Tracks 26 - 42 of 42

Description : Greets mates. This marks my first major project since Home-A-Loan (in Jan). Just got outta college for the summer last week and it was causin me to run around like crazy for the past few months. Now that I've got some free time again I decided that I'd hit the lab again...-....-... Though the track sticks to a genre that I'm pretty good with it utilized a rather unorthodox method of creating the key sequences. And believe it or not, I'm only about a third of the way done with what I want to do for this track. (currently only has half of the drums, bass and pads, 2 chans per)...-... The song's name came randomly because of the song's texture and the different way I crafted the synths. Sorry, no downloads for the mo (but if you're a friend who'd like to maybe collab on this, shoot me a message and I'll reply with the files). Also, this track hasn't been mastered really at all (just FYI). Suggestions on mixing or the mixdown are more than welcome. Hope yall dig this lil experiment. Lates!

Description : So yeah, I've had this one under wraps for a few months now and I decided that it was high time I finished it. I'm prolly definitely gonna go back and rework this some more, but for now I figured I'd share this oddball creation I've made with all of you.
The name comes from an older name of the Earth and the other part is what I had originally named it because that's the vibe it gave me. Worldly wide and smoothly house, yeah. Course, one could say that it isn't really either in the true sense, but I don't care. It makes me smile and now I must go to do some schtuff. Later on yall!

Description : I decided that it might be fun to show off some of the loops I've created this year in a mix. All the bass and vocal stuff on this is stuff that I made primarily as stand alone loops for others to use (in my Loops section here). If yall like the way they sound on here feel free to use them for your own mixes.
I've put this in "Dance", but I have a feeling that it might be better suited in another genre (drum & bass, house, fusion, I dunno, haha). Beyond my stuff I used 3 channels of drums that came as part of one of my progs (so it's not 100% me on this, sighs, I'm sucha lazy fool).
The name comes from the one vocal sample I made that kinda reminds me of the stuff DJ Icey did for Baby Anne years ago (kinda where the inspiration for the who series came from really). And I know I'm not the world's best MC, but I feel that these snippets contain the pure essence of the groove here. Anyways, I had loads of fun concocting this puppy. Hope yall dig it as much as I am at the mo'.

Description : (UPDATE) I finally got off my lazy bones & did an extended version of this. Currently sitting @ 3:11.
I went crazy with the effects as you'll hear. I also had to revert back to the sketchy export-to-wav way of mastering this (so it might sound shoddy at the higher vols). I also experimented with playing around with different key speeds (medium+fast). Kinda makes it more interesting IMO (might also make it sound disjointed though, but that sorta works in favor of the genre, yes/no?). Added some more elements to this to broaden its dynamic (horns & woodwinds).
Dunno how I feel about this mix though. Might go back & make another mix of this (to go with more of an Industrial vibe). Gonna throw this out there for yall to pick apart (& save if ya wanna). (suggestions welcome). Lates!

Description : First allow me to apologize for taking this down before (and all the reviews that were lost). As some of you may know, I was encountering a problem with viewing my 'Tracks page' when I was logged in. So through a joint effort of me experimenting with either disabling or removing tracks and Looperman's magic administration tricks bag we were able to figure out what was causing the glitch (overly long track descriptions, haha, me write too much, what). So my bad yall. I'll try to abbr stuff from now on.
Anyways, as for this track, it's something I cooked up at the beginning of summer where I was originally wanting to make a nice and mellow ambient track, but instead came up with this baby. And despite how much I tried, I couldn't really find anything to go with what I had for this song. So I decided to leave it as is and thought that maybe some of the rocker elite on here could help finish it for me. If you're game lemme know, cool. Enjoy this rare oddity from me. Lates!

Description : Alright yall 1, I'm extending another invite to remix or complete a track I've started. Looperites unite (LC=Looperman Collab)!

Alright yall 2, this is a super old track that I did on my keyboard way back in 2000 (this would be the first track I ever recorded with an instrument). This is an edited version that I used Magix 05 to improve (I also dropped the additional song channels that I felt clashed). Lengthwise, it falls perfectly @ 6:52 and really only needs some tweekin to be considered finished (note how for once I skip adding any drums/percussion). As before, if ya do decide to mess with this I'd absolutely luv to hear whatcha come up with. Later on all!

*PS check out JohnnyGadget's version, Viento De La Montana.

Description : Previously hosting 'Tides part II' which can be heard on my SOUNDCLICK page if ya wanna check it out.

