Description : Guys, I had this vison in my head like a short movie, I keep seeing my dear friend who is a top man in LM. Walking semi drunk with wonderful Dick Tracy type suit and hat in a dark ally in the City of vice. While this images flashing in my head, this tune was developing in my head too. So wonderfully '80s!!! (Which is my land!) Maybe deserved some legendary synth drums, the Alesis Hr16 or the Linn9000 drum sets.... obviously lack a vocal, anyway i like it so much, absolutely definitely fav!

Wow man, that was a fun ride, thank you for that. Thank you for the nostalgia that is Dick Tracy as well lol. I really liked the drum's you chose, very vintage sound, and a nice reliable loop. Outstanding progression throughout the song, I really felt like I was being guided instead of pushed or pulled, it was nice. Good job.

Hello stranger .... great music as always.
I don't get your detective I actually get myself driving down my favorite road around here which I've mentioned before the a55 skimming along the coast and through the mountains.
In fact I might download this later and take it for a spin.
My granddaughter has poked something in my headphone socket on the front of my pc and it's dulled the right channel which is making it a little difficult to do stuff but doing stuff again I am.
Lead won't reach around the back to the soundcard but hey ho.

Very nice track Jamid. I enjoy this music while I am driving or while painting watercolors, it can help to focus and concentrate on one thing like a meditation. I also think this would work as a cinematic piece in a film, showing a passage of time or a montage. Always impressed with what you bring!

HaHa....hey jamid...cant say I have pictured our talented friend Orlando drunk...but you do set a cool scene here..it has that bit of old-time detective movie vibe that would fit Orlando`s appearance....you have nice width on the mix...I think the drums work really well...I always have a hell of a time finding drums I like so I know it can be lots of trying & searching for what fits the music just right (make a big difference too...as you know)...the ride cymbal addition is spot on...you just keep getting better...well done....keep on....Ed

Very cool groove, with a solid melody...
The distorting drums, sound cool but never
the less disturbs the balance, of harmony of what
you've got going on here...My view only... :)
Those dynamics work real nice, put meat on those
drums with some fat, not distortion...
Other then that, top shelf project got style
I hear a lot of good things, in this track...

    Peace...TG.

    Jamid buddy, good morning!
Excellent nice vibes, film composition and good mixing.
But I think, as I hear it in the monitor in my studio, that you will need more drums, purity, to be on par with other audio and upload the reverbe, since it seems to be a bit "ahead" of other musical elements of composition. It is a good job!

Description : This is for my friend Danke who can't sleep at night. Yes, heat, heat...I guess Africa is hotter, but don't let the title and intro as well, deceive you! This is not African music nor the imitation of it. It's just a picture of starry African sky at night, painted with my european musical sensibilities and some imagination. Description : Dear Loopers...Let Ed and me take you to the world of yet another musical fantasy born out of our latest collab efforts. Ed provided basic structure of the track with ever solid rhythm section, tasty synths and vocal pads while I took
on a role of pretending to be multi-instrumentalist again by smuggling in some sweet strings, bulgarian flute, celtic harp,
unexpectedly blurry piano and this time a tiny bit of real live acoustic guitar...what an adventure for a vst/keyboard guy..:) As always

Description : I went to the beach and set up my stereo recording mic under a gazebo near it (I apologize for some of the air gusts being recorded haha; we had a strong SE wind that day :P Tried my best to place it out of the wind); wanted to record myself playing live and do some cheesy roleplay in the process - wanted to make it feel like the listener was sitting there beside me. ** This is what the beach looks like: http://static.travel.usnews.com/images/destinations/80/south_padre_island_main.jpg **

Lo and behold, I'm about halfway through the song when my buddy Mark, a friend from college, heard me singing and decided to join me (he seems to never part with his guitar lol).

The expression on his face was that of confusion as to why I had my mic with me and a audio-capturing device, which I plugged into an outdoor electrical plug that the gazebo owners installed lol (I've done recordings like this before but didn't like the results; we messed up a little at the end but I was like meh it's not bad anyways.) but I'm glad he didn't say it out loud or it would have ruined the recording lol. Luckily, I was playing a song he and I wrote together some time ago, so he was able to just jump right in. He's a great guitar player.

Even though it was a little awkward at the end since we hadn't seen each other for like 4 months (you might be able to tell by the way I responded to his "thats so cool" comment haha), I think it turned out just fine. It was a lovely evening and the clouds were all poofy and happy. Lots of people were there too, though I made sure to sit far away from all of them. Ahh, it was a beautiful day. I'm glad I live by the ocean :P * Just kidding, I recorded this in my studio; though I do live close to the water, this was not recorded there :P I did everything, down to the wind blowing into the mic, except for the sound of water and the kids in the background. I got those sounds here: freesfx.co.uk/login/

The guitars and vocals were one-takes to give a more realistic feel. No pitch-correction or autotune. Just wanted to try making another soundscape (or whatever you want to call this :P) about what it's like to live by the ocean.

Description : While I concluded the previous year with the shortest track ever uploaded it seemed only appropriate to begin the new one with my longest track ever. Description : Glen Cloy is one of the glens of Antrim (Tumbleweed's county) in Northern Ireland. The little people, actualy fairies, populate all of them and they all have very old ghost stories that have been told for centuries (and still are)...This one is about Shaman of old and his journeys through the spiritual world...That sums up what Ed told me about the concept for our 7th (how convenient^^) collab work. The main core of the track is Ed's work and the original length was 5:18, but I wouldn't have been Orlando if I didn't tempt to compose my longest intro to date (3:10) to inject my own fantasies about little creatures of Glen Cloy (soft spot for spiritual world..hehe..). Other than that I also added some synths arrangements and vocal samples for the rest of the track and probably ruined it a bit..haha..but that's how collabs are sometimes..:)^^.....All my thanks to Ed...and Irish ghosts ofcourse...

Description : Last time when I uploaded my track called "The Ring Of Saturn" many reviewers stated that it should belong under "ambient" category, since I tagged it as "cinematic"... so this led me to decision to give you the mother of all ambient pieces and here it is!:)Yet, it has something in common with the previous one....you won't need your sleeping pills... again..:)^^

Tags : | Ambient | 9.59 MB

Description : It's been a while since my last upload, yet here is finally the new one and it's 'dangerous' as it gets cause this time I ultimately decided to dedicate this thing to my dear friend Ed, the man well known to Looperman audience as Tumbleweed.. He has been my huge inspiration for those past few years and always will be. Luckily we've made some pretty decent stuff together and more is to come. Working with Ed helped me to improve alot and this composition is now my way of saying 'thank you' to him and music should express my gratitude better than words....One might expect this will be Irish (or Celtic) music, but it's not necessarily the case...as the title suggests it's merely the touch of it....it's like a mirage in the highland mist and it's full of orlandesque crap to be honest...haha...yet I decided to include a tiny snippet of a famous traditional Irish song at the very end of the track and I bet you will recognize it instantly ...particularly for the lads with Irish roots this shouldn't be a problem...:) So, Ed...put your headphones on and be merciful my friend...:)

UPDATE: 10th March 2016 / Today I decided to do an
alternative mix of the track...and hell yeah, I think it sounds much better now !:)
