What do they listen to when they are creating the fabrics of Space and Time?
Questions that can maybe never be answered but only imagined. More tones and drones from the outskirts of the universe and Neomorpheus.

Some amazing tracks you have here. The start of this one reminds me a little of Neil Young's soundtrack to the Jim Jarmusch movie Deadman. Strange, fey, psychedelic and slightly disturbing. Cheers Zoot
I think Ymir just ripped the top of my skull off and touched my brain! No wait... it was only Neo with his magical twanger. Man, that was truly inspirational, David Gilmour would be proud!
How do you even describe this? I guess you can say 4 mins of "holy fuck where am I?" Loved it! I would like it more if you had a sine wave really deep down there, sliding along to add a heavy sub bass. That would take this to a new level... thanks for this piece!
Seriously, man. This track spoke to me. It's the perfect amount of psych, space, and melody. It's droning sub, the slow movements. Your use of atmospheric synths are impeccable. They are placed so well, that you don't really notice all of them. But if you were to take them out, you would definitely miss them. It's super wide open, spaciously speaking. It's nice and mysterious. To me, it's like what I imagine being adrift in space without a ship is like. But, not one of those Major Tom mishap drifts. The kind you'd take if you could, just to be completely isolated from everything, while being totally at one with it all.
I had to download this. Funny thing is, it's over 4 minutes long, but it could easily be another 4.
Highest praises from ValveHalla on this one brother!
I'll tell you there has to be mysterious powers at work here because when I was posting this track I thought damn I wish my bro Aaron would pop back on here soon ! Its been a while dude, hope things are going well for you. Certainly glad to hear you like this. I kind of fell into a bit of a retro rut recently and found myself working on music that although it was cool, just wasn't what I really wanted to be doing. So I have abandoned a lot of tracks and material that I had spent months languishing with and hopefully this one will lead me in a more positive direction. As a matter of fact I intended to work this into more of a song with rhythm and drums but was having a bit of trouble getting something I felt did it justice and retained that mysterious/Other worldly vibe.
I'm super excited to see you back on the board bro. Would love nothing more than to see a new track from you sometime. Anyhow you certainly brightened up my day by popping in on this one. I humbly accept and highly regard all praises from ValveHalla !!!
Do the Gods like music? I don't know. I ask them every night in my prayers (all of them, it takes ages) and not one has ever replied. Bastards.
This is some nice, chilled, mysterious and mystical stuff. First guitar part is good though maybe a bit too trebley. Very minor complaint. Nice warm sub bass underneath. It's already really far out. Just what I like.
1:32 it gets dirtier. 1:41 nice, screechy bend. This has a fairly epic space rock feel. But without drums.
Is there a bit of clipping on the track, perhaps from the guitar? I seem to hear an unwanted crunch in my left ear.
Guitar gets darker and a bit more Eastern towards the end. The kind of thing I probably would have done. Very nice final floaty, synthy ending. A welcome break from the guitar as that large bass synth fades out. Excellent long fade!
Maybe the music video could be you floating in space playing loads of lead guitar as planets and meteors hurtle past you. And then you end up arriving at the God Planet, where they all live, and you ask your important question: "So, do you guys like music?" "Yeah, it's OK", they say. "Well, thanks for that deep insight, guys, you have inspired me with your wisdom", you reply before shooting off back to Earth at warp speed.
Suitably inspired by their profound answer, you quickly write the deep ambient sequel to this track: Genius Gods.
Primordial Nomad, slowly emerging from the ever-shifting depths of space and time...
Hey bro, so yeah this track was really an experimental thing for me in many ways. I wanted to see if I could break away from my recent blues / stoner mode and create something a little more progressive, using influences from bands like Mastodon, Dream Theatre, Tesseract etc., that produce some really far out heavy shit combined with some extremely divergent chording and beautiful melodies. I did discover some clipping in the mix and thought I had taken care of it all but I guess not. I will have to give it another once over and see if I can discover what and where I missed and clean it up. What do you think of the last section? I was very much thinking of some of your tracks when laying this out and purposely worked in a bit of the Eastern vibe. I may have over drove it a bit there but man I just really dug it at the time. I like the idea you had on the video, and the sequel track. Might give it some thought. Thanks for the comments man, always a treat .
Whoops, I should have read both posts before responding below ms. Yeah that's happened top me before as well. Hope you gave it a second listen. Glad you like the track and thanks for the comments bro.
