Description : Hey guys, this is a little ambient WIP ive been working on. Still looking on filling the track out a bit more but looking for your thoughts so far.

Im going for the kind of track that you could play in the background of a game you know?, nothing too in your face. Im also working on another version of this same track that is more upbeat should be uploaded in the next few days :)
. also everything is mine no loops or anything

Hope you guys enjoy :)

This is pretty cool, especially considering ambient is not my drug of choice. I think you've created a great background track here, and I think that is what most of the best modern ambient is limited to. Interesting choice of sounds to fill the spectrum, and very cool stereo field. I could see this fitting in well in a dramatic film. It seems that you've been trying some new things, and I applaud you for that. This has moments that remind me of depeche mode, and that makes me happy. Enjoyable listen in all aspects! Fave!

    Hey man :)

    "great background track here"
Yeah exactly what i was going for. something not soo in your face just something for the background of a game or film like you said.

"It seems that you've been trying some new thing"
Yeah ive been experimenting with different genres and different kinds of sounds seeing what i come up with.

"moments that remind me of depeche mode"
Haha yeah ive heard that before, cant remember if it was from yourself. Dont know how that happens though, i dont listen to alot of Depeche Mode.. ill need to get listening though haha

Thanks for the feedback spiv :D

    All the best.

    hey there xyilent

like the track man , think it fits the script i.e background to a game ,nothing to over powering ,if i was to add any thing i would let some of the separate elements speak on there own more the synth line is really kool that comes in at 2.30 ish just a wee mini break down wiv just the chords synth etc , but thats just my two pennies worth
    really nice work n atmos

my brain hears a subass arp 1/16 notes up to down. After a while it may get repetitive though because its such a chill track. Anyway I love the reverbs they sound great in this track :)

    HEY! :)

yeah ive actually already got something similar in the track, its not the version ive got uploaded though.
yeah im feeling like theres too much reverb towards the end gets a little overpowering, ive corrected that too in the version im working on.

    Thanks for the comment man

Really nice as it is to be fair, maybe a more low end Bass Drum possibly like a heart beat if you are not happy and need more bass.

    Incredibly chill.
I think it could withstand a little more bass being added to it.
Other than that, not much else needs to be changed!

Yeah ive been thinking the same but any bass i use seems to overpower the song even when i drop the vol and eq. it still doesnt feel right. but im still looking into it

    Thanks for the feedback :)

Description : This is for my friend Danke who can't sleep at night. Yes, heat, heat...I guess Africa is hotter, but don't let the title and intro as well, deceive you! This is not African music nor the imitation of it. It's just a picture of starry African sky at night, painted with my european musical sensibilities and some imagination. So this is for Danke in the first place and then maybe for anyone who would like to fall asleep.:)...
Good night!:)

Description : Dear Loopers...Let Ed and me take you to the world of yet another musical fantasy born out of our latest collab efforts. Ed provided basic structure of the track with ever solid rhythm section, tasty synths and vocal pads while I took
on a role of pretending to be multi-instrumentalist again by smuggling in some sweet strings, bulgarian flute, celtic harp,
unexpectedly blurry piano and this time a tiny bit of real live acoustic guitar...what an adventure for a vst/keyboard guy..:) As always
my sincere thanks to Ed not only for letting me enjoy his great musical company but also for still standing as one of the firm pillars of Looperman society !

Description : I went to the beach and set up my stereo recording mic under a gazebo near it (I apologize for some of the air gusts being recorded haha; we had a strong SE wind that day :P Tried my best to place it out of the wind); wanted to record myself playing live and do some cheesy roleplay in the process - wanted to make it feel like the listener was sitting there beside me. ** This is what the beach looks like: http://static.travel.usnews.com/images/destinations/80/south_padre_island_main.jpg **

Lo and behold, I'm about halfway through the song when my buddy Mark, a friend from college, heard me singing and decided to join me (he seems to never part with his guitar lol).

The expression on his face was that of confusion as to why I had my mic with me and a audio-capturing device, which I plugged into an outdoor electrical plug that the gazebo owners installed lol (I've done recordings like this before but didn't like the results; we messed up a little at the end but I was like meh it's not bad anyways.) but I'm glad he didn't say it out loud or it would have ruined the recording lol. Luckily, I was playing a song he and I wrote together some time ago, so he was able to just jump right in. He's a great guitar player.

Even though it was a little awkward at the end since we hadn't seen each other for like 4 months (you might be able to tell by the way I responded to his "thats so cool" comment haha), I think it turned out just fine. It was a lovely evening and the clouds were all poofy and happy. Lots of people were there too, though I made sure to sit far away from all of them. Ahh, it was a beautiful day. I'm glad I live by the ocean :P * Just kidding, I recorded this in my studio; though I do live close to the water, this was not recorded there :P I did everything, down to the wind blowing into the mic, except for the sound of water and the kids in the background. I got those sounds here: freesfx.co.uk/login/

The guitars and vocals were one-takes to give a more realistic feel. No pitch-correction or autotune. Just wanted to try making another soundscape (or whatever you want to call this :P) about what it's like to live by the ocean.

Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice

Description : Glen Cloy is one of the glens of Antrim (Tumbleweed's county) in Northern Ireland. The little people, actualy fairies, populate all of them and they all have very old ghost stories that have been told for centuries (and still are)...This one is about Shaman of old and his journeys through the spiritual world...That sums up what Ed told me about the concept for our 7th (how convenient^^) collab work. The main core of the track is Ed's work and the original length was 5:18, but I wouldn't have been Orlando if I didn't tempt to compose my longest intro to date (3:10) to inject my own fantasies about little creatures of Glen Cloy (soft spot for spiritual world..hehe..). Other than that I also added some synths arrangements and vocal samples for the rest of the track and probably ruined it a bit..haha..but that's how collabs are sometimes..:)^^.....All my thanks to Ed...and Irish ghosts ofcourse...