I did this track a couple of days ago when I was playin around with on the NanoKey using my new MacBook. I just heard this soundfont and fell in love with it. And 1, 2, skip a few I came up with this cool key sequence.
As is it's kinda cinematic, but I suppose it could be used for a few other genres. And the name comes directly from that cine' vibe it has.
Anyways, I'm throwin this up for anyone who wants to mess with making a cool track with it. I can also send out the Midi file if anyone wants it (just shoot me a message requesting it and I'll email it to ya). Well, that's about it. Hope yall dig this puppy. Later on!

Tags : | Techno | 2.75 MB

Description : Alright, this was something I came across back in March and think I made mention of wanting to maybe mess with it (saying something about it needing more Bass or similar, shrugs). Though I only did that on this mix somewhat. I really just went to town on adding various effects and I think this honestly can't be considered a remix since I didn't make any real changes to the original (except for said effects and extending the overall playtime via starting the original later and both beginning and ending the track with effects loops).
I've thrown this up under Techno because I can't remember what the original was classified as. And it just sounds that way to me now, eh, I dunno. So I hope yall like this take on it and I'm sorry, but it won't be avail for download until I get word back saying that it's alright to do so. Later on yall!

Description : For drum loops used= DJ Hatim's loop page (many thanks there because those are some really great loops he added)
For the Transformer vocal samples=

So as you can tell from the length this song isn't finished. I've done so because I wanted to give yall the chance to take this and add onto or finish. Later on peeps!-

Description : So about a week or so ago I was on here when I happened to notice this one advert for a competition being held by Free-loops.com & PrimeLoops.com. I decided that I'd check it out and after scoping out the loop pack this is what I came up with.
This song also uses a few loops from our buddy Drofon and a couple of samples from the site FreeSounds.org (thanks to digifishmusic & FreqMan). Massive kudos goin to those people. Yall rawk super hard!
As for the name, well, it came from the desire to use one of those in-flight messages to fill the silent gap towards the end. I also feel that certain elements of this track just remind me of being high up. Anyways, I hope yall dig this little House-ish piece I've come up with. Later on yall!

Tags : | House | 5.03 MB

Description : A remix of my buddy Moke's killer cool, yet strange track. Later on yall!

Description : Howdy all.
First, I broke role again to delete a song. So I apologize to those 4 who's stuff was lost. Second, genre-wise, I have absolutely no idea. Just gonna wing it and throw it into Techno for now.
Alright, so XxYoung and I have kinda been hintin at doin a collab for the past few weeks and a few days ago he emailed me a couple of loops that he was thinkin I could tinker with.
And that's exactly what I did. At first I was kinda havin trouble thinkin about how I'd build 'em up into a song. Then I thought, 'Why not see if I could add 'em to a project that I've already got started?'. Well, earlier I was file scanning and this one in particular caught my eye. So I punched it up and...
Color me a Blue nosed Gopher, it seemed to fit right in on the first time go around. So I spent a few hours messin with the loops he sent me- Modifying 'em to add a little extra spice. And VOILA!
The name came from a vision I've had for a while now to honor those guys who risk their lives all the time so our stuff doesn't get toasty (or a cat doesn't starve up in a tree or a wrecked car don't 'Splode with the person still pinned inside). Hey, I kinda like that- Sssplode, haha, got my next track name right there YAY!
Anyways, so I built what I had up around that concept (of Fire trucks and station alarms). And Young's Lords of Acid-like synths served to round out the equation nicely.
What you hear now is only half of what's in store for this baby. So keep yer eyes & ears peeled, this'll surely continue down a path of running lights and sirens blaring. Hope yall dig this little creation of ours. Later on!
PS. I know the levels on this
are gonna need to be polished
later, coz right now it's kind of
unmastered.

Tags : | Electronic | 6.32 MB

Description : (update)
I went back and reworked the levels so it'd be smoother (mainly with the bass). Nothing fancy, just some polishing. Payce
(end update)
So as I announced earlier this year, The Crystal Method was offering up some of their songs for other artists to play with by providing the stems on their web site (provided that you bought the album Divided By Night, dunno if they've changed the requirement since then).
Originally I was going to make a completely different song, but earlier on this morning when I was messing with adding stuff to the project I opened up the TCM- BR folder and started fooling with the vocals. I felt that they fit with the groove of what I was doing. So I ended up laying the entire vocal sample out and then I went and added other elements of their song. I dunno, I might've gone a bit overboard with the FX on here, but I was wanting to ensure that the vibe of the original song that I was working of carried over into this remix (which is where the name comes from, BTW, the orig title was Nap Time, and I intended for it to be a sister song to Snooze Button).
Genre-wise, I've thrown this into Electronic, even though I feel that it's more like some low tempo Tech-House. And at the moment I'm contemplating whether I should post Nap Time as well. Anyways, I hope yall dig this strange puppy I done did. Later on!
PS. Please tell me if the mixdown sounds muddled to you or not coz at the mo' I can't tell.
PPS. Alright, I've also made another mp3 of just the original parts I did if any of my friends wanna collab on it, message me to lemme know and I'll shoot you the file/s.