Your versatility is showing again Neo...and I have a smile of satisfaction of my face when I hear an guitarist/artist use the instrument to create the atmosphere with the restrained kind of melody lines that convey the feeling/mind picture rather than demo speed on scales etc (as many do)...love that big fat kind of dark pad that introduces the track...nice patient build (a la Pink Floyd)...very cool smooth singy tone on the guitar...its a fairly minimal mix..where the instrumentation carries the rhythm with the need for anything else....This is really well and thoughtfully done man...fab job...fav from this ol guy....Ed
Ambient music is great in how it allows us to create that mind picture as you put it Ed. Yeah as a guitarist its always fascinating as to what can be done with the instrument, and in particular just with notes. Used drop C tuning here and just 3 chords - D flat minor, Sus 2 on the A string and an A caged major, and just basically picked on the roots. The last section was done by coil tapping the rear pickup with one hand while one finger sliding out the notes on the fret board. All the keys were done in FL Studio using the Sytrus VST. Synth bass track also created with FL Studios' GMS (Groove Machine Synth) with some heavy boosted frequency modulation FX.
Its always great to hear your views Ed, thanks for listen and comments my friend.
I like this one and how it meanders along building subtly. Reminds me a little of Roxys dream-home heartache in how that style of writing just builds tension in the listener. Also a little Radiohead Kid-A like as well. I enjoyed my listen.
Cru
Thanks a lot Cru, glad to get your take on it. I'm not familiar with the songs you mention so I will have to check them out. This is just basically a result of playing around with some Hall reverb and Delay to push the limits of decay time from the effects.
Loving the drones this year Neo. I've been meaning to record some myself, maybe with some slide cigar box guitar. Sweet field recording from the outer edges of space! :D
Hey thanks katz, yeah maybe I'm getting carried away a bit but its fun. I love the Strymon effects pedals, Timeline and Big Sky used on this one. Yeah bang one out bro, interested to hear what you could do on the C box.
If any of the Gods is listening to this now they, will surely get the idea of creating something great...something
that hasn't been created before !
I'm joining Danke in faving and downloading!:) Thanks for sharing this divine event !
Haha, thanks Orlando. I guess, relatively speaking we are all gods in the Looperman universe since we are the creators of its most important entity, the music.
In this time of my life I think too much about time and life...you know I'm 50, and my 3rd child is 1 year old...what do he thinks when he'll be 18 and I will stand on his banquet as a grandfather???
This music will lead me through...
Instant fav and dl...your participation for the site is a biggest prize...
Thank you danke for your high praise. It is most appreciated. I hear and relate to your reference to aging and concerns for our children. I am right there with you. Each day I become more aware of my mortality and cringe at the image I see deteriorating in my mirror. But it cant be reversed. Thankfully I am not a grandfather yet but my son will turn 18 on his next birthday. Anyhow, we can only at this point decide to accept our fates and be thankful for our blessings. For me I only hope that something I do in this life serves a purpose and as insignificant as is, somehow makes a favorable difference. By the way, Morpheus in Greek mythology was the God of dreams.

Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice
Description : This track contains several loops, all of them are from looperman artists - listed below. I don't know if "ambient" fits well for it, but i get most loops from that category. :)
Inspired by the Final Fantasy series and my ex girlfriend. Hope you will enjoy it (not my ex! :D). As always, free to use for a song, any opinions-critics welcomed... UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : Ambient, psychedelic chill out rock or something or rather. Lyrics, vocals, guitars and keyboards myself. One drum loop used (free Loopmasters ambient pack). If you want a bit of a back story on the words check the lyric page.
Description : I made this with Garageband and was inspired by Anime music, such as Naruto. And if you noticed one little part is very similar to one of the melodies.
Description : Depression and sadness can sometimes serve as motivation for creativity as in the case of this track. A few months back I went through a period of loosing a few friends and co-workers. Attended a few funerals and as a result found myself reflecting on life. One night I had the urge to try to transfer my feelings into music and this is what came out. Some baratone guitar accompanied by synth and accapella.
Final EDIT: Further tweaking on levels and a slight change up in the timimg of the choir section.
Description : Hello,
this is a track between composition and cover.
Amandine (Sova Berry or Dine on soundcloud) made a cover of the a cappella "Song of Sophia" by Dead Can Dance.
I liked it very much, so i decided to make an instrumental with her vocals.
Hope you'll like it and if you want to comment, you are welcome, whatever you think.
