Description : Hello! I have been silent on the site for a few weeks. I had some studying to do, unfortunately.
I have tried to make a song that a vocalist could use. Maybe to make some money to pay for the Korg Volca FM that I want to buy. Any feedback on what could be improved is highly appreciated!
(For now I will not allow downloads, if this track cannot be sold, I will open up downloads for the song)
The style is a combination of future bass, vaporwave, trance and I guess a bit of sleep deprivation.

If you have time take a listen and give Allochtune some feedback.
I have made this track some time ago. It's funny, here in the description I still wanted to buy the Volca FM hahaha. I still really like the 80's plucky sounds though. I must say that this site has taught me a lot. If I personally compare this song to my newest song 'Neon Tokyo', the quality has gone up considerably. This has been from all the feedback I have gotten over these past 3 months.
I have used gating heavily throughout the track. This track was basically the first time I was really experimenting with it. I have used 'Gross Beat' to get those gated synths towards the end. I am glad you like the space-beach vibes! And windsurfing on neptune is a really cool way to describe it! Thanks for taking the time to listen to it!
Mixed and mastered well! I like that soft, mono-legato-ish tune going in the background. The variation of patterns, automations and arpeggios gives that space and electronic vibe. Even though ascending arps are always repeated, it doesn't get old to hear! Which means, i love it!
Thanks a lot for your feedback! I appreciate it, this site has taught me a lot this way. Thanks for listening :)
This track has also taken me longer than I would care to admit, but I have learned some new things, so that's good.
Relaxing tune, with some awesome synthetic interest! Nice representation of the various ranges as well. I am thinking of something as listening which might add to my enjoyment of this, which is a second bass for certain sections which would be less "fundamental." This one sounds very sine wave, or possibly heavily low pass filtered. Maybe it would add some sonic depth, I don't know. This had a very "down to earth" feel, which left me nicely calm. Now for some coffee... ha ha. Either way, very nice piece! Fave!
The bass is heavily low pass filtered :)
I do think that the fundamental bass is necessary for the future bass genre.
Even though I have put a lot of time in this song, it somehow felt rushed. I just wanted to be done with it and start a new project. As a fellow producer, I think you probably understand this feeling. I have put a lot of work in it, but it didn't feel finished, in a sense.
Some projects never do, I guess.
I have never considered adding a different, lighter, bass in the song. I do think it would influence the range of the song positively. I will look into it! Thanks for the advice.
I have made that synth from scratch. It is not entirely based on a plug-in, I have used my KORG Monotron and sampled it. Then I put it in Directwave and voila. Just put a lot of reverb on it and you have a dreamy sounding synth.
My biggest problems were rises, build-up and the beats, so I am glad you liked the points that have been my biggest flaws! :D
Thanks for your time and your comment!
Thanks for listening! I am glad it has a good flow according to you, that was one of the things that I tried to work on (having good risers etc). Personally, I thought that the midpart was a bit too long, but I am glad that you liked the whole song :)
Thanks!

This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.

I like the use of portamento with the gated(?) synths toward the end of the track. Really cool space-beach vibes. Windsurfing on neptune!
Cheers
