This is a phat mix! It's people like you that are in the process of getting me back into house, don't know if I should thank you or poison you...heh. Definitely cool deep and bouncy vibes going throughout this set! Listening, and reading djtheobserver01's comment and your reply made me wonder if you are doing much volume automation in this minimixes of yours? Mostly just curious, as I don't hear to much for mix problems. The last part is definitely my favorite, has major flow to it! I've been awake over 4 hours, and I think this track finally woke me up! Nice one! Fave!

Sounds good Mr. Free Radical.

What I focus on is the negative stuff, that can be corrected. Today I have one thing, that I noticed. Do you sweep the frequencies to eliminate painful frequencies?

It is very easy. Done like this:

I watched the video and i can't say as it's something i've ever tried but if i ever manage to make something more up to date and half decent i might give it a go, but this little bit of looping and sampling probably doesn't deserve the attention if i'm brutally honest. It's a bit like a throwback from 15 years ago.
Never say never again is one of my favourite Bond films so i liked that clip (My favourite part is where he takes out that big dude with a cup full of piss).
Anyway, cheers for stopping by, sharing videos and leaving comments. It's all appreciated.

FreeRadical, You're the man! Honestly in my opinion, I think you should stick to making house music as you're just really great at it. Every last house track you have here, (4 in counting) I loved.

These tracks are professional sounding and sounds like they would be played in a club of some sort by an awesome DJ. Keep up the great work and please upload more. I love it!

I'm glad you think so but i'm not happy with any of the tracks i've written just lateley. Perhaps it's because i quit smoking the green stuff. I bought all these synths but i haven't got a clue how to use them so hopefully things will improve once i get my head around them.
Cheers for dropping in and commenting.

I have to disagree. I think my stuff is still stuck in the ninetys so i bought some synths to try and bring it up to date. Trouble is i don't yet understand them properly so by the time i get my music up to date i'll probably still be fifteen years behind lol.
Anyway, thanks for tuning in and leaving comments.

Thanks TG, Again it was mostly loops so it's only a case of arranging an EQing, It doesn't take a great deal of thought. Just a lot of searching and trial & error.
Thanks for dropping by and checking out this track.

Yeah i hear you, I think i had the levels up a bit too loud to compensate for the fact that the last two thirds were quiter. I need to go play with the faders a little. Still, i love doing these little mixes because you don't know where it's gonna go.
Thanks for dropping in and checking it out.

Dont know how you keep it up but well done, another masterpiece mate. The first and last tracks are the stand out ones for me. I think maybe you should try and do a complete a whole track from any of the ones you've done so far, what you reckon? ha ha.

FreeRadical replied 1st Jun 2014 - 11 years ago
I keep it up because i'm currently a prisoner in my own home and i've got jack shit to do except make tunes and play xbox. You're right, i should do a complete track but way i see it is that we get ten minute slots so we might as well use them up.
Cheers for dropping in as always.

Man I love the clarity of your tracks, I don't think people realize how deep you dive into your tracks...I listen, that little whine buried about 6 or 7 layers deep....I was what is that...so many others may never notice it, but I was like damn he had to do it!

It's easy to get good clarity with pro loops as most of the eq is already how you'd want to use it.

I always save at the highest bit rate and then run it through audacity which converts the vile to a smaller size without losing quality. I don't know if you have a copy but if you don't it's free and definitely worth downloading.

I'm not sure which noise you mean by the little whining noise, it was probably a mistake lol!

Anyway, I'm glad you could drop in and leave your thoughts on this track, if i'm honest i'm not that happy with it but then it's very rarely i am these days.

Cheers!!!

I Like that deep bassline, cool synths too! I like the snare roll and how it transitions into the next part, would be cool to have some sort of building delay on the synth before you drop the bassline again! Second part sounds really 90's, vocals work really well! The last part is ace, almost like its jumping out at me! Sounds really good mate, well done!

FreeRadical replied 1st Jun 2014 - 11 years ago
Thanks. I might try and add a few more layers and give it a bit more depth. In all honesty i'm not that happy with any of the stuff i've been making lateley so i think it could be a lot better.

I am liking this track! The old school vibe which then turns into this modern sorta vibe is a great transition. Beginning reminds me of the MK remix of 'Push The Feeling on' by The Nightcrawlers.

Definitely going in my faves.

Keep up the EXCELLENT work!

Description : As I was in Berlin recently I was inspired by the Beachhouse Radio from FluxFM . I had a beat lying in a cupboard for years and it was time to do something with it. Together with the great voice of Odarka I did setup a beat that does have a deep feeling to it. I kept it raw and unmastered for now. Let's see where it goes.

Description : Hard energetic banger with a hypnotic techno sounding intro which blasts into the hard drop! The track seems a house track with slight influences of big room and techno fused together.

The track is meant as a true original mix, so being mixed into a set and thereby bringing a high energetic touch to it. It is mastered by Spivkurl, thanks!

Its my first track officially released but my second track that I produced. so.. PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK! ;) Free DL through soundcloud.

Description : This is straight up Witch House. This is a more "sensuously spooky" remake of the older CBC track I did titled, Lost You Baby. I have no idea what language the lyric track is. This track definitely has the atmosphere of the genre it represents. It's a regular witch house poster child. So if you're not familiar with the genre, Here ya go.
