Description : This is for my friend Danke who can't sleep at night. Yes, heat, heat...I guess Africa is hotter, but don't let the title and intro as well, deceive you! This is not African music nor the imitation of it. It's just a picture of starry African sky at night, painted with my european musical sensibilities and some imagination. So this is for Danke in the first place and then maybe for anyone who would like to fall asleep.:)...
Good night!:)

Description : Guys, I have been asked again to do another track for another friend's son.
He has asked me to do the track with an eighties heavy ascent.
I have come up with this I hope you all like it.
Description : Dear Loopers...Let Ed and me take you to the world of yet another musical fantasy born out of our latest collab efforts. Ed provided basic structure of the track with ever solid rhythm section, tasty synths and vocal pads while I took
on a role of pretending to be multi-instrumentalist again by smuggling in some sweet strings, bulgarian flute, celtic harp,
unexpectedly blurry piano and this time a tiny bit of real live acoustic guitar...what an adventure for a vst/keyboard guy..:) As always
my sincere thanks to Ed not only for letting me enjoy his great musical company but also for still standing as one of the firm pillars of Looperman society !
Description : Un tema sencillo, suave. Espero que les guste.

Description : I went to the beach and set up my stereo recording mic under a gazebo near it (I apologize for some of the air gusts being recorded haha; we had a strong SE wind that day :P Tried my best to place it out of the wind); wanted to record myself playing live and do some cheesy roleplay in the process - wanted to make it feel like the listener was sitting there beside me. ** This is what the beach looks like: http://static.travel.usnews.com/images/destinations/80/south_padre_island_main.jpg **
Lo and behold, I'm about halfway through the song when my buddy Mark, a friend from college, heard me singing and decided to join me (he seems to never part with his guitar lol).
The expression on his face was that of confusion as to why I had my mic with me and a audio-capturing device, which I plugged into an outdoor electrical plug that the gazebo owners installed lol (I've done recordings like this before but didn't like the results; we messed up a little at the end but I was like meh it's not bad anyways.) but I'm glad he didn't say it out loud or it would have ruined the recording lol. Luckily, I was playing a song he and I wrote together some time ago, so he was able to just jump right in. He's a great guitar player.
Even though it was a little awkward at the end since we hadn't seen each other for like 4 months (you might be able to tell by the way I responded to his "thats so cool" comment haha), I think it turned out just fine. It was a lovely evening and the clouds were all poofy and happy. Lots of people were there too, though I made sure to sit far away from all of them. Ahh, it was a beautiful day. I'm glad I live by the ocean :P * Just kidding, I recorded this in my studio; though I do live close to the water, this was not recorded there :P I did everything, down to the wind blowing into the mic, except for the sound of water and the kids in the background. I got those sounds here: freesfx.co.uk/login/
The guitars and vocals were one-takes to give a more realistic feel. No pitch-correction or autotune. Just wanted to try making another soundscape (or whatever you want to call this :P) about what it's like to live by the ocean.

Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice

Description : Glen Cloy is one of the glens of Antrim (Tumbleweed's county) in Northern Ireland. The little people, actualy fairies, populate all of them and they all have very old ghost stories that have been told for centuries (and still are)...This one is about Shaman of old and his journeys through the spiritual world...That sums up what Ed told me about the concept for our 7th (how convenient^^) collab work. The main core of the track is Ed's work and the original length was 5:18, but I wouldn't have been Orlando if I didn't tempt to compose my longest intro to date (3:10) to inject my own fantasies about little creatures of Glen Cloy (soft spot for spiritual world..hehe..). Other than that I also added some synths arrangements and vocal samples for the rest of the track and probably ruined it a bit..haha..but that's how collabs are sometimes..:)^^.....All my thanks to Ed...and Irish ghosts ofcourse...
Description : Guys, I've Just looked at my old music archives.
Ive stumbled upon this free Vst called Piano one.
I have never experienced sounds so true to a real piano, Ive paid a lot of money to a very well-known company for such vst which Ive never used because it did not sound like a piano.
The music of this track is replicated; However, the piano sounds are done with this vst.
I thought to share this little gem with you guys.

calm, relaxing, transports us to an environment of peace and high vibrations, makes us float
Hello Orlando,
somehow I stumbled upon this wonderful piece of music by accident and thoroughly enjoyed it. You truly understood the ambient genre and implemented it brilliantly here. I don't know if you know Lucia Hwong, she was on the "Private" label at the time and your track reminded me of some of her music... but you know what it's like, with comparisons like that... it's probably totally subjective. Crazy that the track even suggests smells to me... small campfire and stuff...
Many Thanks,
Micky
hope it helps our friend danke...I was enjoying it too much for a nap myself Leon...cheers...Ed
Wow I just came across your tune here, and I am so glad I got to hear it. Such a nice track.

