I almost always write fairly long and detailed reviews. This one is qute short for me. That’s probably because there wasn’t that much variation in the track so I didn’t have so much to say.
I’d suggest going back and auditioning some new parts. You could probably do more with the piano parts. Maybe chop them up and re-order them as I’m sure other good melodies can be made out of them. Also, audition some other d’n’b drum loops to find the basis for another section you can take this into.
I’d also try having the same bass part played by another bass synth as that can give it quite a different character. Then vary that a bit and you’ll have a nice, new, strongly related part.
So many ways to make more of what you have – something I do all the time in my music work.
Good luck and I look forward to hearing an improvement some time.
Greetings. Nice ambient intro and the crackly record scratch stuff works well. Beautiful piano.
Then we get some light drums and heavy long, bass notes. Sort of delayed voices in the background.
Drum removal and we're sort of back to the intro but it's a just a break until that fat bassline returns.
Now I want it to really build to something more. Maybe bigger and better or just something else melodically. But it doesn't, which is my only complaint about the track.
I just felt it should have gone into some other sort of theme but you just spent the last 45 seconds doing the same sort of stuff as before.
Overall: good work and lots of beauty here but I know it could be better.
excellent work.
I enjoyed the ambience, and the simplicity of the elements, the piano melody is also one of the nicest things mixed environment.
is hard to find songs of this genre with that same feeling that you managed to convey in this song.
Description : Chaos....Chaos ensues when life is unfolding in many different ways all around you. A demand here, a demand there, do this, do that, things going wonky or all happening at the same time. It's overwhelm but it's excitement, it's crazy but it's also very real. Welcome to the world of Kay-0s!
Please feel free to download from kayos2.bandcamp.com if you want to support our work. Many thanks, Oli&Kay
Description : In 2015 I made a dubstep track called Labyrinth Of The Absurd. This is part 2. Check out part 1 if you haven't yet. This is a Dark D-n-B. Or whatever.
I used Serum, Massive, Sylenth1. I used no presets, and no prefabricated loops. This is all original content from scratch. The only exception being the vocal samples.
Description : Ambient breaking into dnb I guess. All loops (except for 1 synth by my 7 yo daughter) so I can’t take much credit for this. Free demo loops from Loopmasters and LM loops from:

Description : 170 BPM drum 'n' cell epic. That's drum 'n' bass with lots of my layered, lead cello playing. It's both banging and chilled out, with intricate basslines and soaring, melodic cello parts. Instruments: electric cello, piano, three synth basses, two synth pads. Drums are loads of drum loops supported by a few programmed acoustic drum kits. It's fast and powerful stuff but there are also two deep grooving half tempo sections. No guitar so anything that sounds like it might be is, unsurprisingly, cello. This was fairly hard to make and required a lot of hard work. It's still far from perfect, especially the rather abrupt, unimaginative ending (I couldn't think of anything better). Have a good listen and then consider leaving me some fascinating feedback. Not much drum 'n' cell about so I like to think this is worth checking out...
Description : Sometimes I love taking our great singers out of their comfort zone and placing them in a completely different genre. This time, it's Callmedezz, for whom I've created a velvety soft bed of sounds for his rather powerful voice, making sure the women feel comfortable after light is switched off :-)
Description : This track uses lyrics written in Morse Code, with tempo and pitch adjustments to fit. I’ve also programmed some Morse into an analog synth part.

Description : So ive been listening to alot of dnb lately, and i decided to try my hand at it. It turned out to be alittle more chillout than I wanted it to be, but I still like how it turned out.
Description : I met this October with a desire to do something new. I got tired of listening to 90s Jungle and decided to make something fresh that would still sound old-school in the future.
Album: Autumn Tunes
A ambient type of DnB track, one to make you think, Second attempt at the DnB genre for this year, again apologise to Drum and Bass artist, guessing again not your normal DnB.Used flute Rhodes Piano, and a few other bits to hopefully get the feeling for the piece I wanted, along with a few break beats/bass lines and FX etc...
Please comment/review and the favour will be returned...
I got my start in the industry (As in paid artist/music label) with Liquid DnB, it's a nice thing to go back to every once in a while. Especially remixing such fantastic vocals.
