Tip for better recording- Try maintaining 6 to 12 inches (approx 1 decimeter?) away from the mic. This'll reduce/eliminate getting any pops & breath catches in your capture. Or if the mic is really weak (to where you can't really have it that far away) try holding it up higher (right around 1 cm off the bridge of your nose). Later on!
my mic refuses to allow me to have it too far away from my mouth actually...I mean it doesn't beat me up lol, but I've noticed that unless I speak directly into it it picks up all the ambient noises around me. I probably just need a better mic...although your tip about holding it higher might work. Thanks :)
