Description : This is a highly experimental track.
I'm putting it under Electronic as i have no idea what kind of electronic music this falls under. I was hoping some of you might shed some light :).
Some Sounds from the launch of the Curiosity Rover Mission to Mars and some spoken vocals from some of the scientists involved in the project are used in the audio track so All Credit To Them for the audio samples which are available on their archives.

Super cool track you've done here! And I would have to agree about the breakbeat ties in here. I love some good breakbeat, and you've experimented and brought some modern influences in. I find many of the rhythms quite jazzy, which makes it all that much better! Kudos for the CC release as well! I noticed on your profile that you mentioned Genesis, and that made me happy... their work seems so under-appreciated these days. I've been watching a bunch of auctions for "ABACAB" vinyl lately, just can't decide what cover color variation to go for. I'm happy I listened to this track though! Faved and downloaded!
Thank you so much 4 the support!

I have a pack of Rex Loops that came with my Audio Interface most are jazz and other funky stuff, what i do is mash different rex loops into a unique loop , i'm surprised you noticed, you have good ears .
"Kudos for the CC release as well"
Felt appropriate, since i'm using also freely available samples.
"you mentioned Genesis"
Amazing tunes ;) and i have a very soft spot for 80's music, maybe because i was born in the early 80's, so it's kinda embedded in my brain.
"their work seems so under-appreciated these days"
True.
"just can't decide what cover color "
Good Album, I would go for Yellow, Green and Red simply coz it's my country's flag lol.

Thanks mate it does mean a lot, and helps me keep going.
Fantastic and instantly reminded me of The Alan Parsons Project.
Doesn't particularly sound like him but same kind of vibe same kind of story telling.
If you haven't heard of him he was one of the main producers and engineers of Dark Side of the Moon WITH THE Floyd..
If you aint heard of him he's done quite a few albumbs get a listen to this track ... I ROBOT.
i THINK YOU'LL LIKE THIS GUY ....
This would be breakbeat in my opinion, but I don't think categorisation is so terribly important. All in all this is very nicely produced track and I believe there will be more…:)
Thank you very for you input Orlando, much appreciated.
"but I don't think categorization is so terribly important"
I agree, but is just good to know what it sounds like to others. For Example i would never have thought "Break Beat" and the reason why is that i usually don't listen to that genre, i have no idea about it's structure( although most electronic music is somewhat similar in that regard ) or what makes it tick.
The idea of producing it was unthinkable to me.
"All in all this is very nicely produced track"
Thanks I'm glad you think so ;)
Very nice track, telling a story...good clarity of the mix, sounds great from this end for sure, nice pads/synths used with a very good beat, has a touch of dance about this one...one of the better tracks heard here today doing reviews so far...impressive work matey...FAV...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
Description : Feel free to check out the video on YT as well (Alan McLaren Project - Upside Down) of this 6min journey from electronic to rock with some psychedelic moments...
This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
