Description : Juno-D on Bassline duties. I meant to make this in G major but it sounded better in G minor. No good for my current project but sounds good in general - definitely rattles the subs. I used compression, pulveriser and stressbox on the loop once recorded.

Description : The Subcombicon is weird to use - it doesn't really output anything in key! But it sounds good and I tested this loop with some pads and chords in C and it fits well enough, so even though it's not quite in C Major, it's close enough. Might work in C minor too, depending on what you put with it. It sounds very modular though! Bleeps and Bloops for days.

Description : This trance lead I made with Vital, but I made my own wavetables in Ocean Swift Wavetable Creator first, so you could say that this loop was really built from the ground up! Reverb is Magic Dice.

Description : Got a new drumkit for my sampler so I cranked out a new beat. This one is kinda dubstep style but slowed down a lot to make an industrial urban vibe. Made on SP-606 recorded into Reason.

Description : Using the JX-08 to come up with layers for the project I am working on. Unlike my Edge and Grind, the JX is very musical and the sounds it comes out with are nice rather than harsh. I used A heap of Space Echo on this to give it more space. I also used a bitcrusher to add a bit of grit.

Description : Made with Subcombicon, which is a Reason version of the Moog Subharmonicon. This unit creates atonal polyrhythmic sequences for hypnotic techno. A little Waves stressbox added after recording. Lots of low end!

Description : Behringer Grind in Chord Mode. Subtle filter and old fashioned plate reverb (just the basic reverb in my mixer). It sound like too much reverb solo but the chord stabs sit nicely in the mix.

Description : When the nightclubs close the dayclubs open and this deep house beat is the sound you'll hear. Thick 909 kick and snare layered with ghost hits in the sampler. Made with RD-9 and SP-606 synced together with swing on the 606 ghost hits. Dance the day away!

Description : Just a nice thick house beat made with ReDrum. MPC 55% swing added to the percs for extra groove. UFX Room Reverb also used (very subtle). Eight bars for more variety. I like the kick on this - from my RD-9 but with three layers of drive and compression.

Description : Today I sampled a Djembe I borrowed and used the ReDrum drum machine to sequence the samples. Then I moved everything off-grid to simulate human playing and the result is nice and groovy. Room reverb used to add more realism. This one is much faster for psytrance :)
