Description : Ever wanted to build a monument for love, like the Taj Mahal? That's what this song's about. It's another case of less = more, production-wise. Was heavily orchestrated then I stripped it down to basically drum & voice, which I'm doing a lot these days. Back to basics. Loops remaining are from leosmg, LankFrampard, CosmicRayBeats, dxedlxrd, Travis Scott, BlackMansta10, SoleilxLune and Centrist. I wrote it, sang it, recorded it in my noisy living room. Thank you.

A personal and unique musical idea. It's different and I think different stands out from the pack. It's raw, meaningful and a bit in your face.

    Cool track!

Less is more for sure (a concept that I have trouble following often unfortunately...)
Your track works well this way. I really dig your voice and the disturbing mood of the track
    Well done mate !

I love the minimalist approach. Your vocals with the drums and choir is awesome. The track is effortlessly massive. It feels sluggish and heavy which is perfect for building a monument. The opening percussion reminds me of something Noisia or Ivy Lab would use. Great work.

Thank you. I really appreciate the comment. I've hated my singing voice my whole life and only recently decided screw it, let's just get the most out of it. So your comment is really encouraging. I don't know those bands you mentioned so I'll check them out. Again, thank you!

The percussion is certainly complex. Powerful chorus & break too. Great work.

Thank you. Basically it's just three beats layered. I love to play with looperman beats and loops. It's the funnest thing on earth, and inevitably leads to orchestration and songs. And then when I get a great groove, I just hop on and ride it. So thank you!

This is intense! I love it. The synth hits and the vocals have a tension between them that really adds to the mood. That eerie choir around 2:03 is sick too.

Thank you! Yeah, that synth loop is nice. So much great stuff on this smorgasbord of loops to choose from, and you can always find exactly the perfect thing you need, I've found, if you look hard enough. Thank you, I really appreciate the comment and encouragement!

    Hi Citizen,
This is amazing! work here, the vocals and music are a perfect match, it truly packs a punch and makes an impact...riveting stuff here, not to mention highly creative also. Much enjoyed! :)

Thank you, sweetcherries. Y'know, I have very much enjoyed the songs you've posted recently - I've only started coming back to the site recently (even though it's amazing). And I went to your page and listened to some there, WISHING I COULD COMMENT (as I'm sure a lot of others do, too) but it seems they're always disabled. You have a wonderful, wonderful voice and a beautiful way with music - so now I can tell you that in my own comment. Thank you for your wonderful comment here, which means so much coming from you. Your voice is something special so please keep singing and sharing - we need you.

Drums and Vocals.....i like this style of music..minimal yet massive in message.

Enjoyed this alot even in your noisy living room lol:)

Thank you, DJ-SLT-UK. I've noticed that a LOT of music is secretly just drum and voice - there may be some other music in the mix but often it's incidental and unnecessary. It's become fascinating to me, especially considering that's how music originated, people banging on drums while chanting and dancing around a fire in a cave of painted animals. Anyhoo...thank you.

I like it. Dark and foreboding. Vocals work well against the music. Maybe a lead of some sort? Nice job.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. I'm so afraid of boring people that I usually jump in singing within a few seconds, but I'll consider a lead-in. Thanks for the suggestion and the comment.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : Here is a new rock track that I recently wrote. I sang and played all the instruments. Drums are from EZ Drummer, everything else was played live. If you like the track feel free to download it. Thanks Kyle!

Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.

Description : Hello Loopies!!!

This song was supposed to be a Bedlam Kids track, but due to the low (none) interest of Pete on continuing that project, I'll upload the remaining tracks as instrumentals as soon as I can.

For now, here's a song written almost 7 months ago, it's called Simple Things.

Hope you enjoy it!!!

Description : This track was inspired by a discussion at work. - Las Vegas has always been an onslaught of humanity. Even on its slowest days, the city is still crowded. And it goes twenty-four hours a day. Lights, sounds, movement. All of it is non-stop. - "Resident Evil - Extinction" presented a different look upon Glitter Gulch, a gambling tourist city that had been forgotten and wasted due to the end of times. - And that is what started our discussion at MORTradio. All of us here have visited Las Vegas, and have always enjoyed our time there. A lot of us here go back often. - One day, while we were embalming, all of us started talking about "end of the world" scenarios. We discussed other scenarios, such as ones like Matheson's "I am Legend", or Romero's living dead apocalypse, or Boyle's "28 Day/Weeks Later", or King's "The Stand", and we all started brainstorming as to how Las Vegas would stand if such a 'end-of-times' thing would actually happen. We agreed on this much. Whoever was trying to get out of Las Vegas, or get into it, would have to be straight forward and determined. That person would have to not think twice about leaving someone behind, or putting someone down. Seems kind of brutal, but it is the reality. - And so MORTradio came up with this track. - ROSINA DEAD VEGAS TREK was mixed on Magix Music Maker 2015, and was created using personal loops, as well as loops from the Looperman contributors that are listed below: - Chuckseabo - Hard Techno Bass

Description : BIG UPDATE 26/02/2014 - So, this was an 18 min track that I have now successfully split in two. 2nd half I uploaded a few weeks ago (Things That Should Always Be, with the bouncy 2 min reggae intro). This is the first half, which has a new mix, a mega chill, meditative ending and a little jazz thrown in for good measure. Takes a few minutes for beat to really kick in. Constantly evolving electric guitar, bass guitar, acoustic drums and lead banjo driven by fat, busy 80BPM grooves with a bit of a reggae and shuffle feel. Also: synth choir voices, dulcimer, violin, cello, shimmering pads. Builds up gradually to nice and rocking and then gets taken back down for the big comedown chill. I really don't know what sort of genre this is except 'far out'. I think it sounds more like a live band than one guy playing instruments and manipulating a DAW. Not my best track but a bit of blissful, sunny island fun. Real positive vibe here so I hope you give it a chance to unfold and unfurl. Sit back, clear your schedule and immerse yourself in these trippy sonic experiments cooked up deep in my off-planet underground laboratory. I have to send the MP3 to Earth via space courier (not cheap).
