Description : I decided that it might be fun to show off some of the loops I've created this year in a mix. All the bass and vocal stuff on this is stuff that I made primarily as stand alone loops for others to use (in my Loops section here). If yall like the way they sound on here feel free to use them for your own mixes.
I've put this in "Dance", but I have a feeling that it might be better suited in another genre (drum & bass, house, fusion, I dunno, haha). Beyond my stuff I used 3 channels of drums that came as part of one of my progs (so it's not 100% me on this, sighs, I'm sucha lazy fool).
The name comes from the one vocal sample I made that kinda reminds me of the stuff DJ Icey did for Baby Anne years ago (kinda where the inspiration for the who series came from really). And I know I'm not the world's best MC, but I feel that these snippets contain the pure essence of the groove here. Anyways, I had loads of fun concocting this puppy. Hope yall dig it as much as I am at the mo'.

Cool deal mate. Don't think I've ever heard of either of those artists. Will haveta check 'em out now. As for the track, I just had crazy fun with the mixdown. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
This might be DnB, but idk alot of different elements you do not normally hear in that genre. The drumming's great though. I like the bass..kinda buzzing..is it arpeggiated?
Yeah, I dunno what this is exactly (kind of it's own beast). As for the bass, they're all loops that I've got loaded on here in my loops section (feel free to check 'em out). Used 2 sets and I don't recall arpegin any of 'em. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Good work here. Good mix of different styles. You displayed your own style productively here and it shows. Does not lack any character or interest. Keep it up!
Prech that mate. I think the reason this track works so well is that mix of styles (along with the fact that none of this was planned, with the loops being used together like that). Glad ya liked it. Later on!
That's cool mate. I had been wanting to use those (the main drums) for a hot minute and when I paired 'em with the primary bass on this (the Impulse Power loops) they just seemed to fit perfectly. The rest of the drums were added to give 'em some extra dimension. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Sorry about the delay (school stuff). Yeah, I think of live sets alot when I go to make loops and also when I'm mixin stuff. I don't just look at a track from a 'stand alone' perspective. I try to think of it in terms of what's coming after and what's coming after that or the stuff before it. I try to make my loops to where they could be used repeatedly throughout one major set (at the 15 second mark or 28 minutes in). Glad ya dug it. Later on!
You've really done a great job showcasing these loops. The track does have an eerie quality to it. I like the variety in all aspects of this track. It's almost confusingly original. Cool stuff man!
Prech that man. Yeah, this track was in and of itself another experiment. Not necessarily a new one, but I thought mid-mixing 'why not go for 2 bass channels instead of having leads or pads?'. Haven't really messed with that approach since late 07 with And Then There Was. The second part came with the drums where I tried fusing the stylings of both house & breaks/d&b. The vocals were added at the end just to beef it up and to show the nay sayers that they could be used. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
good track, nice production, lots of fade ins and outs gives it a reoccurring feeling of something, i dunno what, but like you seen something in the corner of your eye then look and theres nothing. lol just the feeling i got from it :)
Weird but again nothing wrong with that!
Keep it up man,
God Bless

Yeah, the in-and-out part came from the way I rolled the bass loops. I put the rest in to fit that vibe. Spent alotta time doin the constant fades on the drums since about March (my lil experiment for the year). The bass was built on a basic idea of having a constantly flowing sequence (with all 32 blocks filled in). Glad ya dug it. Later on!

Description : I have been using LooperMan for practice for some time now. This my most recent track. The only loop in the song is BabyGee's vocals. Free to download and if you repost tag me so I can share it as well.
Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...
Description : Summer type dance track, for those precious 2 weeks off, if you can get them! Made around a selection of different loops and some keys from me.
Description : Inspired by an experimental percussion piece I heard. Rhythmic ticking builds into pounding beats and heavy soundscapes. I haven't done any mixing or mastering yet so tell me what you think. Any and all comments are welcome.
Description : A song about a damaged soul. Sadly, based on a true story. Gorgeous loops here are by Hardstyle Rythm, Aboe, and Princess Hollywood. All basslines by that fiendish genius Rasputin. Take a bow, gentlemen

Sounds like something Kitsune or Ed Banger would put out.
I feel guilty for enjoying the beats so much, but they really tie all your own work together so well....nice selection and arrangement
well done
