Description : So I've been a way for a while, completely at a loss for creativity.
Then last week I was reading through my old notes and found a four line poem scribbled on the back of a page. A week later this happened (Whoop). Hope you like Sci-fi :)

Beautiful, and minimally epic! I'm loving it! Very good sounding depth to the mix, and the stereo field is equally impressive! The lyrics interest me, and it seems like the ideas could apply in many situations. That always makes for good lyric, I think. It was pleasing to hear, and very well created! Fave!

What a brilliant little miracle...I'm absolutely impressed
by this one ! I know very well the nasty feeling when the
creativity tends to slip away, but that's nothing compared to a feeling when it comes back..:) And here it shines !!
    Huge favourite !!

    Compliments and respect______Orlando

Thank you for your kind words Orlando. Now that I've got back into a creative flow, I feel much better. Working on this track has also given me some nifty little production tricks for future songs. So I'm pretty happy with the result.

Like others have mentioned how good the piano is, I tend to agree. I thought your poem and the effects on the vox worked well with the piano effects. It's a solid and focused idea from a songwriter and producer's point of view. Hope this one inspires you for the next one.

Congratulations on a soulful chillout track. Simple and yet a deep message. Stuck in the past, how can one move on? We must learn from the past then move foward.

In the beginning there with the piano, i thought it would turn out into an Adele type of 'hello' song. But I enjoyed this. When you're are stuck for creativity in music, do what i do, get creative in other areas of your life. And this will inspire you back into music making. Bro poetry.com, hahaha i have some poems still on there from way back in the day.. Blessings brother - Billy.

Thank you for the advice BillyD. I've actually started reading again recently and I've found that has helped me a lot.

And I promise never to turn into Adele. Not even once.

I like it a lot T.A...sometimes the best things are those that are not overcomplicated by all the clutter we have at our disposal...that piano is superb...and a very nice/fitting jobon the vocals...with the wee touch of backing pads...about perfect to my mind...and I enjoyed the listen...(something that seldom occurs if I turn on my radio)...great job...definite fav..long enough to leave you waiting for more....

    Cheers Tumbleweed.

I found myself over-thinking everything, even outside my music. So I thought it was time to do something simple and easy on the ears. Glad you enjoyed it.

    Conditional greetings.

This is really lovely stuff and that piano is great.

Even better is when it has the delay added to it. Makes a massive difference and turns it into something new.

I've got to know your voice quite well and I could actually hear it as I started listening to the piano parts.

This is more like an instrumental with a few vocal lines rather than a proper song so it feels a bit short. Maybe you could extend it by a minute or so eg by coming up with some other lines and maybe some other change.

Otherwise, it's good, slightly far out, peaceful, warm stuff so big congrats to you.

A short review for a short track...

    Hi SN.

Thank you for your feedback. This has been an interesting exercise for me. Not sure if I will do more with it or not. I quite like it's simplicity. But I'm glad you could hear the vocals okay. It still takes me ages to get the levels right!

Love sci-fi and poetry! Poetry can be such great inspiration for projects. Have a look at public domain poetry(dot)com for tons of poems free to use and abuse any way you see fit, if in need of some inpspiration. Midispark's art site is another good one, composing music to be paired up with images :p Maybe you could take up slide cigar box ukelele? I bet that would get some creative juices flowing ;)

I've been on poetry, com a few times. I have quite a few books as well. But writing lyrics isn't the problem, its just finding inspiration in general. And slide cigar box ukulele sounds awesome!

Cheers Karl. I got a new beat mixing app and started playing around with all the samples. It was easy to get carried away! But the track would be too dark without them I think. Thanks again, glad you enjoyed :)

Description : Many of you know well that Tumbleweed & Orlando collabs are pretty much well established tradition within LM society by now, and here is the newest example to reinforce that tradition. It's probably the last this year (yet never take it for granted) and I think it has (although not particularly intended) a bit of that seasonal celebrative nature, thus fitting quite well into this festive feel of December. Despite providing it's share of melancholic tones (you can bet who is responsible...haha...) it's a quite happy tune overall...and it doesn't bite, so you're all most welcome to listen and comment !... As always my sincere thanks to Ed !

Description : The spring is in full motion over here and I guess it helped me quite a bit to complete my part of the job on yet another exciting collab with maestro Tumbleweed. Most of our collab works contain at least some aspect which demonstrates something out of ordinary one or another way. This time we got a peculiar combination of mysticism and merciless attacks of soapiness (my bad....haha)....So let's listen to hear whether I'm right or not!....:) As always on such occasions, all my thanks to Ed !

Description : Hi guys another vocal from me, this time Matthias gave his blessing. It's to his beautiful return track chillout vibe. It's a tribute to my closest here on LM. My voice a few ways including, the balls to do a harmony channel too. There's 30+ shout outs, so listen up, you may here your name. It's community based and some of you play characters. Switch the fucking volume UP, it's a builder. Love the Stokesey and Cyber lines :))) Sorry girls it was a lads love in.
