonderful comment here, which means so much coming from you. Your voice is something special so please keep singing and sharing - we need you.

I like it. Dark and foreboding. Vocals work well against the music. Maybe a lead of some sort? Nice job.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. I'm so afraid of boring people that I usually jump in singing within a few seconds, but I'll consider a lead-in. Thanks for the suggestion and the comment.

Description : "Celebrate the Cornerstone," penned by Kay Matteson, John Matteson, and Richard Shekari, is an uplifting contemporary worship song that beautifully encapsulates themes of salvation and divine love. Drawing from biblical imagery, the lyrics highlight Jesus as the Chief Cornerstone—initially rejected but ultimately essential to faith.
