Description : I've gone way back to the old school today, sampling my Yamaha V50 FM synth from the 80s, then chopping up sequences from it in Mimic, then adding FX like space delay, distortion and chorus to the chops to add a bit of modern flavour. These loops can easily be re-chopped in your own sampler and the chops will stay in key.

Description : The key its in is in a jazz format, so the key is very flexible and its best with lofi beats to just play it by ear because music theory is just a suggestion when making jazz. There are many notes in this outside a typical A Sharp Major scale.I am curious to see what you guys make with this and always love hearing your final products.

Description : I started with a raw unprocessed 909 kick drum.My processing method is,
EQ: Boost around 50-60Hz, Cut at 200-300Hz, Boost 2-4kHz, Lowpass 8-10kHz.
Compression: Ratio 3:1-4:1, Attack 20-30ms, Release 50-120ms, Gain Reduction 2-4db, Make up Gain 2-3db.
Saturation: Analog Clip, Drive 2-3db.
Transient Shaper by 36db: Attack 0.10ms, Sustain 0.99ms.
After processing I bounced down and normalized the sample loop to bring the levels up to 0.00db
The key is in G# 52-52.1Hz.