Beautiful melody that takes you away. Should be a movie score for sure. You have a great talent for painting a mood. Thanks for the listen . Pat Dinnel
Smooth jam you got here... Well done.
Mate, how come all of the ladies give you nice feedbacks ?????
Hi again Orlando!
I'm a bit lazy so I'm lending some quotes from the fellow loopers to express my feelings for this masterpiece:
"ethereal"
"darkness is another form of light"
"a master of painting musical pictures for the mind"
"truly melodious"
Especially "darkness is another form of light" is what this is. And I think Soundhound should get a special price for that line.
Cheers/ SJ =)
teach me how to make percussions like you! lol in all seriousness a great track man very soothing
Well here I am just waking up, grabbed a cup of coffee and decided to check out some tracks and this is the first one I listen to. I hope the coffee kicks in soon cause this put me back in la la land!(haha)
A beautiful and relaxing melody. Very interesting drums at the intro. It does bear some resemblance to Legend of Zelda.
Great track Orlando, now I'm off for a second cup of coffee !
This is relaxing!
Hello matey,
Huge thanks for the inspiration mate.
What a sexy song this is..:) Extra vibe for this extra song. Nice changes in mood were mentioned before by fellow loopers
and rightly so. Those squeaking brakes in the end could lead to a sequel titled "Girl In A Hospital"..haha...that would be
also very special musical challenge...:) Well done matey!
Take a look I hope you like?

Really don't understand ambient but it is well put together, your technical skill is excellent. I'm sure this is a smash in your genre. GREAT JOB!
Sooo. Dreamy. Beautiful. Those spacious accents to the far L and R are lovely to my ears :) Good job! Make MOAR!!

Wonderful and very different. All best wishes.
The Legend of Zelda is an old nintendo entertainment system game. A Medieval adventure through mystical lands. I can see where Gramo gets that vibe. Alot of the music for the newer versions of the game are similar to this excellent sound painting.
Beautif... zzzzZZZZzzzz It's working :p We'll call you Picasso of sound :D If a starry night sky was sound... Zzzzzzz See, it's working and it's daytime!!
I like!

Fine drums on the intro section - I really like the resonance and grooves, whish you continue a bit longer with them throughout the track. wonderful quasi-oriental atmosphere, I am really enjoying this type of sounds.
Thanks also for nice comments on my last track. I had to delete that one and couldn't reply the comments, hope you do not mind.
Nice day to you, Alex
Great work, almost sounds like something out of the Legend of Zelda. Light and mystical. Digs it. peace

Hello mate,
How is Africa???? Is it still worm?
Let me know when you come back.

Ahh such a sweet sweet collage of sounds. Where in Africa are you. I hear the Senegalese stringed instruments. North African beats. The voice of the Wolof, The ghosts of Tomboctu as the Tuareg cross the Sahara, the Fulani, the Morrocan traders. The secret Mauritanians moving there slaves. I hear it all in this song.
cru
lets hear it..
Very creative, ethereal piece of music. Nice description, helped set the scene. Great choice of instruments and well executed as far as composition. I love finding music like this to fall asleep to, it's so peaceful and calming.
You are back on a roll Orlando, great job!

Loving the percussion in the intro. Very fluid.
Softly melodic. I can feel the tropic heat. The painting is pictured clear. Amazing work :)
Very clean and melodious track. Love how the intro transitions into a chill-out track. Did not expect that. Nice instrumental and lovely melody. Great work!
good transitions over the start.. and truly melodious.
overall-a nice listen.

Cool track hope it helps "D" as well as others...
Nice groove simple and true, the natural blends of harmonics
used here have been used for generations, for such mentally states
of mind...
People like us that PLAY..Music we see more then others, it's
hard to turn it off at night, for us darkness is another form of light...
If you get my drift...
Very cool gift...
