Chill Out

6.68 MB

Description : This is the very 1st trak I wrote on Reason after my buddy Victor gave me about a four hour 'over his shoulder' tutorial. I took my newly loaded laptop home and spent all night on this song. I was so used to sequencing all my stuff still, I played all the instruments, with very few loops. I have a gal interested in singing vocals to this. Who said Reason is hard!!! Also check out Rei4reals collab version!

This chill out track was uploaded by Devodale. They retain full copyright and you are only entitled to listen and in some instances download. For further details on how you can use tracks see the terms and conditions and the tracks section of the help area.

I just got through listening to rei4real's collab with you and I thought I would give your version another listen. I must have lost this song the first time I downloaded it. This ones going on my ipod for sure. Great job for the first time using reason.

I think the most impressive thing about you is your ability to navigate any genre, and do it like an expert. There really is something to be said for a lifetime of dedication to a craft, and this track beautifully illustrates that.

What a wonderful listen. Well done!!!

Great track!Like this melancholic atmosphere. The bassline is really awesome and it seems I can hear some dulcimer which gives a classical Italian feel to the song.Faved!

Hey man, thanks for the review! I like the bass in this song, is that the analog subtractor? I also like the sort of effortless guitar or whatever it is at 1:30~. Overall its a really nice smooth track.

Great job and keep em coming!

santiagosky 28th Apr 2009 21:53 - 17 years ago

I'm lovin da vibe this track gives off. It sounds like a video game soundtrack. Matter a fact, I really would like to play a game with this song as the soundtrack...no lie!!!

theonetruebrew 27th Mar 2009 06:12 - 17 years ago

this is solid stuff man, it sounds like it should be played as the bgm for a first person shooter or something lmao. but yeah its really entrancing

I love the Italian or Greek flavor that is infused with this chilled lounge sound. I can imagine laying on the beach watching the sun set on the Mediterranean while enjoing the warm breeze and sipping a cool drink. Very atmosphereic. Job well done. Dwnload for sure.

ToxicVoltage 29th Aug 2008 19:07 - 18 years ago

BKMack 25th Jul 2008 19:25 - 18 years ago

Title fits the track perfectly. It lends a nice and easy melody. As I have expressed to you before, your talent is much greater than you think and I will continue to spread your name.

MosReQuest 13th Jul 2008 04:30 - 18 years ago

Pretty cool track, nice atmosphere

blairrock957 28th Jun 2008 06:42 - 18 years ago

The arpegio gives it a Italian flavor. I like this a lot. Like the beat and great change on the melody in the middle. Just a great mellow easy listening piece. Such a beutiful melody line
Going to Fav. this.

Devodale replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Maybe it would have been easier to use an arpegator on this, but I played all by hand. Those are a dulcimer and a mandolin samples. I had to play every single note on the dulcimer, but the mandolin auto picks the notes. For my first Reason trak, I was still pretty unsure how to do things.
