I think I may have already said this to you, but I really like the "live feeling" on your songs.
It really sounds like a real band is playing.
    Good!
I think the song has still some "rough" edges (a couple of notes here and there) but this is good stuff!

You have Domenico, and I appreciate the kind words and the support. You are right abpout the need to go in and clean up some spots. I will be on vacay next week and will have the time to go in and do some retakes in certain areas to clean up things. Also want to get better tone on the lead guitar. It needs to shimmer a little.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and leave a comment. It's appreciated.

The lead guitar playing on this has a kind of David Gilmour feeling. Great song overall. I like this.

Very kind words bro, it's appreciated. Gilmour is one of my idols and an inspiration to me. Glad I could do a good enough job with the leads to draw even the slightest comparison. Thanks for taking the time to give this a listen and leave a review.

Ha, I wasn't expecting to hear a rock ballad when I read the title, but it works. To me, it just feels like a song about frustration, with women. And I dig that.

Lol, yeah about half the time I name my songs whatever is on my mind. The other half they have something to do with the song itself. This one definitely not. Been in the mood to do a ballad for a while now. Always nice to slow it down and go with a less is more approach to the leads. More opportunity to stress tone and feeling over number of notes. Thanks for the kind words of support. It really is appreciated.

Thanks bro, I must confess that those are other ways of saying dirt bags of the female kind, around where I am from. :)

I just felt like doing a ballad. Most of the stuff I do is quicker paced. I appreciate the support my friend.
    Thanks again.

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : I wrote this song some time ago when I was living in Florida. It's even more true today.

Vocals by Arthur Granquist, guitar by the great Kevin Lysen, drums by Marc Karmatz, also the recording engineer.

The idea musically was to take some rock and some bluegrass elements, mash 'em up and see what happened.

Every day is a struggle to do better in a crazy world.

Guys, a couple of friends and I, we've got Lowdown with this track.
One of us started with a chord and we followed each other.
I must say there are no sounds like the sounds of real drums.
I hope you enjoy it if you do then please leave me a comment.
