Description : in 1976 we bought an old Mercedes Bus (our former drummer and I) then traveled to Morocco, bought some classical concert guitars in Malaga and took the ship from Algeciras to Ceuta visiting all medinas in Morocco .......from Fes,Meknes to Marrakesh etc. and back again........we had an old tape deck in the bus and listened nearly every day to Frank Zappa,Chick Corea,Herbie Hancock and especially Weather Report and all the other great fusion stuff that was actually produced in those year......this is an attempt to capture a bit of the flavor of this 3 month trip when everything seemed to be very easy...........an old track composition digitally rerecorded in 2008 Co Psychotropic Circle
Tasty fusion track, superb work on the bass and as PJB pointed out the interaction between bass and melody is perfect.
I don't think I am gonna getting an answer, but I am really curious to know how you got this bass sound?

I really like how fleshed out this track is. Countless elements at play but you did a great job of finding the right place for all of them to shine in their own individual context, as well as that of the whole. The happy vibe of this is infectious and I love your use of the drum crash here. It adds a good contrast.
thank you very much Jack....this was more than a simple review but also very detailed information about how the different elements reach the listener
cheers,Rob
great atmospheric track.....lots of variety.....nice laid back track.....cool track with a warm flavour
Well done

thank you for your weird vocal loops I have used in a track
The rhythm section on this track is as closely intertwined with the melody line as I've ever heard....a superb tune that incorporates an almost pristine clarity..I'll be downloading this..speaking of which ..I vote that your track allocation be increased..I know this has been done before on the site...especially considering your loop download statistics.....anyway MrPC this is a fantastic track...by the way I was on the road in 1975 in a Citroen camion...could have passed you!!!cheers planet :)
This track is amazing, and you have captured some emotion in this, at least I can feel something...almost like I was there, traveling soaking in the scenery...if you had video of your trip this would make the coolest music track. I definitely dig it man - good work!
Wow...this is nice! Really chill...sounds a bit mournful, up until the funny percs come in...pipes sound wicked...this track is bloody perfect...definitely one for a summer's evening...

I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
Description : This is track me and my friend (great jazz, blues musician) done
around this great vocal we acquired.
Lot of hours in it.
I had great fun making it!
Hope you people like it.
Love and peace.
Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.
Smooth Mellow funky Jazz. Uses: 0111003-djrumplestiltskin-swung-funk-drum-beat, 0087009-mrroads442-guitar-line, 0072485-michiel555-mellow-funk, 0058934-ferryterry-90-bpm-soprano-sax. Is this Funk or Jazz?
Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result.
Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?
