Groovy jammin rock track you've got here! The guitar and bass sit perfectly together! One thing I'd love to hear in this song is nice organ part, maybe with a short solo at some point. I just love organs, especially in rock music! Anyway, this is a really fun one to listen to! Interesting you called it "Sleep," I don't think my sleep usually sounds like this...heh. Nicely done!

topvega replied 23rd May 2014 - 12 years ago

Thanks Spiv. I agree a cool Organ would be a nice addition. I have vacay coming up 2nd week of June. Maybe I can sit down and try and add some. What's funny is I don't remember why I named this one Sleep. lol I must have named it early on and it stuck. Thanks for giving it a listen.

Very smooth tune! Sound like "classical" rock i think. Zero "agressivity", pure rock. I can listen to songs like this for long periods of time. Really worth a good vocal i think. GJ!

Thanks traz, appreciate you listening and leaving a comment with some kinds words. I tried to keep the lead guitar calm and soothing to contrast the harder rhythm guitars. Glad you liked it.

you`re reminding me of that old rock feeling Topvega....if it aint rock it aint music...my tastes may have mellowed a lot but the straight up rock & roll done guitar band style always rings the bell for good times...good stuff..not intended as a criticism (I enjoyed the listen big time) but if you backed off the hard limiting a bit (or used a softer knee) I think the lead guitar dynamics might pop a little more....keep on man....Ed

topvega replied 2nd Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

Thanks for the tip Ed, I will give that a try. Kind of you to give it a listen and for leaving a comment. Every time I think my tastes are mellowing a bit I seem to find a new band that reignited that hard rock vibe in me. Latest has been WolfMother. Thanks again for the kind words.

Taking me back to my youth! Just the kind of thing I loved to rock out to. It would be a perfect road trip song LOL just add a few vocals to sing along at the top of your lungs cruising down the road.

topvega replied 2nd Apr 2014 - 12 years ago

Glad I could help you to get back to your youth, music is awesome like that. Thanks for listening and leaving a comment.

Simple yet effective. You always do great "driving backroads" music. Good for road trips.

All elements sound fitting together, nice jam going on.

Always a pleasant trip.
