Description : This is the best backing track I could come up with for my Country (?) lyrics. It has taken 4 years (off & on)to come up with a finished tune. I tried to get someone else to sing it to no avail, so I did it. I misplaced the audio file s I don't know if any Looperman folks loops are in it.

If you have time take a listen and give vigwig some feedback.
This is a very signature song from you, as far as my ears hear it. The panning guitar parts are definitely part of that signature. Fun and groovy throughout! Definitely more influenced by old style country, and not this modern pop junk they try to sell on the radio. Makes me happy to hear your stuff again!
I am so glad you started doing your own lyrics, they fit the music and the song just shouts vigwig! The words are great, fun and totally you. "Get the kids out of the line of fire", sad comment on life but a great line nonetheless.
I am going to dl this and fav, this one is right up there with your Camel song from a few years ago!!
Sorry I am so late to see your comment, Wayne. Yeah,m I've been kind of stuck in the blues genre these days. This one is old but it is newly posted. I tried to get someone to sing it but couldn't. I have a track that is a collaboration with Joe Funktastic that I tinkered with a few years ago and never posted it.Thanks for listening and for the comments. Vic
Hey Vic...unfortunately no vocals coming from this old guy...I would smoke a ton of cigars & drink a shit load of whiskey if I thought it would help me sing like one of those ol blues guys...but I would just end up in the morgue....Best country folk vocalist I know of on the site goes by the handle ImproveWithError...did a collab with him a year or 2 ago...but doing your own thing sounds fine to me...Ed
It is our loss not hearing you vocalize. You should try it at home and find your comfort zone. Record yourself and listen to the replay. You can just throw awauy the bad stuff and try again. Vic
Good for you vigwig...I have never been brave enough to try doing a vocal myself (for which the listening public should be grateful)...some nice traditional elements in there (guitars)...has a wee touch of that old & a bit of the new...keep doing it man...we could use a bit more country around here....its an honest genre thats great for those story songs...Ed
Thanks for the listen and kind words. Do you have a breathy, raspy voice or can you massage it into one? With a moniker like Tumbleweed, I'd listen. Maybe no Crystal Gayle but at least a Don Williams or Tom T Hall. I got a stylized country-ishsong "My Baby's Got No Juice" which is pretty good. Not much on lyrics but loaded with signature country elements.

Description : Here is a country song that I wrote and recorded. I played all the instruments and sang (not the best singer but its fun) as well, drums are from ezdrummer. If you like the track feel free to download it and thanks for listening.
Description : It was a long winter here, at Dartmoor. 4 Month of continued rain and damp. And suddenly (Drummroll), the sun came back. That did remind me of a collaboration with Silver Bella and her Acapella "Keep the Faith" from last year. A positive song which could have the potential to make a difference to the day. Thanks SB :-)
Description : I was actually just trying to mix up some new and old rhythms a while ago and come up with a track that just drew me in. Found it and thought I would put it out there for you guys to chew on. Let me know what you think. Send me some comments.
Description : This is my first serious attempt at a country song.
I am playing all instruments except for the drums....they are MIDI.
The song allowed me the opportunity to try my son-in-laws 1981 Gibson J40 acoustic, my new Dean Resonator Guitar and my new harmonica.
I hope you enjoy.