Tags : | Rap | 2.75 MB

Description : (Edit) Be sure to check out the original!.
This is currently incomplete. I started this a while back and I got to thinking that I'd like others to rap (or sing) on it. Kinda like an unofficial looperman vocal squad collab or somethin. The version you hear now is 3:00, but I only rap for a minute and a half of that (from like 0:30 to 2:00, approx). The whole mix I did is 4:38.
So I'm thinkin there's room for 2 others (1 rapper & 1 singer or 2 other rappers). Hit me with a message if you'd like to do somethin on it and I'll email you the whole mix.
As for the song, I just went crazy for the beat and so I just hadta do something with it. The rmx is pretty basic and involved tempo tweeking, four channels with multiple channel isolated fades throughout on all, effects, and mastering effects. The vox were kept basic because I wanted to kinda give it a timeless vibe (not of either skool, really). The effects I added to them is a direct reflection of DJ Screw's style of mixin tracks (though mine is way more basic and doesn't really involve the beats). I was also wanting to evolve the P'Funk-esque feel I had tried on my remix of Sparque's Let's Go Dancin on the vocals I added to it later. Going high and going low (with some additional effects thrown on to both). Off for now. Lates mates!

Description : This is something that I just churned out using my new prog iDrum (for Mac). Its kind of a lame piece, because it was built off of the program's 'Default' pattern (slightly edited by yours truly). I think that this is a good example of how cool that prog is (super basic, easy to read/use/export, etc.). I highly recommend that yall go n get it if you've gotta Mac.

And for the collab, I'm uploading both this (project file) and the individual loops (sans 1 b/c it was a prog pre-set). For those interested, the tempo is 160 & the order is-

A (2x, intro), B (4x), C (4x), D (4x), E (2x, N/A fill)...
F (4x), G (4x), H (4x), E (2x, N/A fill)...
I (4x), J (4x), K (4x), E (2x, N/A fill)...
L (4x), M (4x), A (2x, outro).

Alright, well, I look forward to hearing what everyone comes up with. Keep bangin on yall!

Description : Track time- 3:25
LCE= Looperman Collab Exclusive.
The collaboration between Ash and I has been in the making for about a month now. Stuff kept comin up and it'd get put on hold, but this time it's finally taken off.

Splish added the drums and extra bass to this. Along with tweakin some of the synth parts near the end. His stuff adds a slight House element that I think serves to strengthen it's foundation. As well as, opening up the door for even more additions.
As I was tellin Ash, I was thinkin that this could go even further and I can now easily see this morphing into a really bangin Rave type track.

The name came from the fact that when I was listening to this song as it progressed I just thought that it had this 'Dreamy' quality to it. On top of also having that part in the middle that sounds like an alarm clock going off.
Well all, I hope yall dig what we've brought to the table so far and I'll catch yall later on. PV/TC!

PS. Splish's version can be heard via the link below-

Description : Okies yall, I'm proud to present to you a Looperman Group Collaboration that's been done by TravisHuckins, Jahknow,, and myself (so far). With a few more members who may also do something with this.
It all started when I posted this thread a lil while ago. Almost instantly, these 2 guys hopped up and offered their skiils. So I kinda formulated a game plan and suggested designations for people's parts. What resulted was (in order)...
Trav on the Bass
Jah on the Drums
and myself on the Pads
The past couple of days I did alot of referencing to see if I couldn't come up with the best key sequence to compliment what the other two fine fellows had setup already. I listened to DI.fm's Goa-Psy channel. I must admit that comin up with synth stuff for this kinda music seemed like it was gonna be hard (atleast with the stuff I was hearing there). Basically, I just made a really simple= D, F, E, C held key roll and then went and added 3 layers of effects on one sample I converted to wav and another layer of effects on a copy of the basic Midi sample.
I didn't hear it the last few times I was listening to the channel, but I was immediately reminded of this one track I heard some time ago that kinda did a tribute to the movie Pitch Black (with the alien creature's funny sounding call). So I tried emulating that a bit in one of the effected channels. Then I wanted to give kind of an electrical/Band Saw type of sound on another. The other two just kinda serve to accentuate the rest of the song, I think.
Anyways, I recorded my stuff on Magix with my NanoKey and I'll be sending out the samples (both wav & midi here in a few) to those who're involved. Well all, I really hope yall dig what we've come up with so far... And if you feel like any of this needs tweakin or anything just let us know, okay. Off for now. PV/TC!
