Description : Guys, I have been asked again to do another track for another friend's son.
He has asked me to do the track with an eighties heavy ascent.
I have come up with this I hope you all like it.
Description : This is for my friend Danke who can't sleep at night. Yes, heat, heat...I guess Africa is hotter, but don't let the title and intro as well, deceive you! This is not African music nor the imitation of it. It's just a picture of starry African sky at night, painted with my european musical sensibilities and some imagination. So this is for Danke in the first place and then maybe for anyone who would like to fall asleep.:)...
Good night!:)
Description : Dear Loopers...Let Ed and me take you to the world of yet another musical fantasy born out of our latest collab efforts. Ed provided basic structure of the track with ever solid rhythm section, tasty synths and vocal pads while I took
on a role of pretending to be multi-instrumentalist again by smuggling in some sweet strings, bulgarian flute, celtic harp,
unexpectedly blurry piano and this time a tiny bit of real live acoustic guitar...what an adventure for a vst/keyboard guy..:) As always
my sincere thanks to Ed not only for letting me enjoy his great musical company but also for still standing as one of the firm pillars of Looperman society !
Description : Un tema sencillo, suave. Espero que les guste.
Description : I just painted a picture of abandoned sanctuary and I thought it could sound like this...:)
Description : I went to the beach and set up my stereo recording mic under a gazebo near it (I apologize for some of the air gusts being recorded haha; we had a strong SE wind that day :P Tried my best to place it out of the wind); wanted to record myself playing live and do some cheesy roleplay in the process - wanted to make it feel like the listener was sitting there beside me. ** This is what the beach looks like: http://static.travel.usnews.com/images/destinations/80/south_padre_island_main.jpg **
Lo and behold, I'm about halfway through the song when my buddy Mark, a friend from college, heard me singing and decided to join me (he seems to never part with his guitar lol).
The expression on his face was that of confusion as to why I had my mic with me and a audio-capturing device, which I plugged into an outdoor electrical plug that the gazebo owners installed lol (I've done recordings like this before but didn't like the results; we messed up a little at the end but I was like meh it's not bad anyways.) but I'm glad he didn't say it out loud or it would have ruined the recording lol. Luckily, I was playing a song he and I wrote together some time ago, so he was able to just jump right in. He's a great guitar player.
Even though it was a little awkward at the end since we hadn't seen each other for like 4 months (you might be able to tell by the way I responded to his "thats so cool" comment haha), I think it turned out just fine. It was a lovely evening and the clouds were all poofy and happy. Lots of people were there too, though I made sure to sit far away from all of them. Ahh, it was a beautiful day. I'm glad I live by the ocean :P * Just kidding, I recorded this in my studio; though I do live close to the water, this was not recorded there :P I did everything, down to the wind blowing into the mic, except for the sound of water and the kids in the background. I got those sounds here: freesfx.co.uk/login/
The guitars and vocals were one-takes to give a more realistic feel. No pitch-correction or autotune. Just wanted to try making another soundscape (or whatever you want to call this :P) about what it's like to live by the ocean.
Description : the other end of the scale from me, yep people, this is a ballad. its for all the people who have lost somebody long before their time was due,
i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses
its to Matthias music Du Bist Nicht Mehr Hier almost the same title, He has suffered too that's why he wrote the music and dedicated it to his brother. i hope i have done it justice

Description : Glen Cloy is one of the glens of Antrim (Tumbleweed's county) in Northern Ireland. The little people, actualy fairies, populate all of them and they all have very old ghost stories that have been told for centuries (and still are)...This one is about Shaman of old and his journeys through the spiritual world...That sums up what Ed told me about the concept for our 7th (how convenient^^) collab work. The main core of the track is Ed's work and the original length was 5:18, but I wouldn't have been Orlando if I didn't tempt to compose my longest intro to date (3:10) to inject my own fantasies about little creatures of Glen Cloy (soft spot for spiritual world..hehe..). Other than that I also added some synths arrangements and vocal samples for the rest of the track and probably ruined it a bit..haha..but that's how collabs are sometimes..:)^^.....All my thanks to Ed...and Irish ghosts ofcourse...
don't worry bro
woow, i think the sound selection is pretty dope
Jamid all your music is fire bro, Your leveling is superb I gotta know how you do it please, do you just go by your ears or do you go by metering, or is it a combination of both please let me know bro yours sounds really good and I'm still learning so any advise would be so kind any way nice track all the way through, sorry I don't know how to translate it. Hughey!!
Excellent work bro.
Really cool, I don't even know what genre to put this one in. Sort of an ethnic electronic masterpiece. Sometimes the best work comes quicly. I agree with Joe, it needs a little more TLC, but really nice work.

wow man.this is really well done..love the sound...exelant my friend
Fresh catchy and interesting enjoyed!!
Jamid,
Interesting track. This could be classed as Cinematic as well as Ambient. I pictured (in my mind) a robotic factory hard at work while I listened.
Mark.
Nice ... It has a very catchy melody to it ... to be honest I think this would make a great vocal song ... has a lot of space for some great wordplay ... maybe a female pop singer with a reggae vibe ... kinda what I was hearing in my head as I listened ... great production value sounded very nice comin out of my speakers ... enjoyed Great work!
I like it! It definitely has a great energy and vibe about it. I was tapping my feet along to it while I listened.
And, some of the best songs come together really quickly...so if it only took 35 minutes then that's great lol
eshar
Impressive for 35 minutes!
Sounds really unique with what sounds to me like pan flutes.
Well done!
Thirty five minutes? Dang! I'm impressed.
Nice beats and melody...
Very cool track Jamid, love the flow to it has a really upbeat feeling to it.
hello Jamid, I love how soothing and comforting your tracks are, you seem to know just the right sounds o use and calm my mind. I love it, please keep making more.
Very creative track, very original, would like a to hear a build up to the intro rather than it just jumping out at me, but other than that it's a very well put together piece that stands out. Good work.
Ughhh...haven't heard this one yet...seems to be 1 year
old..:) This track is really pleasant and relaxing to listen to...thanks for sharing it matey!:)
Compliments______Orlando

Fun, rhythmic, interesting and enjoyable.
Very nice.

Very nice Jamid.
I can imagine this fitting easily into cinematic.
How on earth you lot create so much so fast is beyond me ... this would take me days!
awesome :D reminds me of Crash Bandicoot:Wrath of Cortex
could I use this in a mini-mix with the other 1 hour tracks
Sounds like a blend between a video game and something I'd hear in an animated movie haha. Really cool, and quite impressive for doing it in 35 minutes! Are those flutes sounds? lol they sound like a sharp synth hit but I can't tell haha.
ez jamid , enjoyed listening to this has a quirky happy vibe lots of layers n changes off to listen to more
Hey Jamid
Man this is nice, really can not pick out anything that sounds out of place in this one, this piece has a nice happy type vibe about it, love it...Really surprised this hasn't received more reviews, Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...
This is strange dear jamid you uses the same word as DesignedImpression for a comment on my track I found that pretty funny :)

Neat, something fresh and interesting. The mix is good, I liked the layers under that main synth. Sounds complex yet simple at best. For useful critiq I am unsure how to further this track more while keeping the same vibe with interest. Listening and one cannot think of additional placements due to indulgence in current form of this state of mind. There will be others that have the right info for you, as a listener the experience was worth of its time. Thanks for the share, Peace.
